This chapter is sooooo long. My Gawd.(ーー;)

Have a good day. ヾ(・ω・o)

Serena's POV

I rushed my way to the kitchen although it was dark, I tried to find a cloth and with success.

I went back and dried the table as much as I could. When I was done, I really hoped that the paper/song was still readable. I glanced at it and all my hope went down faster than you can scream NO. I flopped down on the seat and banged my head over and over again against the table.

I sighed and sat up straight. I noticed a pen and a stake of paper.

Hmm, should I?

No, I shouldn't.

But maybe...

It's stupid.

What should I do?

.

.

Do you know what I did next? I just write another. I know TOTALLY STUPID! The whole night spending time writing...a song?I think. But, what was I supposed to do?! Rather do something instead of nothing, right?

By the time I had finished writing, whatever I just wrote on a piece of paper. I yawned and rubbed my eyes. This whole night I was staring at a piece of paper, trying to magically put words on it that would make it look like some kind of song.

I heard my stomach growl but ignored it. I turned to my side and stared at the covers of the books from my seat. I tilted my head a bit to read the cover. Over the rainbow by Solomonica de Winter. I think I read that bo-

I heard another growl from my stomach. I sighed. I guess, it was time to get up. I slowly sat up and walked to the kitchen. I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket and looked at the time, it was 07:06 AM I answered the phone. I didn't even bother looking who was calling me.

"Hello?" I yawned.

"Goodmorning, sis" I rolled my eyes and smiled.

"Hi, Paul, what's up?"

"The sky, the birds what else. You?"

"Good," I laughed a bit." only I didn't sleep much,"

"Of how many hours are we speaking?" His tone sounded serious.

"Don't worry, it's nothing."

"Did you got a nightmare again?"

"No," I said when I got no response. I sighed. "Yes,"

"I'm coming,"

"You aren't even in the country."

"I am."

"What?!" I screamed I put a hand in front of my mouth to shut myself up.

"Hé, don't scream. That hurts my ears."

"Why are you here?"

"Don't tell me you forgot. You told me to come here as soon as possible."

"Shit, I forgot." I cursed.

"Let on your words, young lady,"

"As if you do," I rolled my eyes. "Where are you?"

"I'm in the airport, I'm going through security control. I'm going to take a cab when I'm done."

"How long do you think it will take?"

"An hour or more I think, why?" He sounded, confused."Aren't you home?"

"I'm currently at a friends house,"

"Serena," His tone was cold. Frigid. I bit my lip, assuming what his question would be. "Is that friend perhaps male?"

"Um," I shivered from his tone. "Y-yeah, but"

"I'll be there earlier,"

"Paul,"

And he hung up. Then I felt, Oh God, what have I done! I told him I'm sleeping over at a boy's place! I'm going to be killed today, twice!

I ran to the bathroom and quickly washed. I hadn't had time to take a shower and brush my teeth, even if I did I haven't even have my toothbrush with me. I just used some mouth water and sprayed myself with deodorant. I opened the deodorant and sprayed myself with it.

I coughed and waved in the air. "Too much," I coughed again. I put the deodorant away and ran to the kitchen.

I just ended up making both a breakfast for Ash and a sandwich for me. I quickly grabbed a piece of paper and scribbled on it and put it under his cup with orange juice. I speed walked towards Ash's room while grabbing my phone out of my pocket. When I looked at the time I almost sank. 07:44 AM

"Hé, Ash, wake up," I wanted to yell, but I yawned as I walked into the room. I had to shake my head to keep the drowsiness away. Man, I'm tired.

"Ugh," I groaned as I forgot that I am trying to wake Ash. I rushed to his side. And just shook him as hard as I could and kept yelling out his name. His response.

"Give me five more minutes," He mumbled as he turned on his side, his back facing me. I huffed, I stood up and opened the curtains letting the sunlight come in. I looked at the alarm next to his bed, 07: 56 AM.

"Wake up!" I was getting frustrated. I was also planning to surprise Paul with, Dawn. Oh no, I totally forgot about that. I grew tired of shaking and sighed as I sat down on the bed.

He shifted once or twice and ended up laying on his back. I noticed something around his neck, attached little chains. I wasn't sure if it was a necklace or a plain chain. The other part of it was covered by his shirt. Out of curiosity, I reached out to lift it up, only to see if it had a charm.

The moment I touched the piece of metal, I felt my wrist being grabbed and the floor beneath me disappear. Ash pulled me into him. Onto him. With both arms. My chest pressed against his, and the blanket slid between our stomachs. I looked up at him to see him with his half-open eyes looking down at me.

"Serena, do I have to ask again why you're this close again?" He asked, his voice a little hoarse with sleep.

"I-I wanted to wake you up," I stammered, trying to back away as much as I could, not available though.

"Oh really," He raised, his eyebrows at me.

"Really, I-I was trying to shake you awake," I stuttered, again and again, trying to get out of his grip. How come he doesn't remember? He even responded. "But it took you an eternity to wake up."

"Yeah sure," He rolled his eyes at me. "Why were you reaching for my chest, again?"

"I wanted to see what's around your neck," I stated, feeling quite exposed in this situation. God, why doesn't he stand up the moment I call him? "I swear."

"Yeah, yeah," he teased. "That's what they all say. Why don't you just admit it, honey? You're crazy about me."

"You are the one who's crazy, " I exclaimed as I felt my cheeks burn up."Just because I've been trying to wake you up and noticed something around your neck, doesn't mean I'm crazy about you. Geez,"

"What?" He asked, but a grin made his way on his face." Does that mean you were watching me?"

"No!" I yelled without hesitation, he didn't flinch, just an amused grin stayed on his face. Probably, the fact that I'm flustered and he caught me, again.

"Aww, I have a stalker." He said happily if it is the cutest thing in the world. I looked at him wide-eyed and started making uncompleted words.

"What?! No, you're out of your mind." I blurted out. I could feel him loosen his grip on me and used the opportunity to pull back and sit up straight. Poor me though, he pulled me back and it looked like I got closer than before. I was getting really annoyed. "Can you stop doing that?"

"If you wanted to admire me, you could have asked." He laughed a little. "I wouldn't mind."

"Idiot! Let go! this isn't an appropriate position," I started panicking, he was way too close. And his touch feels like its burning my skin and not in a bad way, it tingles. And my stomach was feeling weird and I wanted it to stop. Right now. "Let go of me!"

"You're freaking out," He laughed a little, I could almost feel his breath hit my face. " It's kinda cute,"

"Let go," I pleaded while struggling in his grip. "I'm going to get late, he is almost the-"

He flipped me over and I let out a surprised squeak. He leaned closer to my face and my eyes widened in shock. I really wanted to sink into the mattress that moment. Really deep.

"What are you getting late for exactly?" He sounded considerably less playful when he said that. And he was leaning in closer, I had to put my head to the side to prevent, you know. Our faces touching.

"What's with you all of a sudden?" I breathed out. "Could you please back up, you're invading my personal space. Actually, you did that a long time ago."

"I asked first,"

"I asked second."

"You're annoying." I pursed my lips at him and analyzed him. He has way too much energy to be like this, right after waking up.

"You were awake, weren't you?"

"No, I wasn't."

"Really, Ash? " I cocked a brow at him.

"Yeah, really, Serena." He said and I let out a breathy laugh.

"Something funny?" He cocked a brow at me.

"You suck at lying, that is." I laughed.

He didn't say anything after, but his facial expression didn't change a bit. He just shut up and stared at me, which gave the room an uncomfortable silence. Well, this is awkward.

Yet, it gave me an opportunity to flip us over. Not that I wanted that though, but it was better than him all over me. Geez, that sounded wrong. I looked down and tried again to get out of his grip on my hands. I groaned in frustration, he was just staring at me as if this is perfectly normal, well it ISN'T!

"Got anything to say," I huffed as I dropped my hands in defeat." because I'm coming late, it's already 8 AM." His eyes widened and I raised an eyebrow at him.

"Shit," He cursed as he easily tossed me off of him and guess what I landed not on the other side, but on the floor.

"Hé," I yelled but of course I'm being ignored as he just runs out of the room. I sigh as I stood up and rubbed my sore behind.

Then I walked towards the door. If having a sore butt wasn't enough I just had to bump my back against the wall because that idiot runs his way in the room. I groaned as I closed my eyes. But not even a second later I had to open my eyes started. He grabbed my shoulders, looked straight at me.

"Eh?" I exclaimed. He was already changed out of his pyjamas except his shirt was still the same. His gaze was serious but not even a second later he cracked a grin. "How did you-?"

"Thanks for waking me up," That was the only thing he said before pushing me out the room and closing the door behind me.

I blinked twice and realised I was staring at the door. "Um, your welcome?" No response. "I made you some breakfast if you're hungry." No response. "Okay, bye," I said quickly, I was starting to make a conversation with the door instead of him.

I made my way to the front door before I could open it. Yellow was looking up at me. "What?" I asked. Didn't think I'd get a response in reply and it did. He made a sad sound as his ears lowered. I sighed as kneeled down then I reached my hand towards his head. He sniffed my hand and I petted his head. I smiled.

"I got to go," I said softly as I scratched him behind his ear. I saw his tail start to wiggle.

"Don't tell Ash, but he is a bit reckless and weird." I stopped and thought for a second. "Let me take that back, not a bit but a lot." I giggled softly. "So when I'm not here take care of him for me, okay," He barked happily and licked my cheek.

I stood up and whipped his salvia from my cheek. I opened the door as I looked back and saw him looking at me, his tail wiggling behind him. I took a step forward and turned my head only to stop immediately and taking that step back again. Wow,

"Oh sorry," I coughed. Infront of me stood a quite big man, not only in height but also in size.

He was wearing a suit-kind of an old-fashioned-looking suit, almost fully black yet his few of his buttons on top was undone showed he wasn't that kind of a fancy person more like a mafia or so.

I coughed again and shuffled out of the way and walked away. I only had one glance at his face. The man is bold and he wears a pair of glasses. It wasn't much but he looked a little familiar. I shrugged it off.

Ah, who cares.
