-That Morning-
"And i'm sure you'll do fine without your jacket for the day honey" my dad told my mom as she was getting mad at me because i apparently lost her jacket. We could fight like siblings sometimes and it drove me crazy and i even told her to grow up a few times but i guess that's just the joy of having a mother that just got out of her teenage years. "I promise if i find it i'll let you know" i said rushing out of the house before i said something that i'd regret later.

I don't have a car or a bike so i walk. Well, that was until Syd and Stanley pulled up behind me. "Do you need a ride Rach?" Syd asked me and i shook my head yes as stanley nodded at me. "Thank you so much" i said talking to stanley and syd both.

"Are you seriously getting high before school?!" Syd asked stanley as he lit his blunt. "Well. Yeah" he said taking a drag and passing it to me "You smile rachel?" he asked me as i took it from his fingers. "No but there is a first time for everything" i said laughing as he laughed along with me.
-At school- -7:40am-
Once we walked through the doors i was greeted with a cute smile from bradley. "I love your crop top by the way" syd said which made me smile. "Yeah me too" bradley said as he looked me up at down as we walked. I figured i could have a little bit fun with bradley by not letting myself seem too available to him. I don't want him to think he has me so easily.

-At lunch-
"I thought she would know better but yet she doesn't because she's the new girl" I heard Shd say from behind me. I was sitting with bradley today and his friends and the jocks but only because he asked me too. I was gonna sit with syd, dina and stanley but bradley is my company now.
"She'll soon realize" Dina said after syd. "Let's just hope she knows what she's getting herself into" stanley said as he walked off to throw what he had left on his plate away.

-After school-
"So you think i'm going to turn into this petty little girl because i might soon be dating bradley?" i asked syd in the car as stan took us home. "No, not petty just. I just don't want you to turn cold like him" Shd said which didn't make much sense to me because bradley seemed so sweet. "But who knows. Maybe you're the girl that makes the mean little king of the school football player better" stanley said as he pulled up into my driveway. "Well, bye guys" i said smiling as they backed out my driveway. I rolled my eyes knowing that Syd was annoyed with me and the fact that i have to figure out how i'm going to play my cards right with Bradley.
"Welcome home" my dad said as he was flipping through the tv channels "Hi dad" i said putting on a fake smile. "I'm gonna go to my room now" i said as i grabbed a water off the table. Once i got upstairs i immediately put on a hoodie and some sweats because today was the day where all of a sudden i felt the time for me and me only.

My mom was working a late shift tonight. She worked as a waitress during the day and at night she was a "bar tender" but our little secret was that she was only sometimes a stripper but i don't judge. It brings extra money and my dad doesn't know so what he doesn't know won't hurt him i guess. I decided to finally take off my makeup around eight tonight and go to sleep until i realized that at eight i'm not allowed to go to sleep if moms not home because i have to cook dinner for my dad, in which i forgot because i was supposed to do that at seven but he fell asleep anyways but i decided to not be a complete disappointment and made dinner for both of them.
