I was sitting in class bored out of my mind like always and i was new so i had nobody to hang out with and all day i was dreading going to lunch because i didn't want to sit by myself so throughout the hours i planned to just stay in a bathroom stall until lunch was over... just like my last school.

-12:10-
The bell rang for lunch and i darted straight for the restroom until i accidentally bumped into somebody because of how focused i was on my own feet and we both fell. "I am so sorry" i said standing up first to help the girl i just knocked down back up. "It's okay" she said putting on a smile. "umh, i know this is kinda weird but do you want to sit with us at lunch? I know being new is pretty hard and we both went through it" she said pointing at a girl with reddish hair and freckles which smiled really awkwardly at me.

"Uh. Sure. I was so afraid of being alone" i said with a small smile and the girl introduced herself and her friend finally.

"I'm Dina and this is my friend Syd" she said smiling as we all started walking as a side by side trio. "I like y'all a names" i said trying to make small talk because even though it was excruciatingly akward between all of us, i kinda felt comfortable. "So what's your name?" Syd asked me and of course i replied with my name like any normal human being "My name is Rachel Rivvers"

-At lunch-
Once we all sat down Syd immediately started talking about some guy named Stanley Barber that she apparently had sex with and i just listened to her crazy stories of him until she said something that actually caught my attention "And now he's coming over" Syd said rolling her eyes and as i looked over some guy with curly hair started walking our way. "You know. Bradley is such a di-" he said but then stopped talking when he looked at me. "Oh. Hey. You must be new" he said smiling at me as he sat between Syd and Dina across from me. "Yep" i said nodding and smiling back. "So. Guys? Who is Bradley Lewis?" i asked and they all looked so annoyed. "Well, i'm guessing he's not someone everyone loves is he?" I asked and they all said "no" in unison with such monotone voices.

"He's a football player" Stanley said helping me figure out who he was. "I think i know why you are asking us that question" Syd said and Dina's eyes got big and shook her head no. "Well i bet she already knows anyway" Syd said as she smiled at dina and then looked at me.

"So i'm guessing you have heard around that Bradley Lewis has a couple of heart eyes for the new girl. Aka, you Rachel" Syd said crossing her arms. "Yeah, i have heard but i don't even know who he is and it's pretty stressful hearing about a guy who apparently has been talking about me all day and i don't even know what he looks like" i said shrugging. "Oh no no no no no!" Dina said as she got up. "Well. I gotta go as much as i'd love to stay. Sorry!" she said leaving really fast and Syd had this unamused look.

"Shit" Stanley said. "What is it guys?" i asked as i looked behind me. A pretty decently tall guy started walking over with a grin on his face and a letterman jacket. "Is that bradley?" i asked whispering to Syd afraid as she shook her head yes slowly. "Hey little ones" He said sitting right next to me. "So, you must be.... Rachel" he said taking a pause before he said my name to pretend like he was thinking but clearly i knew he already knew my name.

"Mhm hm. Yep. And you must be Bradley Lewis" I said smiling. "Yep" He said smiling back. I could feel this tension like we could kiss but i wasn't about to kiss someone i barely knew. He looked at my lips and back up at my eyes and then i decided to go before i did end up kissing a stranger. "It was nice meeting you Bradley" I said standing up fixing my crop top and jeans. "You too Rach. Oh and please, Just call me brad" he said putting on a smirk and winked at syd. I could tell she was really annoyed. I guess he really knows how to get under her skin.
