Rejection. Ouch.
This was a crime. Bibiana should be thrown in jail. Well, she should be thrown in jail for a lot of things like illegal hacking and whatnot. But this was worse. Okay, it wasn't bad. It was actually for the greater good. To save a life.
"So are you going to come?" Bibiana asked Jefferson. She went back to the shop to pick up her car and decided to try to influence the one other person that could help Stein.
"Like I said, yes. But you know, you didn't have to give me the speech about saving a life and how it could save the world. I had changed my mind either way," Jefferson relied. The two climbed in Bibiana's car and were on their way to S.T.A.R. Labs.
"Well I'm glad you agreed to coming because I was gonna resort to kidnapping at one point," Bibiana stayed nonchalantly. Jefferson gave her a nervous glance. "I'm kidding. If I did that, Barry would've gave me one long speech about how that's wrong."

"I'm really glad you decided to come," Barry told Jefferson. Bibiana leaned against one of the glass walls and listened to the conversation.
"I thought S.T.A.R. Labs had to shut down," Jefferson stated.
"It's under new management," Barry replied.
"Huh. Whoa, what kind of treadmill is that?" Jefferson asked. They let him explore the lab and that meant the discovery of Barry's one of a kind treadmill.
"Cosmic," Cisco replied.
"Cool," Jefferson responded. Bibiana nodded. She stood up straight once Jefferson was back in the cortex. "So, let's get started. You got some kind of "Billion Dollar Man" technology that's gonna fix my knee?"
Bibiana might've lied to Jax at one point in her speech. Or did she? Honestly she couldn't really remember, but she felt bad. Mostly because she gave Barry a heads up that Jefferson was expecting something else.
"Actually, Jax, this isn't about fixing your knee." Barry admitted.
"What are you talking about?" Jax asked. Bibiana glanced around the room innocently.
"I think Stein is going to explain that." Bibiana walked over to her chair and sat down so she could feel less guilty.
"When the Particle Accelerator exploded, the energy wave that collided with you is known as 'dark matter.'" Stein explained.
"And it didn't just hurt your knee," Caitlin elaborated.
"It— it changed the molecular structure of your body." Stein added.
"Whoa, hold on, Grey. So you're saying I'm like one of those meta-humans I keep hearing about on the news?" Jax asked. Being a meta-human isn't that bad. If you stay neutral.
"Yes, I am. Please, call me Professor."
"We think you have potential capabilities," Barry stated.
Bibiana decided to add a little more to that, "capabilities that not only benefit you, but others as well."
"What kind of capabilities?" Jax asked.
"The same as Professor Stein: the ability for your body to process fission and fusion," Caitlin explained.
"And you can harness excess energy and turn it into these massive nuclear blasts," Cisco said with excitement. "And you can fly. There's also that."
"It's all really cool. Especially since you get to team up with these other cool people," Bibiana added. She thinks she was helping their case because who wouldn't want to team up with the Flash and Electric Storm? Well there is a long list of people who wouldn't want to team up with the duo.
"So you're saying you can do all this?" Jax asked.
"Only during times of convergence with a willing partner," Stein answered.
"Convergence? You and me? Is this what you were referring to Bibiana?" Jax asked.
"Yes," Stein and Bibiana responded at the same time. A second passed before Jefferson started to laugh.
"No, this is crazy." Jax was starting to walk off. Not believing what he was hearing.
"No, Jax, this is your chance to right the wrong that was done to you," Barry said.
"Yeah, sorry, you got the wrong guy," Jax told him. "I don't want nothing to do with this."
"Wait a second, we are giving you the chance to be a superhero, and you're gonna say no that quickly?" Caitlin asked.
"Man, Bud, if I were you I would say yes." Bibiana mumbled. She would kill to be a... oh right. Sometimes Bibiana would get caught up in her little comic freak outs that she forgets that she is a superhero.
"Yeah, not my kind of thing," Jax replied.
"If the man isn't willing to participate—," Stein was cut off by Caitlin.
"Look, I saw your test scored, Jax," Caitlin said. "Your grades were good enough to get into college, but you didn't go. Why? Is this the type of guy you are? One setback and you fold? Well, then maybe you're not the guy for us anyway."
Dang Caitlin is going off. Bibiana hasn't seen Caitlin snap like that since... when was the last time she did something dangerous with Barry?
"Well, maybe I'm not," Jax argues back.
"Jack—" Jackson has exit the building. There went Steins only hope of getting better.
"Maybe this just wasn't meant to be," Stein said. Bibiana frowned when Stein left. It seems as if he had lost hope.
"Cait, come on, I mean, Jax could be our last chance at saving Professor Stein," Barry stated.
"He said no to being a superhero. Who does that?" Caitlin asked. "I mean, you didn't say no when you had the chance. Cisco, would you?"
"Chance to have superpowers? Sign me up," Cisco replied.
"Uh, Caitlin..." Bibiana started off. She stood up and joined the group. She remembered her journey to becoming who she was. "It took me a while to become a superhero. And honestly, I only signed up because I admired how Barry was risking his life for other people. It took a lot out of me because it meant that my life really was changing."
"Look, like Bibiana said, becoming a superhero means changing your life. We're asking Jax go change his entire life, to sacrifice what he does have. I mean, that's not a decision that can be made lightly. It took me a long time to figure out this whole hero thing," Barry explained.
Bibiana looked down at her hands to see the sparks that she once hated. The ones that she wanted to get rid of. The ones that she thought of as a curse to ruin her. The sparks that she embraced more than ever. The sparks that are now a symbol of peace and hope.
"Exactly, which is why we need someone who wants to do this," Caitlin argued back. She started to walk out of the cortex.
"Where are you going?" Barry asked.
"To get Hewitt back," Caitlin answered. "We have to try again."
"This can't be good," Bibiana mumbled.

"When will you be back?" Bibiana asked on FaceTime. She sat on her couch talking to her younger brother.
"Probably next week? I'm not really sure," Kai replied. "It's just a small internship over here. It shouldn't take long unless the Arrow decides to send us more bodies."
"I've gotten so used to your annoying ass that now I have no one to annoy me," Bibiana stated.
"Awe you miss me. But I'm glad I'm not there because you annoy me," Kai argued.
"Hush. You know you love me. Oh! Have you started to watch NCIS? I'm like addicted to that show now," Bibiana said.
"Bibiana, you're addicted to every show on Netflix," Kai pointed out.
"And Hulu. But I use Hulu to watch anime and Brooklyn Nine-Nine to be honest," Bibiana admitted.
"Oh I heard that my favorite manga is turning into an anime," Kai said with excitement.
"My Hero Academia?" Bibiana asked.
"Yes, and I have to go." Kai hung up without saying a goodbye. That jerk.
Bibiana shook her head and grabbed the tablet off her coffee table. She was about to open Hewitt's file when there was a breeze of air. Barry sat beside her.
"What are we watching tonight?" Barry asked. It was as if there was never a bump in the road. And Bibiana appreciated that.
"Let's watch Wow! Wow! Wubbzy!"
Barry laughed and agreed to it. Bibiana stayed in the living-room putting on the little kids show on the TV while Barry went in the next room to get a blanket. When he got back, they got comfortable on the couch. They peacefully watched the show, when Bibiana suddenly thought of an important question. She paused the show and looked at Barry.
"What would happen if we had a baby?" Barry looked at her a bit shocked. His face started to go red while he tried to think of an answer. "I mean, what would happen if two metas had a baby? Would it have both powers? One of them? A completely different power? Or none?"
"I-I don't know..." Barry trailed off trying to think what would happen. "This may be a question for Caitlin."
