I remember that day

That day like it was yesterday

Someone's time had come

For sure, he was a young one

But he needed to be taken away

But that day

That day I remember like it was yesterday

Someone stopped me

No, not someone

Something

A greater force

It was something no one had authority over

A power that could not be contained

When I entered

The room fell silent

They all felt something was wrong

That something was about to be changed

And one said gravely,

"He is in the room."

Another said,

"Yes

but another is here as well."

I paid it no mind

No mind that another was here as well

And what a fool I was to do so
