1. The contestant cannot leave of their own accord. They can only be dismissed by the princess.

2. There is no timeline for the Selection--it can last from days to years.

3. The contestant cannot arrange their times with the princess. If in a large setting, this rule does not apply.

4. The contestant cannot fight or sabotage other contestants. If the contestant is found laying their hands on another contestant, causing them stress, stealing from them, or doing anything that might diminish their personal relationship with the princess, the princess will decide whether or not to dismiss them.

5. The contestant can only have a romantic relationship with the princess. If caught in a relationship with someone else, it is considered treason and punishable by death.

6. The contestant cannot eat food or wear clothes not provided to them by the palace.

7. The contestant must be courteous to photographers and reporters, and allow them to see their lifestyle with the princess.

8. If the contestant makes it to the top ten, they will be considered as an Elite, and will be required to learn about the inner workings of the life and obligations they would have as a prince or princess. Until then, the contestant is not permitted to seek out such information.

9. If the contestant wins the Selection, they and their family will become members of the royal family. The contestant will also marry the princess, taking on all rights and the responsibilities of the title they gain.

10. The contestant must be a virgin.

11. If the princess invites the contestant to do something with her, it is advised they shouldn't refuse--regardless if it's dinner, outings, kissing or more.
