Steeljaw could do nothing but stare at the sleeping femme as the sun started to shine through the window behind him. She looked so peaceful, and pretty. Blinking at the sudden thought he shook his head annoyed that he was even thinking of something like that. He has, had a mate and he will always be loyal to her.

Hearing Metalsound groan in her sleep as she rolled over to the other side of the berth, getting too close to the edge for his comfort. Before he could stop her she fell to the ground with a thud. Wincing at the sound he looked to the floor and let out a soft huff of amusement, she was still asleep. Steeljaw looked at her on the floor and shook his head.

:: You'll get stiff if you stay on the floor Milady,:: D gently scolded the Predacon.

With a tired growl Metalsound slowly sat up, 'Mornin', D, Steeljaw,' she yawned.

"Morning," Steeljaw responded.

Snapping her optics open she slowly turned to Steeljaw, "Did...I stay here all night?"

"Yep," he replied looking away from her.

"Sorry, I hope I didn't keep you up all night."

"You didn't."

"Ok. Are you alright, you look tense."

"I'm fine."

With a shrug Metalsound let out another yawn before transforming into her bot form, she hoped that he wouldn't tease her about being scared last night. Yes everyone was afraid of something but she felt silly for being scared of the thunder, I guess it reminds me of that day, she thought to herself.

"Are you alright?"

"I'm fine. What do you say we go on a patrol," she asked wanting to not think about the past.

"Sure."

The two headed outside, Steeljaw nearly loosing his balance thanks to the mud. Holding back a smile Metalsound looked at the forest, limbs had fallen due to the harsh winds.

"That was quite a storm."

"It was, watch your step," she replied as she walked on.

"I will" he said as he picked up a handful of mud, after getting it just right he threw it at her. Feeling something hit her lower back she let out a yep in surprise and turned to Steeljaw.

"What? I didn't do anything," he insisted with an innocent look.

Narrowing her optics she continued on, moving a tree limb out of the way. Steeljaw picked up another glob of mud and threw it at her. Moving to the side Metalsound smirked, "I won't fall for the same trick twice," she smirked as she transformed into her beast form, letting out a playful growl.

"What are you gonna do?" he asked with a hint of a chuckle.

"You'll see," she teased as she casually walked towards him, her tail swaying along the mud.

"Oh no, no your not" he says before he starts running.

"Hey, get back here," she chuckled as she ran after him.

"You'll have to catch me first."

Running through the mud she took to the sky, he still didn't know that she was able to fly. Steeljaw glanced behind him and noticed she wasn't back there, he stopped and looked around, "Where is she?"

Tucking in her wings she landed on top of Steeljaw, sending both of them into the ground, coating them both in mud. Looking at each other they burst into laughter. "You can fly," he asked once they managed to calm down.

"Yep," she gave him a wolfish grin.

"I didn't know that."

"Because you never thought to ask," she replied as she got off of him.

"Cause it didn't occur to me to ask cause Wolf-cons can't fly"

"Well, I'm not a Wolf-con."

"Oh yeah your a predacon, must be a predacon feature"

"It is but I think there are some that can't fly," she replied as she looked to the sky.

"Oh well that figures," he said as he looked up at the sky to see what she was looking at, "What are you looking at?"

"Nothing, I was just thinking about the past," she sighed as she shook herself free of the mud.

"Ok," he said as he shook off the mud as well.

"We should get back to patrol," she walked deeper into the forest.

"Yeah, we should" he said as he followed her.

"If you don't mind me asking how did you get those injuries," she asked as a cool breeze ruffled her fur.

"I got them from fighting Megatronus"

Blinking in confusion Metalsound fell silent as she tried to understand what she was just told. Megatronus was Megatron's name before the war, but why would he be calling himself by his old name? It didn't make sense, unless it was Megatronus the fallen Prime.

Opening her mouth for a second she closed it again as she pondered on the thought. "You mean Megatron," she finally asked.

"No Megatronus, the first Decepticon"

"The Fallen Prime? But I thought he was--," she shook her head trying to understand what he was talking about. "How?"

"He contacted me and asked me to build some device to let him into our dimension or whatever and I did"

"How could he have contacted you if he died who knows how long ago?"

"I don't know, but he contacted me from another realm and had me build a way into this realm"

"Ok," the femme replied slowly with uncertainty. True she was more connected to the earth but she wasn't sure about the whole spirits thing. I may need to check his history of any personality disorders.

"Look, I'm not going crazy, I was talking to him and he wasn't a ghost when he came through the portal!" Steeljaw then growled feeling aggravated."If you don't believe me go ask the Autobots they saw him, they even fought him and he wasn't dead he was as alive and as real as you and me!"

"I'll take your word for it, there's no need to get the Autobot's involved," she sighed as she continued walking.

Steeljaw let out a growl, "One thing I don't like is bots thinking I'm crazy when I'm not" he huffed as he walked on.

"I'm sorry, I asked and I got the answer. It's just hard to believe."

Steeljaw didn't say a word and just kept walking.

I shouldn't have asked, it wasn't any of my business anyway, she thought to herself. Out of habit she sniffed the air and caught a familiar scent, one that wasn't supposed to be there. Coming to a stop she signaled Steeljaw to do the same, slowly she scanned the area. Steeljaw had continued walking but then stopped when he didn't hear her behind him, he looked back at her and saw her looking around, he just rolled his optics and went back to walking.

"Steeljaw stay there," she warned softly.

Steeljaw then stopped again and looked back at her, "What?'

"Stay here," she told him again as she walked ahead of him.

"Where are you going?"

"I want to check something." With that she went deeper into the forest, it wasn't until a few minutes later that she saw the same Decepticon from the other day. However he was just at the border of her territory and he looked scared.

"I thought I told you to stay away," she growled.

"Why don't you come out from the tree," she asked wanting to get a better look at the mech.

"W-why?"

"I'm not going to hurt you this time alright, you don't have anything to worry about," she assured him.

Slowly he came out from behind the tree.
