Chapter Nine: The Bag
No Nights at Team Crafted’s
Chapter Nine:
The Bag
-…-
What else was she going to do? Clara had only left that cold office not long ago, and what she had seen was still stuck in her mind. The picture of that boy she knew as one of Bashur's last friends. The picture of a boy named Tyler whom had just recently gone missing. Now, Clara knew Tyler also worked for Team Crafted Co., as the park's night guard, but she also found the conversation at that particular moment an odd one.
Standing in front of the police office, she found the doors locked and the lights off. Nobody was home, it seemed. Not surprising. When all the police were out, the place was locked up. Now the question, though unimportant, was if they were out on Tyler's missing case or out hanging out at the fire station, because people do that. Not only that, but Clara was reminded about the times she'd catch Bashur mumbling about something about the park, as well as TC co's relationship with the law force. She'd rather not think about it.
-....-
The police had ended their search on the park a few hours later, and Mike and Aviator where still there, walking around the place. The apparently didn't find anything, because if they had, there would be more police there then before. Aviator was in his office, cleaning things up. The police didn't go through his things, since there was no reason to yet. It was one of those things they'd need evidence against Aviator himself to look through.
Mike, however, on his own, had walked to Jason's ride, and was looking for the room he'd talked about with Aviator. He was curious about it, but didn't really know where it was. He walked around the place blindly, until he had finally found himself in a long dark, narrow hallway. It was the last place to look. Walking down it, Mike couldn't help but look over his shoulders a few times.
“Here we go...” Mike whispered to himself when he reached the last door on the hall, a big metal door in fact, with a strange lock on it.
But the lock was indeed locked and Mike couldn't get inside. Not that he expected to be able too, but he wanted to at least find the place for himself. He was drawn to it, for some odd reason. Letting out a sigh, the air cold and his breath visible, he turned so that his back was on the door.
“Hehehe~”
“Eh?!” Mike jumped. “Who's there!?”
Mike turned to look back down the hallway, but there was nothing. He had heard laughing. Children laughing. All of this was getting to his head. His life for the last 4 or so weeks was nothing but an unrealistic hell. Shaking his head, Mike walked back down the hallway, finding his way out of the maze of Jason's ride.
When Mike had finally found his way back to the front of the park, he was surprised to find Aviator talking with a woman by the front gate. He would laugh, but it looked more like an argument. His speed quickened, and he joined the two.
“What's going on?” Mike asked, his hands in his pockets.
“Mike Schmidt, this is Clara.” Aviator was quick to introductions. “Clara was Bashur Green's girlfriend. Clara, this is Mike, Mike is a night guard at the park.”
The woman, Clara nodded her head to Mike, but then looked back at Aviator. Aviator gave Mike a look and Mike was cleared his throat.
“So, what's the problem?” Mike asked.
“Mike.” Aviator sighed. “Clara went to Team Crafted Company not that long ago and witnessed something that could help us save Tyler.”
Mike's eyes widen. “Yeah?”
“Wait wait wait.” Clara shook her head. “So you work for Team Crafted Company, but you didn't know about this?”
“Yeah, we work for them, but other then that, anything they do has nothing else to do with us.” Aviator answered.
“What did she see?” Mike asked, worried.
Clara turned to Mike. “This man, Mister Hwnt, ran in just as I was leaving, talking about some sort of experiment failing. He asked for paperwork and the woman at the front desk handed him papers that looked like information on Tyler.”
Mike stiffened up. “What!?”
Aviator nodded his head. “I think we need to come up with a plan. Hwnt is a sick man and I wouldn't be surprised if it was all his doing.”
“I saw we go now and kick their asses and save the little man!” Mike barked.
“I know you're upset, we all are, but have you ever been to that building?” Aviator crossed his arms. “They've hidden themselves, even when it's easy to find out their location. You go in and it looks like a normal office, but in the back, there is this elevator, and you go down underground and that's where everything is. You get stuck down there and you're fried.”
“We can't just run in there.” Clara sighed.
“You all are kidding right?” Mike was upset. “Experiment failed doesn’t sound alarming to you or anything?”
“I know Hwnt, and running in isn't going to end well for us.” Aviator replied.
“Failed!” Mike shouted. “Tyler could be dead right now! Waiting is doing nothing for justice!”
“W-We could report it.” Clara said.
The two looked at her.
“Okay. Maybe not.” Clara frowned.
Aviator looked down for a moment, then looked back up at Mike.
“I think I’m going to talk to Clara about a plan.” He said.
“I'd rather just go ahead, but it seems not.” Mike rolled his eyes and stepped to the side.
“It seems you don't wanna talk at the moment.” Aviator said, seeing Mike slowly getting more frustrated. “We'll inform you about our plan when he conclude on it.”
“When is that gonna be?” Mike asked, beginning to walk away, towards the parking lot.
“Mike, listen here, okay. Tyler is important to us too and we arn't going to wait hours to jump in. Just, keep your phone with you. Okay?” Aviator glared.
“Got'cha!” Mike shouted back.
“AND DON'T GET INTO ANY TROUBLE!” Aviator shouted back.
“WHATEVER!”
Mike turned around and walked to his car, and Clara turned to Aviator with a worried face. Aviator rolled his eyes and shoved his hands into his pockets.
“Don't worry about him.”
“I'll try not too.”

Shelby and Kyle sat with Tyler's family, having been unable to help in finding Tyler, so turned to help his family emotionally. But they didn't really do much. Them being there probably just reminded the mother and father more of their missing child. Shelby was playing with the siblings and Kyle was sitting in the same room, only Janet was talking to him about things he'd find that disturbing if he was listening.
“Miss?” One of Tyler's siblings sat down on the couch next to Shelby.
“Yes?” Shelby asked, turning to him.
“If You and Kyle are here, then where is Tylar?” He asked. “Momma said Tylar was staying with you guys.”
Shelby paused.
“Well. He's at work at the moment.”
“But it's daytime. He works at night, right?” The boy asked.
Shelby mentally bashed herself.
“His, er, boss gave him a new position.” Shelby explained.
Then the boy's sister tried to climb up on Shelby's lap.
“So that means he'll be back in time for dinner, right?” She asked while struggling to get up.
Shelby helped the girl, sighing. She really hated to lie. Especially to children.
“Y-yeah. Before dinner. Don't worry about him.”
“SOO-” Janet's voice suddenly became louder to Shelby and she turned to listen.
“-OKAY!” Kyle almost shouted. “You know, I never did ask, or at least I don't remember, why are you here anyway!?”
Janet paused and shifted in her chair. “Because, sweetheart, I've got money problems and need a bit of help.”
Kyle rolled his eyes. He was really tired of that woman. “You know, I find it ironic that Tyler goes missing when you came around.”
“Kyle!” Shelby hissed.
“What? It's suspicious! We all know how much he hates her!” Kyle shrugged.
Janet laughed. “You'd think huh? Nah, that boy can't get enough of me.”
“So then what do you think happened to him?” Kyle asked.
Janet sighed. “I think somebody took him. I don't know who but that's that.”
“You'd think with your background somebody connected to you would have taken him?” Shelby hated to ask, but she did.
“Sweetie, dear, I haven’t gotten into any trouble in the last-” Janet paused to think, “-last year or so. Okay!”
“I think that's a lie.” Kyle frowned.
“I've been doing pretty darn well if I do say so myself.” Janet added.
Shelby sighed. She turned to think, only to realize the children had run off while she wasn't paying attention. Sitting back in the couch, she thought back on what Bodil said. In the end, Janet could be a suspect, but honestly what would she get out of it? Sure, she'd get a kick out of scaring the ever living hell outta him, but to scare everyone else in the city was a bit much. If she were to do it, she'd kidnap him during his shift, scare him to death, then set him free again like fishermen do to fish.
“Hey Auntie Janet.” Shelby shook her head and turned back to the two.
“Yeah, what'cha want?” Janet replied .
“I. I have an idea. Or really I thought back to an idea.” Shelby stumbled over words.
“What is it?” Kyle asked.
Shelby took a few long moments to find her words.
“I was thinking back to what Bodil said. I want to say that TC co did it.”
“TC what?” Janet asked.
“TC co. Team Crafted Company.”
“Ohhh. Don't know them.”
Shelby frowned.
“Maybe you should check on Aviator.” Kyle told Shelby. “See if he's gotten any updates.”
Shelby nodded her head. “Okay then.”
Shelby shifted and took her phone out of her pocket. He had Aviator's phone number in there somewhere, though she couldn't really remember if she ever called it. She found it and called Aviator, waiting longer then she'd like for an answer.
“Hello?” She heard Aviator's voice on the other side.
“H-Hello, Mr. Aviator? This is Shelby.” Shelby said.
“O-oh! Shelby! C-can I help you?”
“Maybe. I was just calling to ask if you'd had an update on anything. Anything about Tyler.”
There was a pause.
“Ummm no. We're still on the look out. The police finished investigating the park. I don't think they found much.” Aviator lied.
“Oh. Well.” Shelby frowned and the other two in the room got the message. “Thank you though.”
“I'll update you on anything once we find it out.” Aviator said. “I'm really sorry about all of this.”
Shelby shook her head. “Don't be. It's not your fault. But thank you.”
“Anyway, I'm in the middle of something.” Aviator cleared his throat. “I need to go, but still.”
“I understand.” Shelby said. “Thank you.”
“No problem.”
“Goodbye.”
“Bye.”
Shelby hung up and placed the phone back in her pocket. She looked at Kyle and then at Janet. Nothing in this case was getting anywhere, and Shelby was torn in two because of that.
“Hey, Janet.” Shelby suddenly spoke up.
“What?”
“You think you could locate Team Crafted Co?”
Janet paused, then smiled.
“You think it'll be hard?”
Shelby shook her head. “I don't know, but I can't shake the feeling away.”
Janet got up from her chair and stretched.
“SO!” Janet said, half yawning. “Does this mean we get to use Tyler's computer?” She grinned.
“I don't know his password.” Shelby frowned.
“Um.” Kyle hesitated and the two looked at him.
“Kyle?” Shebly asked.
Kyle wasn't really sure about this.
“What is it boy!?” Janet almost barked, scaring Kyle.
“I Know his password!”
“Of course ya do, now let's get goin'!” Janet chuckled and began to walk back to Tyler's room. Shelby and Kyle were slow to follow.

If they thought Mike was gonna listen to them, they were crazy. Mike was independent, even more so ever since his week at Freddy's. Mike had plans of his own the moment he walked out of the park, and was on his way to Team Crafted Company after doing a bit of a Google search for the location. He was taken by surprise at how the place wasn't very hard to find, but he wasn't going to complain. It was probably because of reasons with the law.
Mike took this to heart, and he had a reason to do so. Tyler was someone he cared about, and if it had been Aviator kidnapped he'd feel the same way. He hadn't had any real close friends for awhile, so really. Besides, he was doing himself good to ease his own building insanity by going out himself. Time had never been an ally to him.
Mike found the place and parked his car, getting out and walking inside. Aviator was right, as the place was quiet and looked like a waiting room. There was sorta a smell, but Mike had smelled worse coming from the animatronics.
“Um-” Mike walked over to the front desk, but found that there was nobody there. He looked around the desk to see the phone had a flashing light. A message. “-Might as well.”
Mike pressed the button and let the message play.
“Hey, Alesa! I need you to do a few things for me. I don't have a lot of time, just check your email. Don't take long, we don't have all day!”
Nothing important, Mike concluded, but it did let Mike get by the front desk without being questioned by anyone.
Mike found a small hallway beside the front desk that went farther into the building. The light was flickering, and there were posters on the wall. He was reminded of Freddy's. There were two doors at the end of the hall, one that was a supply closet full of papers, and one that lead to the elevator that Aviator was talking about.
Taking the elevator, Mike went down the the only other floor that there appeared to be. The underground floor. The elevator was pretty fast, and it wasn't that far down. When he stepped out, he found himself in a white hallway, one that seemed almost sci-fi. There were a few different ways he could go, as the hallway went both left and right and cut off forward into another hallway. But he heard people down the left hallway, so quickly turned to walk down the right hallway.
The hallways were pretty long, and there were a few doors here and there. They all had windows, but when Mike peeked in, all he saw where white rooms. Lonely white rooms. In one or two of them, he saw people. One had a girl with blue/green ponytails, sitting away in the corner of the room, as if she were dead. Some of the windows were red, and he wasn't able to look into them.
Mike's heart nearly froze when he heard voices, closer then he'd like them to be. He was coming up to a corner, and so did what anybody would do and look for the nearest room to hide in, assuming someone was about to turn that corner and see him. There was one just a few feet back, so Mike quickly ran inside it, closing the door as quickly and silently as he could.
Mike waited for the voices to pass and turned around and let out a sigh of relief. He looked around the room, to find it was another small storage room. There were boxes and random things packed all around, and a rolling table-cart thing that Mike had seen in hospitals. On the bottom shelf of it were papers and a half empty cup of coffee. On the top, a bag, and half of it's contents spilled out onto the metal surface.
“Oh my god.” Mike spoke, standing and walking over to the cart, taking a closer look at the bag.
It was Tyler's bag, and it had his phone, his papers, keys, wallet. Everything. This was more then enough evidence to show that it was really Team Crafted Company's fault for everything. Mike grabbed the bag, and started picking up the things that had fallen out and stuffing them back in. But his eyes were caught by the keys. Tyler had a key chain full of normal keys, but then a key all on it's own that was different from the others. It stood out. It drew Mike in.
“Aviator did say Tyler had the key to that room...” Mike said to himself.
Then there was a sound. A small sound, but a sound familiar to Mike's ears. A sound of something, and not just something, but a camera, moving.
“OH SHIT!” Mike gasped, looking up to see that there was a security camera, turning to look straight at him. How dumb could he be?!
Mike put the bag over his head, wearing it, and held the key in his hand tightly. He flew out the door, and raced back down the hallway. He didn't hear anybody for awhile, but it was when he was passing the doors with the creepy white rooms that he began to hear others running.
“Who is he!?” Mike heard.
“Get him!”
Mike made it to the elevator before anybody else, and got inside and shut the door just before someone else could stop him. He spammed the ground floor button, and after what felt like forever, the doors opened, and the light from the windows on the other side of the place could be seen. Mike sprinted out, nearly running into a woman with red hair walking in, towards the front desk. He didn't care, he was almost out.
And he made it. What luck he had.
Mike got to his car and drove away. With him, Tyler's bag, and with him, the key to the room in Jason's ride.
