All of the tributes were taken to a mansion, where they will reside for the time being. They will stay on the floor of their number. Team one, floor one. Team two, floor two. They will be given the time to create alliances, and learn weaknesses.

Soon they all crowd into the living room. Violet was missing however, because she had to visit the hospital along with three other members of that train.

Kaitlin, Zoey, Dylan, Sarah, and Val were in the kitchen. Sapphire, Chloe, and Lacey were all comparing clothes. Miranda, Silas, Haleigh, Hugo, Riley, Faith, Serena, Tucker, Addison, and both Holly's were all talking about alliances. And Hannah was in the corner freaking out, while Matthew and Johnothan were trying to calm her down. Clare was sitting down, just watching everyone.

After a while, Violet came through the door, with a look that would make Hades run for cover. "If anybody even thinks about teaming up on me, then I hope you can run faster than your friends," she states, and sits down on the couch like nothing had happened.

Chloe went and sat across from her, "Hey, I'm Chloe."
Violet looked at her, not revealing anything, "And I'm not caring."
Chloe frowns. "So you just want to go into the arena alone?"
"What's it to you?"
"You have spunk. I like that."
"That's nice."
Chloe huffed, "So you want to die? Fine. But don't come crawling back to me."
"Don't worry. I won't be."
Chloe walks off, leaving Violet in peace again.

Everyone in the kitchen were stuffing their faces, except for Zoey and Dylan, who were stealing all the tomatoes.
"Hey, guys, can anybody help me find the sprinkles??" Kaitlin asked, opening all of the cabinets.
"Oh... Sorry..." Sarah replied, dropping a couple out of her mouth.
"I hope nobody wanted these," Val says, holding a cookie jar.
"Ggahhh!!" Kaitlin yells, getting the ice cream. "Fine!"

Miranda looked at the group, "So, we all need a group... How should we decide?"
"I think," Faith responds, "We should just say about ourselves, and see who gets along with who."
"And what if that goes wrong?" Hugo asks.
"Then we figure it out, stupid," Tucker snaps. Hugo glares at him.
"I know one person that's on my list to kill..." Hugo mutters.
"Hey, be nice you two!" Faith exclaims.
"Yeah, Hugo!" Haleigh says, looking at Faith, "And you can't tell my brother what to do, even if you're right!"
"HEY!" Addison yells, "I've been in these stinking things before. You do NOT want anyone to be mad at you. Believe me."
"I can back her up on that," Silas follows.
"We should just calm down. Now, I'm smart, a witch, and knows how to deal with heavy eaters," Riley says.
Miranda takes a breath, "I'm Miranda. I can control Darkness and Destiny, and I'm Holly's adoptive sister."
"I'm Holly, Miranda's sister, and I control Life and Light."
"Addison. Daughter of Apollo. Heal with touch, pretty good singer, and can use a bow."
"Tucker. Son of Apollo. Amazing with herbs and medicine, great archer."
"Faith. Daughter of Aphrodite, and have Charmspeak. Good with sword, and pretty good with bow."
"I'm Serena, and I have no training whatsoever. Buutttt I'm GORGEOUS!! Oh, and I can use an axe."
"Hi guys, I'm Haleigh. I'm a witch, and I'm more of a brains person."
"Silas. I'm a wizard, but grew up with children of Apollo. Good defense."
"Hugo, also a wizard, pretty good at magic. Brother of Haleigh."
"I'm Holly Scorell, and I'm down to earth. Can blind people with a camera. And I am pretty good with cleavers."
"Good. Now. I wanna chat with both Holly's and Hugo," Haleigh says, walking into the den.
They all follow, and Riley looks at the group. "I had better go check on Kaitlin."
"Hey, Silas, Miranda, can we chat too?" Addison asks, motioning to the stairs. They shrug and follow.
"Come on Tucker, I don't think anyone here suits us," Faith says, and wanders into the kitchen.
Serena pulled a "Bruh" face, and went to sit on the couch with Violet.

Holly S. led the group into the den. "So, what cha wanna know?"
"If we have an alliance, I'm the leader," Holly states.
"There are no leaders in-" Holly S. started.
Haleigh cut her off, "Hey, let's not start fighting already. So, Holly, what did you mean by light and life?"
"I mean I can raise the dead, and make things lighter."
"How long does it take to raise dead?"
"Um... Ten minutes maybe?"
Haleigh sighed. "Alright. Other Holly, any special powers?"
"Besides sarcasm, no."
"Okayyy, well, me and Hugo are magical, so..."
Hugo took that as his cue. "So that means we would be the leaders."
Holly glared, but gave in.
"So alliance?"
"Done."

Silas, Miranda, and Addison went to the second floor, and sat down. Addison started.
"Miranda, you probably know me and Silas have been in these things before, and I think you would be a reliable team member."
"We can offer you protection, and Addison has a huge healing ability!"
"Instantly. But I can't help with natural causes..."
"Woah woah wait," Miranda replied, "You guys want me on your team?"
"Of course!" Silas says.
"Okay... Well I'll tell you my powers. I can change Destiny, and control darkness. The only problem is that Holly can rival my darkness..."
"It's fine. I'm glad to have recruited you," Silas says.

Riley went into the kitchen, to see Kaitlin and some other girls fighting over food.
"It was mine first!"
"No, mine!"
"MINEEE!!"
"HEY!!" She yelled, getting their attention.
"Riley!" Kaitlin yells back, "Tell them it's my cookie cake!"
"MINE!"
"Um... Kaitlin, why don't you just get some potatoes. Hi guys, I'm Riley, Kaitlin's good friend."
"I'm Sarah!"
"Zoey"
"Dylan"
"Call me Val!"
"Hello everyone," Riley smiles. "Kaitlin, can I talk to you?"
"Only if Val can come!! I want her in an alliance, cause she's awesome!"
Riley sighs. "Alright. Come on, let's go check out our room."

Faith and Tucker go into the kitchen, just as Riley and two other girls leave.
"Hey guys, what's up?"
"Nothing much. Want to help me eat this cake?" A girl with blonde hair asked.
Faith grinned. "No thanks, but would you wanna join an alliance with me and Tucker?"
"Sure!" She smiles, and takes another bite of cake.

Serena looks at Violet. "Hey, you alright?"
"Why wouldn't I be?"
"I don't know. Heard you were at the hospital."
"Yeah, so?"
"I don't know... You gotta be pretty tough to get in and out of that so quick. Maybe wanna team?"
"Nope. Already with Chloe."
"Oh... Okay, bye then..."

Hannah finally calmed down, and went back to her room after talking a bit. By the nights end, everyone had an alliance, except for Clare and Sapphire.
