Snow, heavy sheets of snow fell from the sky landing everywhere within the vastness of the mountain region. It cover up the mountain valley completely like a huge blanket. Large picks of ice sheets encase the mountain too making it all slippery and hazardous even though dangerous it would be, it's also a beautiful sight to behold and take pictures of the wonderful parts of nature the planet has to offer

Nothing to disturb this beautiful and lovely scenery.

The ground began to rumble all of a sudden with cracks forming in the mountains and breaking off the ice and snow sheets sending them tumbling down the mountain. As the ground began to shake violent for a few more seconds, it began to open up wide allowing for a humongous triangular dark blue battle/airship to rise out from the depths of the darkness.

Even several other big triangular dark blue battle/airships arise from the depths of darkness too before the mountain close itself up completely ruining the once beautiful scenery of the mountain valley. The ships weren't big like the humongous one but large enough to carry an invasion force.

Just who would do such a thing is beyond the imagination.

As the airships rise up high into the air, some number of other airships appear out of nowhere like they were waiting for the big triangular ships to appear from the ground. The rest of the fleet had been waiting for the Flagship to arrive and with everything all set and ready, the whole fleet begins to proceed to its destination while disappearing again with the triangular ships this time into the vast blizzard.

-in the command room-

"Cloaking field is active Lord Metal" a Egg Pawn said.

"Is the cloaking device hidden away too so it isn't detected on any Satellites floating in space above the planets atmosphere" Metal asked

"Everything all check out sir, we haven't been detected"

More air came out of his ventilations while placing both robotic hands on the window and laying his head up against it.

"Good, very good, the Doctors cloaking technology was a success after all, with that type of advantage we can travel undetected in the world along with Jamming satellites too"

He wish he could thank his 'predecessor' but he could never forgive 'him' for being the softie his predecessor was. Such a wasted amount of potential for a genius to build massive robot armies only to overlook the simplest of flaws in a design that allowed a certain blue hedgehog to destroy them completely.

"Well Doctor, the technology you've hidden in the vault here in the mountain region of Mobius proved to be useful after all, such a waste you never got around to using it"

Leaning his head back, he turns to face MT who finish checking the cloaking system to make sure it was all right.

"How long till we arrive to Central City" he asked going over to some built-in large table with him seeing the robotic fox push a button as a holographic panel map appear on the screen.

The Holographic map showed buildings of what appears to be there destination of Central City

"In about Six hours sir" MT said

Placing both robotic claws on the table, Metal stares directly within the holographic buildings. Just seeing those large buildings made the fuel for victory burn inside him giving him more motivation than ever to secure victory against there enemies.

"Once we get there, we launch a full invasion of the city immediately, I want the Master Emerald and Seven Chaos Emeralds location as soon as possible, where there's Emeralds, that 'blue nuisance' shall follow and be there..."

Soon very soon, Victory will be his.

-meanwhile-

It shouldn't be this hard right, just another day to get over with, right? But the real question was ,why him? Just why did it have to him for Chaos sake?

He facepalms himself taking another sip of his coffee in the kitchen while eating a donut, munching it down his mouth.

"You shouldn't eat that many donuts, you'll gain too much" a robotic monotone voice said next to him at the table.

Glancing over at his robotic teammate sitting at the table with him, he let out a sigh finishing the donut, taking a sip of his coffee mug that said 'I'm the Coolest' and lets out a sigh setting the mug down.

"I'm contemplated how my day will turn out Omega, for all other reasons I don't understand why we have to go" a black and red hedgehog said to the robot named Omega.

"Memory banks confirm, you agreed to go too Ms. Rose wedding"

He sighs facepalming himself, just why him out of all places did he agree to do this. Man, hopefully the wedding will be over as quickly as possible then they can get to the reception where he won't have to be bother for the rest of the day.

"Yes I agreed but I don't understand why I have to be the guest greeter, check which guests are on the lists and show them to the main room"

"Memory banks confirm, that you Shadow agreed to do this after the pestering of Sonic"

He crunch a donut hard in his mouth just hearing that name, Sonic. Oh he hasn't forgotten that day when Sonic annoyed him the entire day to be the guest greeter which resulted in him literally throwing Sonic out a window after agreeing to check which guests were invited to the wedding.

"That faker better not bother me or I swear I'm gonna break his legs"

"Suggestion noted, might be better to avoid that or face Ms. Rose wrath.

The Ultimate lifeform finish drinking his coffee and sets it aside eating another donut.

"I'm well aware of that Omega"

-meanwhile-

The buzzing sound certainly was getting on the crocodile nerves. Ugh they should've taken his car instead of a taxi but no, the darn thing just had to break down in the middle of the driveway.

"Espio, how much longer till we reach the destination" the crocodile said to a chameleon sitting in the backseat with him and a bee.

"About ten more minutes" the purple chameleon named Espio said sighing in frustration as he looked over at a bee sitting between the two of them.

What a day this was going to be. Just wouldn't be long though hopefully.

She's so happy, her dream has finally become reality. In just several hours her wonderful wedding will begin and she'll be married to the worlds famous hedgehog whose save the world so many times from Dr. Eggman.

"This is gonna be the best day of my life" she said in joyfulness "and the best part is, it'll be broadcast live around the whole world, oh I'm so excited"

Yes it would be a wonderful day for her, if only she knew what's coming.

"You ready for this Sonic" a two-tail fox asked his friend whose like a big brother to him, one he looked up too as a hero over the years.

The blue hedgehog named Sonic whirl around with his usual trademark grin and went over to Tails ruffling his buddy hair.

"Sure am little buddy, I just hope nothing goes wrong at this wedding, Amy wants it all to be perfect"

Tails place a hand on Sonic shoulder patting it gently  assuring him everything will be okay.

"Don't worry Sonic, I'm sure with the extra security G.U.N provided, everything will be alright"

"Yeah...right"

He definitely wasn't looking forward to the bill, but it was all for Amy and he really wants her to be happy. Today would be the greatest moments of there life.

If only the blue hedgehog knew what was about too happen pretty soon.

Some hours pass as everyone's getting final preparations ready for the greatest wedding on Mobius. And for Shadow, he's thankful that he didn't need to take part in walking down the aisle to be up front.

Taking part in the photo shoots and the greetings were bad enough but walking up the Aisle would've definitely been too much for the Ultimate lifeform. He didn't need all the attention unlike a certain blue hedgehog.

Looking around while leaning up against a tree on a hill he could see G.U.N Soldiers doing patrols around the perimeter in one or two soldiers.

"Damn you Sonic, asking G.U.N for resources to provide security on a wedding day, Chaos I will be SO GLAD, when this day is over"

He looked around for a moment then at the bottom of the hill where there's a large garden that had lots of folding chairs decorated in rows for the wedding guests to sit on. He even notice a large roll up red carpet leading to an altar that house a large big green Diamond shape Emerald and seven other smaller shape diamonds Emeralds. Plus, as a added bonus there was clear blue clean water surrounding the altar as well.

"The Master Emerald and Seven Chaos Emeralds all together in one place with a replica shrine to house'em in the days of old during the Echidna Era...I just wonder how Sonic got Knuckles to let him borrow his precious emerald for the day"

He look around some more seeing the Garden was next to some building that was like a mansion of sort but that didn't interest him too much. All he wants is for this day to be over with and he can get back to his regular life.

A loud bell is heard throughout the large signaling that it's time for the wedding to begin.

"Finally, lets get this over with" Shadow sighs proceeding down the hill and adjusting his suit he wore trying to make himself look nice and not be a slob.

"Charmy calm down, you can have some cake AFTER the reception" Vector stated carrying the bee away from the building

"But I want cake Vector, please just one"

Espio sighs facepalming himself while the three detectives took there seats and Vector sets Charmy down in his seat while tying him up so he doesn't fly off.

"NO FAIR" Charmy yelled wiggling to get free but gave up after a minute.

With that out of the way, things can go smoothly for the wedding right?

The ninja detective looks up to see Aerial G.U.N drones hovering in the air as humans and mobians alike getting ready to take there seats. He scan his eyes around and notice many humans and mobians that looked familiar, he didn't actual know them personally, but has heard of them.

"Huh, Celebrities, famous people...huh, did Sonic invite these people...or was it Amy, geeze I just know this wedding gonna be broadcast live around the planet since Those Aerial drones have cameras...should've had a private wedding instead Sonic but...he really wants to make Amy very happy and have the best wedding of her life"

He notice Shadow out of the corner of his eyes walking towards them, wearing a suit and all since they need to be looking nice for the wedding.

Taking his seat next to the chameleon, Shadow let out a grunt and cross his arms sighing.

"Omega and Rouge not with you?" Espio ask not looking at the ultimate lifeform.

"Omega providing extra security outside, Rouge is helping Amy finish up and G.U.N agents are helping provide security around the place" Shadow said sighing abit.

"Why G.U.N?"

"Just a little something in return as Sonic save the world so many times"

"That's quite true but I call it an overkill for them to send some Agents to provide security for just a wedding"

"They have a back-up team of G.U.N Soldiers just in case something happens"

Hearing that from Shadow definitely is an overkill.

"Well it's Sonic and Amy moment today, let them worry about the bill" Espio added

"That we can agree on Espio" Shadow nods as music begins to play signaling the start of the wedding beginning as humans and mobians turn towards the direction of where the ones taking part of the traditional wedding start walking down the isle since the blue hedgehog and a penguin like pastor were already up at the altar waiting for the attendees to arrive.

As the wedding was starting G.U.N aerial drones outfitted with cameras begin to broadcast the live feed around Mobius for all to see this special moment where two heroes will have there special day together...if only they knew what's about to happen.

A small little mechanical flybot manage to attach itself to one of the Aerial drones and begin to hack its way inside to deliver live feed to the flagship enroute to its destination. Just another half hour and they'll be finally be there.

"Lord Metal, we have confirmed visual of the Master Emerald and the Seven Chaos Emeralds in the vicinity" an egg pawn report only to hear footsteps approach from behind and push the Eggpawn out of the way.

Placing his sharp metallic hands on the console, he looks directly at the camera feed on the screen along with the data readings giving positive confirmation that all the emeralds were there.

"At last, the emeralds are all ther-!"

He saw the screen switch to a familiar blue hedgehog looking at the camera giving off his trademark grin. Just seeing that really infuriated Metal but at the same time it brought motivation as well.

"Sonic, soon very soon, everything will end"

Raising his fist, he brings it down onto the console smashing it to the floor and rips the wires out tossing them to the side.

"Unit 23168, is MT in position along with the cloak gunship?"

"In position and waiting for your command"

"Excellent, I shall be in the briefing room" Metal said walking out of the command room.

"Quantum technology along with Holographic technology definitely is useful for the empire"

"No, No, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO-.."

The scream drown as something is shredded to pieces and Red liquid is splatter amongst the windows and wall as a victim was taken away into the shredder floor below.

Breathing is heard coming from the only living victim to survive the sick twist game, their life is spare.

A loud buzz is heard and the shredded floor is seal up by another concrete floor closing up to hide away it's true potential.

The only surviving victim chains were release and drop to the floor while the sound of sobbing are heard on the other side of the chain link fence.

"Why, just why?" the female voice sobs in corner.

Her eyes open up from behind her mask and she looks around to see she had fallen asleep in one of the dropships being prepped and ready for battle.

"Just a dream" she sighs in relief.

It's been such a burden for her ever since of what 'they've been through, it's not like she had a choice at that time but...that's all in the past now.

"Sleeping again?" A voice startle her and she looks at one of the openings of the dropship she's in to see the Mask Jackal Infinite hovering in the air and gently land in front of her.

"I just need some shut eye before the operation begins" she replied while getting up and brushes herself off.

She glances up and saw Infinite place a glove hand on her shoulder gently patting it.

"Same dream? cause I heard you screaming in your sleep as I came to find you"

Her eyes glance down at the Phantom Ruby attach to his chest and place her glove hand on it gently rubbing it in a circular motion. That...definitely surprise her, he would come searching for her to check in on her well-being.

"Y-Yes, same dream.."

The Mask Jackal moves his hand from her shoulder to her own glove hand on his phantom Ruby.

"We survived...and I'm sorry...you lost your best friend.."

"Don't need to apologize...I-it was my choice at the start...and I-I couldn't do anything to save her I-it was a game o-of c-chance and all I-I could do was pull the lever a-and watch...the wheel s-spin..."

She try's to hold back her tears but the dream and talking to infinite about it, since they're the only two survivors, brought back the memories she experience.

She felt arms wrap around her hips and is pulled into a comforting tight hug by the mask Jackal. She couldn't take it anymore and begins sobbing away burying her mask into Infinite shoulder as tears flow down her face from behind her mask.

"There there Lass, let it all out" he said patting her back and rubs it as well in a circular motion letting her know it's all just a dream and all that happen before is in the past.

The time has come at long last, the stage was set, the green light is given.

Time to crash a wedding and nothing will stop'em. The two tail-robotic uncloak itself and begins proceeding towards the isle, starting to get some attention from a few of the guests as he pass them.

"If anyone has anything to say, speak now or forever hold your peace" the penguin pastor said to the audience.

"I have an Objection" MT stated getting the attention of everyone in the crowd and even seeing a shock expression on his two-tail organic counterpart but kept his focus on the blue hedgehog.

The very main threat, to their plans. Time too tie up the final loose end.

Shadow and even Espio were surprised to see some kind of two-tail fox robot appear out of nowhere and intrude on a wedding day.

Vector himself looks over in surprise too after adjusting his suit too much that it's all mess up and grass plus some dirt cover up his face abit, all thanks to Charmy, since he need to look all nice as Ms. Vanilla was sitting next to Vector.

"Yes everyone, you must be very surprise to see a robot like me appear at a wedding" MT said scanning at the people in the audience.

He got images and backround checks on what kind of human and mobians were in the audience. It didn't surprise him.

"Lots of highly powerful people within the United federation and celebrities attending this wedding, my theory's right even the elite and famous people are fans of the blue nuisance, after today he'll be nothing but history"

Direction his attention back at the blue hedgehog, he points at Sonic, glaring at him with determination.

"Sonic, it's finally nice to meet you face to face though I suppose this might be the only meeting we'll ever see of each other"

He could see the annoyance on the blue hedgehog face and the pink hedgehog glaring at him. How dare this robot interrupt their wedding, was Eggman up to his old tricks again?

"Look rust bucket, I don't know why you are here but if Dr. Eggman sent you, your making a big mistake" Sonic said letting go of Amy hands and walks to the bottom step to once again face another of the Doctors creations.

It also surprised him to see this robot, that look like his little brother Tails, is able to speak as well. But no matter, he'll make quick work of this bucket of bolts, at least it'll bring a little entertainment to the crowd.

"Oh don't worry Sonic," MT said putting one of his Robotic hands behind his back as a patch opens up from behind, he could see Sonic get into a fighting stance staying on guard and in the audience some people were taking out there phones to record such an event taking place perhaps they're hoping for a battle to happen "we'll give all these people the battle to end all battles...and as for you my two tail counterpart we'll fight pretty soon" he said looking over at Tails.

Tails gets a little surprise to see the robot duplicate of him mention him.

"Just...someone would like to talk with you first Sonic" MT said looking back at the blue hedgehog while taking out a small silver ball from behind and presses a button on the ball as it glows, hovering in the air.

Shadow, Espio and even Vector were on guard too staying hidden in the audience ready to make a move. None of them even notice Charmy getting free from his ropes and sneaks off to the building for some cake.

Everyone kept there focus on MT as he push a few buttons on a holographic panel on his arm wrist. The hovering ball starts to float towards Sonic as static is shown crackling from the ball.

Sonic kept his eye on the ball getting closer until it began to materialize into a figure that look like a hedgehog but it had red optical eyes and showing familiar blue Armor. It's someone he knew all too well.

"Metal?" Sonic stated in surprise

"Sonic" Metal finish the two word sentence

At last, two enemies meet once again but this time it'll be under different circumstances.
