I shot up straight, wincing at the sharp pain in my arm and the feeling of something wet running down my arm. I looked to my left and saw that I had ripped out a needle and blood was trickling down. I was in a hospital room, was I back home? What happened after I passed out?

"Damn it." I whined and fell back on the bed, all I remember was Deidara blowing a hole in my chest, Yamato and Lee found me, I was rushed to Shizune and Kakashi giving me blood.

"Kakashi!" I yelled sitting straight up again, I screamed in pain clutching my chest. Lady Tsunade rushed in the room and laid me back down on the bed, lifting it up so I can sit up.

"Damn it Y/N! You opened you're wound again." She quickly pulled some gauze and bandages out of the drawer next to my bed and cut the old bloody ones off. Leaving me bare chested, and almost as naked as the day I was born.

"Y/N, if you don't mind, can Master Jiraiya come take a look at your wound?" My face heated up as I stared at her wide eyed.

"Umm.. w-why?" I asked wincing in pain as she cleaned up the wound.

"We want to talk to you about some things but he needs to see the wound."

I bit my lip and nodded my head. She covered the bottom half of my breasts an my nipples so Jiraiya won't see everything. The perv.

Lady Tsunade opened my room window  curtain and knocked twice, Jiraiya appeared and smiled at me as he opened the window.

"Long time no see Y/N." He said stepping in the room.

"It sure has been a while huh Master Jiraiya?" I have him a shy smile hugging my arms around my body.

"I heard you took a bomb to the chest and survived?" He stepped next to me and looked at the still gaping hole in my chest. I blushed a deep red and looked away from his face.

"Well it's not like I asked for him to blow me up."

"Hmm." He he reached to touch it but stopped when my hospital room door burst open and Kakashi and Yamato stood in the doorway, flowers in their hands.

"Uh Master Jiraiya, just what do you think you are doing?" Kakashi asked irritation in his voice at another man, not only looking at my half bare breasts but going to touch my wound.

"Inspecting her wound." Jiraiya touched  the edge of it an I hissed in pain closing my eyes.

"That's still tender ya know?!" I hissed and almost punched him in his head. Kakashi rushed to my side Yamato standing back.

"How damaged was her heart?" Jiraiya looked at Tsunade, she sighed looking at my chest.

"Shizune said she didn't understand how Y/N was even awake when she was healing her."

"Yamato, when you found Y/N was she awake?"

"Y-yeah. She was sitting on the ground. Just waiting. Her body was really cold though."

They all turned to me, their eyes all on my wound.

"Can everyone stop staring at my chest now?" I blushed and pulled my cover up. Kakashi quickly wrapped bandages around the rest of my torso and stood next to me again.

"So how did you manage to not only stay awake, but survive?" Jiraiya had this look on his face, I couldn't place it but it seems like he didn't believe my story.

"Like I told the others, after Deidara stuck the bomb to my chest and it exploded, I just, I don't know? Didn't want to die? Tobi said they couldn't kill me because their boss needed me. Who that is, I don't know. But as Deidara went to grab me, I did the forbidden blood Jutsu."

Jiraiya and Lady Tsunade shared a knowing look.

"And then what?"

"Tobi passed out from the poison gas I let out of my body and Deidara flew them way on a clay bird."

Again Lady Tsunade and Jiraiya shared a look.

"Y/N, the reason you survived was because your heart, was encased in Ice. Your blood was frozen solid in your veins when you reached Shizune."

I stared eyes wide at the foot of my bed., How is that possible? I didn't even think about my heart when the bomb exploded, so how could I protect it?

"What did you do after you went to find Yamato and Lee?"

I didn't answer her right away. I was still hung up on my heart not suffering any damage.

"Y/N?" Kakashi asked touching my shoulder, I jumped and quickly looked at him, he held his hands up and gave me a worried look.

"I-I just focused my chakra on slowly my blood flow, to try and not lose so much blood. You're saying I froze my own blood?"

"Yes. That's exactly what I'm saying."

"Y/N, I'd like to do some training with you. Put your body to the test with injuries." I stared at Jiraiya like he was crazy.

"You want purposely put my body through hell and fatal wounds to test my abilities?"

He nodded his head.

"No! That's absurd! You could kill her." Kakashi yelled defensively.

"She could also have just made a new medical Jutsu that could save thousands, all without even knowing it."

Kakashi's fists clenched to his sides,

"Kakashi, Yamato my office now. You have a new mission." Lady Tsunade stomped her way to the door, turning to make sure the two men were following her, Kakashi gave my hand a squeeze and Yamato patted my leg and they left, closing the door with a soft click.

"Look, I know this all sounds crazy, but If you can prefect freezing blood than you can teach many medical shinobi and can save many lives."

I chewed on my lip, and made up my mind.

"Okay, let's do it. I'll go train with you when my wound heals."

"That's my girl." Jiraiya smiled and crawled back out the window.

"I'll be back in a few days." And then he was gone.

An hour later Kakashi came back and sat on the edge of the hospital bed, he didn't look at me, he only started at the floor.

"Kakashi? Everythinf okay?" I asked leaning over. I grabbed his arm and pulled him down on top of me, his head laying on my stomach, he wrapped his arms around my waist and hugged me tightly. I playing with the sliver locks on the back of his head and waited for him to speak.

"I don't like the idea of you training with Jiraiya." He said, face buried on my stomach.

I laughed, "I know he's a perv and all-"

"That's not why Y/N. He wants to bring you back to the brink of death, just for a Jutsu you may or may not perfect."

I felt a little offended that he had some doubt that I couldn't do this., I furrowed my brows,

"I can do this. I can prefect the Jutsu and if there ever was another Great Ninja War, and I taught all the medics this, then less people would die on the battlefield."

I sighed and hugged him to my body.

"Look, I'll be okay. Master Jiraiya wouldn't actually let me die, you know that." He didn't say anything, he sat up, pulled down his mask, and sat in my lap cupping my face in his hands and leaned down passionately kissing my lips. I sighed into our kiss holding onto his wrists like he might float away from me if I let go. We pulled apart and he placed.his forehead on mine.

"I have to go locate Sasuke with Naruto and the others. I don't know how long I'll be gone, but I'll be back as soon as I can, okay?" His voice was low, I could tell he didn't want to go, he wanted to stay here with me.

"Okay. Be careful." He went to get up but I stopped him by grabbing his right hand, he looked at me and smiled as I took off his glove and put two fingers on the top of his middle finger, and a seal appeared. I touched my own middle finger and made the same seal.

"Eternal Stitching Seal Jutsu." A bolt of electricity shot through my body and I felt undying love pour into my veins. This is Kakashi's chakra, these are his feelings.

"We will forever be bonded together through this seal. That surge of power you feel, is my chakra, those feelings are mine. This seal will never break unless one of us dies."

The look in Kakashi's eye made my heart swell in my chest, the amount of devotion, and love clear as day. He leaned down again capturing me into a heated kiss, I swore I felt a tear touch me cheek.

"I love you. I love you. I love you." Kakashi said between kisses.

"I love you too. Now go, you have a mission." He let go of my hand, putting his glove back on and walked out of the room. I sigh happily and closed my eyes, letting my mind wanders until I fell asleep.
