"Sesnei?" A small voice called lightly shaking me awake, I opened one eye and saw Naruto leaned over me, it was still kinda dark outside when I looked out the living room window. And it was kinda chilly in here, the fire had died out not long ago.

"Naruto? What's wrong?" I asked slowly sitting up, my own breath visible.

"It's really cold and I don't know where to get more firewood." He was tightly holding on to his arms as he shivered.

"Sorry, it's out back, hang on and I'll go with you." I slid out of bed, careful not to wake Kakashi or the others and slipped on my shoes. I lead Naruto to the backdoor and opened it, we each grabbed an armful of wood and brought it back inside, closing the door behind us. We piled some wood in the fireplace and lit it ablaze. The warmth quickly spreading throughout the room, I could see everyone physically relax as they warmed up.

Me and Naruto sat in front of the fire, blankets wrapped around us, "Hey Sensei.. can I ask you something?" Naruto's voice was soft, and held sorrow.

"Sure kid."

He shifted around for a bit, staring deep into the fire before he spoke, "D-did you know that pervy sage was going to go on that mission..?"

I sighed, I knew this would come up. "Yes and no. Yes I knew of the mission when we left the Leaf. No I didn't know he was going to confront them. I had my suspicions, so I placed a chakra seal on him. It would let me know if he used any chakra whatsoever."

I held my blanket tighter to my body, "But even after I felt him use his chakra I couldn't sense him, I ran around trying to find him, but when I did, it was already too late."

Naruto was quiet for a while, but he sighed and leaned his head on my shoulder, "Thanks Sesnei." I placed my head on his and closed my eyes, "For what Naruto?"

"For not giving up, and leaving me too."

I felt a pang in my heart, "By the way, I met my dad when I was in my nine tails form."

My body tensed up and started to shake,

"He said that he's proud of you, and that you've really grown up, and that you are doing a great job watching out for me."

Tears stung my eyes at his words, Minato was proud of me, he wasn't mad that I left, maybe that means he understood why I had to leave. I sniffled and pulled Naruto closer, "Thanks Kid."

We stayed like that until morning came, everyone slowly waking up one after the other.

"Good morning." Kakashi said kissing the top of my head.

"Morning." I noticed him and Yamato share this look, kind of like they were happy about something, but also they looked on edge.

Naruto's stomach growled loudly, "Well I'm hungry! So what do you eat around here? There's no animals, or crops so-"

"There's always fish Naruto." I laughed and stood up putting my shoes on.

"Can we come too?" Sakura asked a smile plastered on her face.

"I would hope so." She quickly clamored to her feet and shoved her feet in her shoes, everyone doing the same and we left my old home. I walked them to the old fishing but we had and handed them each a fishing pole and chunks of frozen meat that I had to bring last time.

I lead them to the frozen lake that we always used for fishing and training.

"Whoa! It's so pretty!" Sakura has said everything was pretty since she got here, "Yep, well Sakura do you mind punching holes through the ice so we can fish?"

"Sure!" He chakra formed around her hand and she reared back and punched a hole through the ice, she did this 6 times untill we each had a hole to fish from. After a few hours of fishing, we had caught about 8 fish.

A weird feeling hit me and I looked around cautiously, "Something wrong Y/N?" Kakashi asked eyeing me.

"I feel weird. Like something doesn't belong." Kakashi and Yamato quickly scanned the area, but shrugged their shoulders, they couldn't feel it, but I could.

"It's like ther-"

"SENSEI!" Sakura screamed 20 feet away from me, I looked at her throwing my pole down and sprinted to her, everyone else doing the same in a panic, she was just standing there, legs shaking, a look of fear and panic covering her features.

"What's wrong Sakura?!" I grabbed her upper arms inspecting her body, she looked down at out feet and let out a shaking breath.

I followed her gaze and there, right below us was a man, trapped under the ice. Frozen.

"What the hell?"

"Hurry! Get him out!" I shouted as I took a few steps back, gathered chakra in my foot and slammed it against the ice a few times breaking it,

"Y/N what are you do-"

I plunged into the icey water, the cold of the water started to put my body in shock, but my body soon adapted.

I swam over to the man trapped, he was stiff, almost lifeless, he was wearing all black but had no ninja gear on. I grabbed him by his arm and swam back to the hole I created and shoved my head above water.

"Are you stupid?!" Kakashi yelled as I gasped for air, I hauled the man up, Yamato and Naruto pulling him up on the ice, Kakashi pulled me up and held onto my upper arms staring me like I just committed murder, examining my icy blue skin.

"You're as cold as death."

"My b-body is adapted. We need to get this man warmed up."

"I don't think he's ali-"

"Yes he is! I can see his chakra, it's flowing very slow but it's still moving, he's alive!" Everyone helped carry the man back to the house and upstairs to my parents old room, Yamato lit a fire, Sakura checked him for any injuries, Naruto and Sai cut off his wet clothes and dried him off.

Kakashi took me to the living room and stripped me of my wet clothes and rummaged through his bag and handed me my Jonin uniform.

"That was so stupid, you could have froze to death." He had his arms folded over his chest as he watched me get dressed.

"No, you would have froze to death. I'm perfectly fine." I zipped up my pants, now fully dressed and raked a towel through my wet hair.

"Look I had feeling since we got here that something didn't feel right, and he's was that feeling. I'm not sure how long he has been out there, but Sakura saved him spotting him under the ice."

Kakashi pulled me into a tight hug, his arms around my waist and his face buried in the crook of my neck.

"You're so reckless." He whispered, holding me tighter, I pulled his head up from my neck staring into his onyx eye, I planted a soft kiss on his masked lips. His fingers came up to his mask and pulled it down, giving me a proper kiss, our lips moved with each other in perfectly unison.

"Y/N!" Yamato called from upstairs, me and and Kakashi pulled part and I rushed up the stairs, missing a few in the process. I swung the door open stepping inside, everyone was crowded around the bed, I stepped closer gently pushing Sai and Naruto out of my way.

My eyes landed on the strange man, and looking back at me, his left eye was a deep purple and the right was a snowflake eye.

My body froze in place, I couldn't move. My heart stopped beating in my chest, the man looked scared beyond belief, but when his eyes landed on me, he gasped and went wide eyed.

"Everyone get out." I breathed.

"What? But what-"

I turned to everyone behind me and through clenched teeth, "I said get out!"

Everyone looked surprised as they scurried out of the room, the door closing behind them. I turned back to the man who held onto the blanket as he sat up in the bed.

"Start explaining yourself right now." I grabbed my mother's desk chair and sat it by the bed sitting tensely in it.

"W-what so you mean?"

"Who are you and where did you get that eye?" I wasn't going to play his games.

"My name is Gunta Hiltar, and my mother gave me this eye when I was born." His voice was warm, like all this man has done all his life was talk, it was deep and flowed out of his throat with ease.

"Y-youre a half blood?" My voice was but a whisper but he heard me.

"And you're a full blood. I can't believe this." He let out a happy sigh.

"This isn't real, my clan was wiped out, how did you survive?!" I held my white kunai to his throat,

"Speak, or will rip your throat out." His mixed eyes darted to my kunai and then to my face, gazing into my eyes.

"I-I was with my father, my mother was outed for having a half blood child and sent me with my father to the Hidden Rain Village where I grew up."

I removed my Kunai and slumped back into the chair running my hands through my damp hair.

I sighed but smiled at Gunta, "This is amazing. I thought I was the only one left." He returned my smile with his own bright one.

"I know the feeling."

"How did you end up here?"

"I was told to come here and wait for you to return, I had a scroll that contained information for you. You are to meet with The Council near the 5 Kage summit now in about two days. But it was dark and I fell through the ice on a weak spot and got trapped."

I gave him a confused look, "The Council, but they were all killed, how can there be another?"

"The people of the Land Of Snow formed a new Council, it's mostly made up of the rich and important."

"Wait wait whoa hold up. Why me?"

He looked at me as if I was dumb, "Y-you don't know?"

I shook my head at him, "Well you will find out soon enough."

All I could do was stare at him, he is attractive, his medium length, white hair, his mixed eyes, and toned pale skin on his chest.

I shook my head and stood up facing away from him and walked to my parents wardrobe and pulled out some clothes of my dad's and handed them to him. "Here get dressed."

I turned back to the door, opened it and walked out into the hallway. I leaned back against the door, resting my head on it and closed my eyes. I sighed and rubbed my face with my hands, this is all too much, all these years thinking I was the last Yakani, yeah he's half blood but still. There's another.

"Penny for your thoughts?" Kakashi asked walking towards me.

As soon as I looked at him I broke down and started crying. He pulled me into his chest and held me to him.

"I'm not alone. He's a Yakani, his eye is- I can't believe it." I sobbed harder.

"I'm happy, you have someone just like you." His voice wasn't his, it held jealousy, and irritation. I pulled from him and looked up at his face, his eyebrows were pushed together and his onyx eye pooled with jealousy.

"Are you okay?" He didn't answer me, he just looked away.

I grabbed his face and slammed our lips together, I slid my tongue in his mouth and licked every inch. He hungrily kissed me back, a growl leaving his throat as he pushed me up against the wall and groped me roughly.

"Remember, you're mine." He whispered in my ear and pulled away, leaving me panting, blushing and wet. He patted my head and walked back down the steps to the living room.

Gunta came out of the room and knitted his eyebrows at me, I shook my head and led him downstairs.

"Okay so, everyone, meet Gunta, he's, half Yakani." Everyone was silent as Gunta stepped around me, his broad shoulders held back, he wasn't tense, he wasnt timid, he was standing tall with his head held high. He definitely wasn't the same man I was just in the room with. He seems almost intimidating to be in a room with.

"I am going to show him our clans secrets, in the Lord's office."

Kakashi set his stone gaze at me, "What?! How can you even know we can trust him?"

"He's a Yakani, he wasn't even here when Orochimaru attacked our Village, his mother didn't even keep him here. But I believe I can trust him Kakashi."

Kakashi's hands balled into fists at his sides, sizing up Gunta, who only puffed his chest out. They were both the same height,

"Look will you two knock it off?" I sighed and pinched the bridge of my nose, "I can't have you two always in a pissing contests, okay?"

"Well anyone who aren't Yakani are beneath us."

"The fuck you just say?" Kakashi took a huge step towards Gunta, I stepped in the middle facing Gunta.

"You may be part of my clan, but you're only a half blood, don't get cocky here. These people are strong, don't underestimate them. They are my family, insult them again, and I won't hesitate to end your life."

Gunta stated at me wide eyed but bowed his head and took a step back. I sighed and turned to Kakashi grabbing his hand and walking outside to cool him off. I sat him in the snow and covered his shoulders in snow.

"You need to calm down. I know tensions are high with Gunta here, but I can't have you flying off your rocker Everytime he's around."

Kakashi didn't say anything, he was still fuming, "You don't understand how I feel, seeing the woman I'm madly in love with, and want to have a future with. Have someone whose like her show up, who can help her," he gulped loudly, "Restore her clan."

I crouched in front of him dumbfounded that he actually thought that, "Kakashi." I put my hands on his shoulders, "I do want to restore my clan-" Hurt and Shock flashed in his eye and she shrugged off my hands, but I grabbed them again only tighter. "I want to restore it with you."

His trembling eye looked into my own and in an instant I'm flat on my back, Kakashi between my legs and he's kissing me hard, like if he would stop, I'd disappear forever. He put all his weight down on me, holding onto my face with both hands. Our lips moved in sync, his tongue battle mine for dominance. As my lungs burned for air, and my core was aching for him again, he hit me right in the heart.

"Marry me." He panted watching my face for any reaction.

I stopped breathing all together, "W-what?"

"Marry me, please." I pulled him down for another heated kiss, clinching to his Jonin vest for dear life, he pulled us apart, and pulled me up so we were both sitting in the snow, he grabbed my left hand and touched the top of my ring finger with his finger,

"Sealing Jutsu; Eternal Seal." A black seal appeared on my finger, along with his own. The same one as before, before Pein attacked and Kakashi had died, "How did you..?"

"Lady Tsunade taught it to me." He smiled brightly as I tackled him to the ground, and he made sweet, gentle love to me in the snow and away from prying eyes.
