Twenty-Eight

Yoongi brought Taehyung into another kiss, this time crawling into his lap. He wrapped his arms around Taehyung's neck and Taehyung placed his hands on Yoongi's waist just to hold onto him, just to keep him within reach for as long as he wanted or needed to.

He could feel how softly Taehyung's hands were caressing him as they kissed. Every little peck, every touch, every soft noise coming from Taehyung, Yoongi loved it all. Even as he pulled away from the kiss and looked into Taehyung's eyes, it felt different. It all felt different because now he knows. Now he knows that he's meant to be in Taehyung's arms. They're meant to be like this.

"You don't think that I was being too dramatic?" Taehyung asked him. "About Taen? Should I have just told you sooner?"

Yoongi tugged the locks of curly hair out of Taehyung's eyes and he pressed a lingering kiss to his forehead. "You waited for me for years, Taehyung," he told him, still petting gently at his hair. "If you can wait for me, then I'll always wait for you."

Taehyung smiled up at him. He placed his hands on Yoongi's thighs, which were straddling him. The touches were feather-like, driving Yoongi crazy every time.

"Good," Taehyung said. "So you'll be my boyfriend, and Seokjin and Namjoon are going to actually kill me for sure now, if you will?"

Yoongi frowned. "Seokjin won't like it too much, but if we get him and Jimin sorted out, maybe he'll change his mind. Hoseok seems to not care, but Namjoon still thinks that Jimin purposely turned me even though he had nothing to do with it." He sighed as he played with Taehyung's hair. It was good to calm down with just him and Taehyung alone, but now his thoughts are scrambled.

His free hand was caught by Taehyung, who began to play with Yoongi's fingers. It was so comforting and he didn't know how to deal with such affection like this.

"Baby," Taehyung let out.

Yoongi bit his lip and let his head drop, trying to ignore the eye contact that Taehyung was trying to hold. His eyes were so pretty, yet so daring as they scanned Yoongi's face.

"Yes?" Yoongi mumbled.

He could hear Taehyung chuckle at him for being so shy. "You're cute." Taehyung rested his head against Yoongi's left shoulder and pecked the fabric of his shirt. "First, we'll gather everyone again. We'll explain to them briefly about what I did, and I'm sure Hoseok will help with that. His family were the ones who marked you. That's why he knew so much. So, after we explain it all, if all is well, we'll take you back out into the real world and you and I can have our happy ever after."

Yoongi smiled as his boyfriend nuzzled into his neck. "Sounds good to me."

They gathered up again the next day. Monday. Everybody except for Taehyung and Yoongi had went to school, so they were meant to show up after the very last bell.

Yoongi wasn't as nervous now.

He had Taehyung by his side and he knew that Seokjin couldn't blame him, especially if he knew his reasoning. So, when they all showed up, things felt steady. Namjoon had even calmed down some and began their conversation by apologizing to Jimin.

"Seokjin didn't tell me to do this," he said, "but Jimin, I'm sorry for being so rude yesterday. I didn't mean to accuse you."

Jimin was sat back down on the steps again, narrowing his eyes at Namjoon. "Just don't accuse me of doing some dumb shit ever again," he muttered. "I don't have time to go around getting revenge on anybody."

Hoseok stepped up. "Okay, whatever." He looked at Yoongi, who was standing next to Taehyung with their hands intertwined. "Yoongi, did you guys talk or what?"

All eyes were on Yoongi. He simply nodded at Hoseok, noticing how his face softened. Yoongi gave him a reassuring smile.

"Taehyung and I talked." Yoongi cleared his throat and held tighter onto Taehyung. "He had marked my soul in my past life." It was odd coming out of his mouth, but Namjoon's mouth fell open, and Seokjin and Jungkook's eyes widened in surprise. "I've had a mark on my shoulder since I was born. I showed Jungkook, remember?" He peeked at Jungkook for some help.

Jungkook nodded, his hair falling as he stared back at the couple.

"So," Yoongi continued, "I'd appreciate it if you guys will accept that I'm not leaving Taehyung. And I'm not leaving you guys," he said as he noticed Seokjin's frown. "I want us to all get along, please. Jin, Jimin, can't we do that? Can't we get along somewhat?"

Jimin stared hard at the dead grass and Seokjin hummed. The only thing really keeping them back is the fact that Seokjin and Jimin are still so upset at each other.

Taehyung straightened up. "I wanted to maybe sit out on the patio and just talk with each other, you know? Like we used to?"

Of course, Yoongi didn't know that they used to do that, but he agrees. He'd like to do that. It'll give them some get along time.

"Please?" Yoongi begged.

Namjoon sighed. "This reminds me of when Seokjin asked me to come here the first time he and Jimin got together."

Seokjin huffed. "Oh, shush. Yeah, we can sit here for a little while, if that's what you really want, Yoongi," he said.

"Yes, please."
