!17!
Clutching her [f/c] phone in her hands, she walked down the pale sidewalk, her [e/c] eyes darting back and forth.
To the point where's she's about to start jogging away, she glances over her shoulder to look at the people behind her.
Being paranoid wasn't a good thing. She didn't like this feeling.
But then again, what was she paranoid about? What was the point of it all?
Oh that's right. She thought a guy was following her. He had his hood up and has been walking behind her a far ways away for a while. That wasn't creepy was it?
She glanced over her shoulder again, before turning around and darting down the sidewalk.
Swerving around a corner, she slammed into somebody's chest, knocking them over and pushing herself back.
She glanced down at the guy who looked up at her in confusion, before she glanced to the side where she came from, seeing the guy watching calmly from afar.
"Sorry!!" She squeaked, shuffling past him to hopefully run away.
"Woah woah! You can't just run away from me right after slamming me onto the ground?!" He yelled in protest, grabbing her arm.
She yanked her arm away and narrowed her eyes. He was a complete stranger.
He let his arm drop to his side, feeling as if she was a little uncomfortable.
He let his eyes soften a tiny bit. "What's wrong?" He asked. "I know I'm a complete stranger but let me help-",
"We have to make this quick." She cut him off, glancing over her shoulder continuously, seeing as the man was now resting against a building, but staring her down. She let a shiver run down her spine. "A guy is following me. I don't know who he is and I can't see his face. He's been following me for about 15 minutes now, I-", She cut off to let her gaze run back to him. The way the guy was against the wall, he couldn't see the complete stranger she was talking to right now.
"I've been walking for about 15 minutes now. Don't look, he'll see you." She let her [e/c] eyes trail back to where the sidewalk was. "I'm [y/n]." She quickly introduced herself.
"Brian." He answered, giving her a quick, shy smile.
She walked a little over the corner, but let her back be visible to the man still, so he wouldn't move.
"I need you to stand a little ways from here. See that shop up there?" She pointed towards a small gardening shop on the side of the street. "Stand against that shop and watch. When you see me approach, smile at me and then walk with me."
The man nodded slowly. "What's the guy look like?"
"Kinda tall, he's wearing an almost pitch black hoodie, shaggy jean's and weird looking brown boots."
The man nodded again, before casting a suspicious glance towards her. "How do I know I can trust you?"
"Just go and wait at the shop. You'll see the guy. You can't miss him." A pleading look seeped into her eyes, begging for him to help. His brown eyes narrowed.
"Alright. I'll be waiting." He jogged off towards the store, his hair bouncing and his shirt shuffle as he steadily ran down the sidewalk.
She watched from afar, her slightly worried eyes looking behind her once more.
She stood up straight, before moving fully around the corner.
The man with the black hoodie immediately stood tall, before proceeding to follow her around the corner.
She walked slowly, as if she was taking hertime, towards the shop, eyes faced forward.
Brian was slumped against the side of the shop, as he watched the [h/c] haired and [e/c] eyed girl make her way down the sidewalk towards her, a smile curving her lips upwards.
He cast her a smile herself, her smile being contagious, before standing straight, waiting for [Y/n] get closer.
His brown eyes narrowed, seeing the exact man she described about 10 feet behind her, a creepy smile covering his chapped lips. He stared in disbelief at the man, he honestly thought the girl was lying, before turning to face the girl who was now a few feet in front of her.
He let a soft smile meet his features.
She tucked a piece of hair behind her ear, before looking shyly down to the ground, acting to make it more believable that the two complete strangers were actually dating.
The man look down at her, admiring her features, before leaning close to her ear.
"I see him. Walk close next to me, and I'll make it more believable." He gave her a shy smile as he pulled away, acting as if he gave her a huge compliment.
She smiled as well, and nodded, before beginning to walk down the sidewalk she had been walking the direction of before.
Brian stood closely next to her, wrapping his arm around her waist.
He walked forward without looking back, feeling a little uneasy. He let his face relax, before glancing back at the man.
The man stopped walking, hood still up.
He stood still, before whipping around in an angry manner and stomping off.
The two continued to walk for a few minutes in silence, before stopping and letting out deep sighs.
"I'm gonna be honest, I seriously didn't believe you at first when you told me about the man." His brown eyes lingered on her face, taking in every detail. "I'm sorry. Are you serious that he followed you for 15 minutes down that sidewalk?"
She let out a heavy sigh. "Yeah. I was starting to lose hope. I thank you so much." She gave him a smile before shaking his hand.
"Oh right, before I forget, can I get your number?" He asked, reaching for his phone, eyes crinkling from how much he was smiling.
"Sure!" She replied, eyes staring into his as she tried to be as kind as she could.
They exchanged numbers, before Brian asked where she had been heading.
"I'm heading to a cafe with my friend, Evan." She answered, smiling. He nodded.
"I can walk you there, it's only a few blocks is away. And I want to make sure that man doesn't come back." He grinned, before turning to the direction the cafe is.
They walked in silence, Brian mainly gawking at the side of her face. "How did I get so lucky to bump into such a beautiful girl?" He asked out loud.
"What?" She asked in confusion, trying to hide the red that was crawling up her neck.
"Wait- did I say that out loud?" He asked.
"Y-yes..", she answered, looking down at the sidewalk.
He slapped a hand over his mouth, before apologizing profusely.
She smiled before shaking her head. "Thank you for the compliment."
He nodded, letting her know he heard her, before they both stopped.
"We're here." She chirped cheerfully, eyes squinting from her smile.
He opened the door for her to step in, only for her to chuckle.
"What a true gentleman." She winked jokingly at him, before continuing inside. He grinned at that, before following her.
He glanced around the cafe, taking in the textures and how nice it smelled inside.
"[Y/n]!" He heard a voice shout, catching his attention. Why'd the voice sound so familiar?
His eyes widened as the owner of the voice and Brian himself locked eyes.
"Vanoss?!"
"Terroriser?!"
