"What was that?", I yelled out looking at a car out of the corner of my eye.

I could have sworn seeing some shadow on the roof of that car......

I'm getting ahead of myself. I'm Knifeninja. People call me Knife for short.

I live a simple existence. I eat, sleep, play videogames, watch YouTube, write fanfiction, etc.

As you could guess I'm overweight, wear glasses, and am not the best looking thing around.

I accept that, I on the other hand have an intense curiosity that has led to lots of random book smarts.

You know, stupid shit like how three people a year die from falling vending machines.

(But it ate my dollar.....)

I try to keep an open mind. This often leads me to fall for a lot of stupid shit... Oh well.

Today I was having weird sights and sounds. Out of the corners of my eye I'd see a shadow or hear a random sound.

All of it disappearing just as I notice it.

Fuck, I need to start getting more sleep.

Soon enough I was back to my apartment. It was a small messy room on the first floor. It consists of a living room/kitchen, a small bedroom, and a bathroom.

The living room was always covered in laundry and trash and I spent most of my time in there playing games on my PlayStation 3.

I was about to start some Nazi Zombies when I saw another shadow out of the corner of my eye.

Like before it vanished.

"Come on out weird shadow I don't bite!"

Can shadows hear? And if so do they get English? Fuck this is annoying!

Sure enough the shadow faded into existence before me.

A feminine voice cooed, "yes, yes, I'm sorry."

I had to sit down.

You can read minds?

"That's what you ask about?" It moaned.

Well if you meant harm you could have easily Killed me like five times over while walking home.

The shadow let out a giggle.

"So what are you? A demon, an angel, a ghost, or some hallucination?"

The shadow was silent and moved towards me. Within a few seconds it reached my feet and I felt cold as darkness passed over me.
