¨S-So w-what are you going to do about this F-F-Flowey person?¨ Alphys asked as she dressed my wounds. I glare at the floor, feeling the rage settle slowly. When I get my hands on that flower................ I sighed and rubbed the bridge of my nose with my middle and thumb.

¨I don't know. As much as I want to get my revenge for Papyrus, I........I can't.¨

¨W-Why?¨

I stood up and pulled the backpack from off the floor. ¨What would be the point, Alphys? I would just lower myself to his standards, being no better than Flowey! Besides................I-I.........¨ I looked down, hands clenched and eyes shut tightly. ¨I......I can't save monsters............I was framed and..........who would believe me if this was someone else?¨ My name has been tainted. My journey coming to a complete halt. I'm not going to be a savior to them. I would be just another dirty human despite the friendships I've made. That one life........Papyrus...........was one of my biggest challenges...and now?

¨Now that Papyrus is dead, I'll be considered a threat. A monster. A pawn to the motto 'Kill or Be Killed'.¨ I let out another defeated sigh and walk to the exit. ¨I'm going to see if Toriel will let me back. Maybe I can spend the rest of my miserable life with the only person who cares.¨ I laughed, half-heartedly. Slowly, I made my way to the exit when I felt a hand grab onto me; stopping me in my tracks. Not daring to look back, I listened as Alphys spoke up.

¨You......You don't have.....to do this...alone. I know you wouldn't do something like this. Despite everything the video shows..............what you've done for Monster Kid........Napstablook..........Undyne..........Me..................You're not a monster..and you're most certainly not a pawn!¨

I stared at the scientist in shock. She hadn't even stuttered once! She looked up at me and smiled.

¨I know you will do what needs to be done.¨ Looking back down, I thought about what I might be turning my back to. I would be leaving these citizens with no hope for a happy ending. I'll be leaving Napstablook with no one to talk to. I would be going back on my promise to Naomi. I would make myself the worthless trash my foster mother said I was. I would let Alphys down...................

I looked at my only exit, the door open with welcoming arms. I gazed at the scientist who had pleading eyes on me. Whatever I choose, I can't turn back.

I tossed the bag on the floor and turned towards Alphys, standing with determination and heroic awesomeness. ¨Well, I might need some new clothes if I'm to save everyone!¨

She gasped and, because of her height, hugged my legs. I, gladly, pulled her to my height and hugged her back. After our hugging session, I put her down and she immediately darted to her room. She pulled out a human outfit from the room. (Ignore the bag and jewelry) I took it from her hands and, after asking for the bathroom and mumbling a 'thank you', I started getting dressed, starting with my wrinkled, blood-stained shirt.

¨T-There should be a f-first aid kit u-under the sink.¨ Alphys stutters from outside the bathroom. I bend down and open the drawer, finding a first aid kit. I grab it and, after gently closing the drawer, went to work on my wounds.

After got my hair fixed into the neatest bun I could muster, I picked up my bag with my dirty clothes inside and exited the bathroom. When I got out, I could tell how excited Alphys was when I was finished.

¨W-W-Wow! I d-didn't think it would fit! And it looks so n-nice on you too!¨ she squealed happily. I smiled nervously and laugh.

¨You would be surprised by the small amount of clothes that suit me.¨

¨O-Okay! Now, I-I will give you m-my phone number! T-Then, if you need h-help......I c-could........¨ Suddenly, when I brought my phone up, Alphys froze and frowned at the sight of it.

¨What?¨ I asked, raising an eyebrow.

¨Wh......where'd you get that phone!? It's ANCIENT! It doesn't even have texting. W-wait a second, p-please!¨ She rambled as the beloved phone was taken away.

¨Hey! That phone was from a friend!!!¨

¨I-I know. B-But........¨ Then, after a few noises that, combined, sounded like a car crash, she came back with my phone. ¨Here, I upgraded it for you! It can do texting, items, it's got a key chain............I even signed you up for the underground's No. 1 social network!¨ I clicked a little icon and saw that it took me directly to the network.

¨Heh. It's kind of like Facebook.¨

¨Y-Yea! And now we're officially friends!¨ she gushed, giggling. I grinned, happy to make another friend who I can see and is not dead! (#DepressedLonelyHero :( ) She continued to giggle, awkwardly, and decided to go to the bathroom. I decided to look around and spotted the small ancient computer on the desk. I say ancient because everybody uses laptops and these are like the ones you find in libraries. Either way, I sneaked a glance at it and see that she is working on a puzzle in................Snowdin?

It may be a little bit weird, but I think she was the one who hacked into Papyrus' tile puzzle. It would make sense since the oblivious skeleton said it was created by Dr. Alphys herself. I walked into the fridge, knowing she might not mind if I grab one little food item. I look and can only find instant noodles. I take it and plan to tell the scientist about it when she comes back. I go upstairs and look around. A lot of the bookshelves have stacks on DVDs, VHS's, and comic books that are labeled 'Human History'. Looking closer, I can recognize the characters in being some sort of anime.

¨Well, that's 'Human CULTURE' but I don't think it matters.¨ I giggle to myself and move towards another desk. On there, dusty blueprints were laid on the wooden table. Dusting off the papers, I can make out sketches of a monster soul and an arrow going towards the sketch of a human soul. I knew it was a monster soul since seeing.........you know. Alphys had more cameras set up, including one inside of the skele-bros house. Speaking of that, what was weird was how familiar that faker's attitude was. Not to mention the tone of her voice. Shaking off that feeling as paranoia, I could see that the words were the same wacky font.

Not finding anything else interesting, I head out only to hear a startlingly loud beep from my phone. Fumbling it out of my pocket, I open the loud electronic to see it was from the Underground's network:

ALPHYS updated status.

ALPHYS: just realized i didn't watch undyne fight the human. V.V

I stifle a laugh and put the phone back, walking straight when another update came up:

ALPHYS: well i know she's unbeatable i'll ask her about it later. ^.^

I sighed, I guess this is going to be like this for the whole trip? I sighed and continued walking.
