¨Y......You..were worried about me?¨ I asked in disbelief. Part of me really wanted to believe Undyne really changed. That my mercy changed her course of action and she would decide to help me. However, what the other part of me says..............

¨Hah! Of course, punk! You're a wimpy loser with a big heart. And someone who can do something as generous as give me a glass water........well, I RESPECT That!¨she laughed and playfully punched me in the arm. I flinched since it felt like getting punched by a brick. I rubbed my shoulder in pain. 'That sure was going to leave a bruise.' I thought to myself. I hear Gaster chuckle.

¨Good thing I'm not mortal. Otherwise, I would be in the same torture you are going to experience.¨

It was weird how no one else could see him except me. Probably because of being shattered across space and time and all. But, still.........it's kind of freaky.

¨Why don't you come in?! It's better than just standing out here for...........¨ I raised a questioning eyebrow at Undyne. ¨I'll tell when you get inside, come on!¨ she insisted and opened the door for me. I smiled shyly and shuffled inside with Gaster and her behind. It was nice and cozy except for the huge sword, leaning against the wall. I gulp and watch the sword, hoping it doesn't magically attack me. ¨So why are YOU here?¨

¨Just happened to be in the neighborhood and thought you..........would not kill me?¨ At that, Undyne laughed hysterically. I laughed, awkwardly.

¨Yeah, I thought about it before. But............I visited Alphys recently and..........she told me everything. So, thought you might need the.......assistance.¨ she explained, rubbing her neck nervously. Well, that explains why she isn't that mean to me. But.............

¨So, what did you have to tell me, anyways?¨

She looked down and clenched her fist, breathing heavily. She looked.......distressed. I don't know why the leader of the Royal Guard would be so concerned. Especially since I turned out to be good and whoever was framing me will be easy to take down.

¨It's...........I'll tell you after. For now, why don't you have a seat?¨ Undyne suggested, her sharp teeth showing a huge grin. I nodded, nervously, It was a cute wooden table with a matching chair and a decorative lace piece of a fish. 'I wonder if she knows that humans eat fish.....' I thought to myself as she spoke up again.

¨Comfortable?¨

¨Yep!¨

¨I'll get you something to drink. ¨ she insisted, walking towards her fridge and pulling out five types of drinks. Setting them on the table, she smiled. ¨All set! What would you like?¨ I looked at the different options. There appears to be a yellow soda, a green cylinder that says 'Hot Chocolate', sugar, and tea. I felt the sugary child in my head wanting the highly caffeinated soda but regular me wants the tea. 'Hopefully, they have Golden Flower Tea.' I sighed to myself. I point to the tea boxes and she smiled.

¨....tea, huh? Coming right up!¨ I watched as she carefully grabbed a metal kettle and fill it to the brim with water. I was sure that I wasn't going to drink all of that tea unless I was staying the whole night. She set it on the burner and turned up the heat. ¨It'll take a moment for the water to boil. ¨

After a few awkward minutes later, the water has boiled and Undyne turned off the burner.

¨Okay, it's all done! Here we are.¨ she finished, placing the cup of tea on the table. I thanked her and spun the cup of tea with the spoon while she seated herself on the opposite side of the table. She seemed very pleased that I was here, which makes this forced visit rather nice.

¨Careful, it's hot.¨

¨Oh, thank you. I'll just wait then.¨ The whole time, Gaster is standing there on the piano; observing how this trip unfolds. Enjoying himself; what a dork. I hold back a chuckle and smiled politely at the Royal Guardsman. I took a sip of my tea and felt the burning sensation. Maybe it was a little too hot. But, then, I tasted the familiar taste of the tea. If it wasn't for Undyne being here, I would be on the brink of tears. I........It's..........

¨It's pretty good, right? You know.........it's kind of strange you chose THAT tea. Golden flower tea...............That's Asgore's favorite kind.¨ I swallowed the tea that was in my mouth and nodded.

¨I know. Golden flower tea used to be my friend, Naomi's favorite. I used to drink it with her when I was a little girl. It.....It brings back good memories.¨

¨Yea.......now that I think about............ You kind of remind me of him. You're both TOTAL weenies!!!!¨ she howled in laughter. I blush lightly and puff my cheeks. 'I'm not a weenie.......'

¨You kind of are.¨

'AM NOT!!!'

¨Are too.¨

I clenched my fists but controlled myself so that I don't give the wrong impression.

¨well.....sort of. ¨ Undyne sighed, looking down. ¨Y'know, I was a pretty hotheaded kid. Once, to prove I was the strongest, I tried to fight ASGORE. Emphasis on TRIED. I couldn't land a single blow on him! And worse, the whole time, he refused to fight back! I was so humiliated..........Afterwards, he apologized and said something goofy.........'Excuse me, do you want to know how to beat me?' I said yes, and from then on, he trained me. ¨

¨One day, during practice, I finally knocked him down. I felt.....bad. But he was beaming.......I had never seen someone more proud to get their butt kicked. Anyway, long story short, he kept training me...........And now I'm head of the Royal Guard! So I'm the one who gets to train dorks to fight! ....like, uh, Papyrus..........¨ she responded, sadly.

I looked down and sighed, finishing the last sips of tea in silence. I really did miss Papyrus. He was one of the bestest friends. He could always make me laugh and, if I could, I would ask him for his spaghetti to bring him back to life. I would do that just to bring that goofy skeleton back.

¨I.....I miss him too, Undyne. To be honest, he was like the brother I never had.¨

¨Yea.........but....if he were..you know, to be honest.......I didn't think I could ever let Papyrus into the Royal Guard.¨

¨Huh, why not?¨

¨He's just.........I mean, it's not that he's weak. He's actually pretty tough! It's just that.............He's......He's too innocent and nice!!! I mean, look, he was supposed to capture you........And he ended up being friends with you instead! I could NEVER send him into battle!¨

¨Fair point.¨

¨He'd get ripped into little smiling shreds. That's part of why..........I started teaching him how to cook, you know? So, um, maybe he can do something else with his life.¨

¨Heh, never tried his cooking. Had the chance but it got frozen to the table and I was unable to eat it. But, I can see why he couldn't be in the Royal Guard. I think he would, probably, make an excellent chef!¨ I laughed softly. Undyne laughed as well then went silent. Then, she looked slightly flustered.

¨Oh, sorry, I was talking for so long......You're out of tea, aren't you?¨ I noticed my empty cup and nodded, looking sheepish. ¨I'll get you some more. ¨ She was about to get some more when she stopped in the middle of the kitchen. I looked nervously at Gaster, who gave me a small shrug. Sometimes, I wish he could help me in times of need.

¨Wait a second. Why don't I teach YOU how to cook?! We can bond!! Let's start!!!¨ she shouted and jumped to the counter; pushing away all of the stuff on the floor. Crashing of glass and metal hitting the floor echoed through the house.

¨That's right!!! NOTHING has brought Papyrus and I closer than cooking! We're gonna be best friends!!!¨ she bellowed, jumping towards me. I squeaked in fear and tried to run but was grabbed by the muscular monster, roughly, and carried to the counter. I gulped and shook in fear. This is NOT how I want to die! I just finished Mettaton's cooking show of death and now THIS!!!! She stared at me with a killer grin.

¨Let's start with the sauce!!¨
