Oof!

Finally! It took forever to complete this puzzle. But, I was able to press all of the X's and flip the switch. I looked towards the large gap to, now, see a stone bridge form. I got up from falling on my butt......for the thirteenth time. I brushed off the fluffy snow sticking to my denim shirt and, taking my backpack, walked into the dense forest. I mean, it was like a wall of bare trees. It kind of reminds me of bamboo walls that I would see in some asian restaurants back home. I always thought they looked so cool, with their green/yellow exterior and intimidatingly tall stature. As I walked through the forest, I felt something soft fall on top of my head and, after leaving the forest, I brushed the object that fell on my head. It was just snow.

I shrugged it off and continued walking. But, this silence was unsettling. Mostly because Chara hasn't spoken to me in God knows how long! It is a little suspicious but, again, the same thing happened with the Toriel fight. Speaking of Toriel, I have been trying to call her but she hasn't been taking my calls. Maybe today will be the lucky day? I grabbed the cell-phone that was in my pocket and started dialing mom's number. It started to ring for a little bit but........there was no answer. I sighed, suffering with defeat, and went right.

In the area, there was clumps of snow everywhere and a little dog house. I walked towards a sign that was next to the quaint house:

(Woof.)

Whelp, that was pretty helpful. I started looking through the globs of snow to see if there was any secret supplies hidden. I checked all of the puffy snow balls and there was nothing, except for the one that had 30G in it. Which was, indeed, pretty helpful. I was about to walk onto the bridge when, suddenly, I spotted another clump. So, like before, I was going to dig through it until a small white tail popped up. It wagged happily and a white, Pomeranian's head came out of the spot in front of me; barking sweetly in a squeaky voice.

¨AW!~¨ I was about to pet it but, it started standing up. Long story, short, it wasn't a little puppy. It wore the same armor the other dogs wore and had an iron spear in hand. I gasped and saw my soul come out, indicating a battle. I decided to CHECK the dog and find out his attacks. It's name is Greater Dog and it is pretty good with its defenses and attacks. Suddenly, a pup showed and started shooting seismic barks at me. I hesitated and got hit by some, lowering my once maxed out HP to 16.

To try to distract him, I decided to pet him; he probably likes it like the other guard dogs. But, he was too far so I ended up petting the air; like a retard. It used it's spear and the spear started changing from blue to white, continuously. I tried to stand still but got hit with the white and lowered my HP down to 12. Thinking that the dog might be a mere puppy, I tried calling to it.

¨Come 'ere, Greater Dog! Who's a good boy?!¨ It pranced towards me, flicking wet saliva at my face. I wiped my face and waited for it's next attack. He used the same waves, but I was able to dodge them without any further damage done. So, because of how close he was, I decided to pet him. 'Man, I should've done that in the first place!' I face palmed to myself and scratched behind his ears. Greater Dog yipped happily and curled up on my lap, falling asleep. After a good while, it suddenly woke up and started jumping around; wanting to play.

It used the spear again and I was able to stand still at the right time. Because he is so excited, I grabbed a stick from the ground and threw it, telling him to go fetch it. Greater Dog doesn't resist getting the stick and bringing it back to me, falling asleep once again. I kept petting it, moving my head away from the waves as he sat on my lap. He laid on his back and stretched it's legs up, wanting a tummy rub. Without hesitation, I rubbed his stomach; sparing him at the same time. He got up, out of his armor, and licked my face before leaving to where I was going. I smiled and waved at the dog, stretching my back.

After some walking on the bridge, I spotted Sans and Papyrus on the other side; the taller skeleton noticing me quite quickly.

¨HUMAN! THIS IS YOUR FINAL AND MOST DANGEROUS CHALLENGE! BEHOLD! THE GAUNTLET OF DEADLY TERROR!¨ At that, weapons of mass injuries came above and below the bridge. ¨WHEN I SAY THE WORD, IT WILL FULLY ACTIVATE!!! CANNONS WILL FIRE! SPIKES WILL SWING! BLADES WILL SLICE! EACH PART WILL SWING VIOLENTLY UP AND DOWN! ONLY THE TINIEST CHANCE OF VICTORY WILL REMAIN!!! ARE YOU READY!? BECAUSE! I! AM! ABOUT! TO DO IT!¨ I hesitated at the sight of this disastrous concoction. I gulped. 'Surely Papyrus wouldn't do it, would he?' It has been almost two minutes and the skeleton still hasn't activated it.

Sans looked at his brother.

¨well? what's the holdup?¨

¨HOLDUP!? WHAT HOLDUP!? I'M.......I'M ABOUT TO ACTIVATE IT NOW!¨

~Few minutes later~

¨that, uh, doesn't look very activated.¨

¨WELL!!! THIS CHALLENGE!!! IT SEEMS..........MAYBE..........TOO EASY TO DEFEAT THE HUMAN WITH. YEAH! WE CAN'T USE THIS ONE!!! I AM A SKELETON WITH STANDARDS!!! MY PUZZLES ARE VERY FAIR! AND MY TRAPS ARE EXPERTLY COOKED! BUT THIS METHOD IS TOO DIRECT! NO CLASS AT ALL! AWAY IT GOES!¨ At that, the weapons went away on his command. He sighed in relief and saw me staring at him, confusion clear on my face.

¨WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING AT!? THIS WAS ANOTHER DECISIVE VICTORY FOR PAPYRUS!!¨ and, at that moment, he left with a confused laugh. I looked to his brother and walked towards him. Sans, however, seemed to direct his eyes from looking at me.

¨i don't know what my brother's going to do now. if i were you, i would make sure i understand blue attacks.¨ he advised, walking off to who know's where. I feel like he is still unsure about what happened previously, but I don't blame him. It still hasn't left me alone either. I walked to where the taller skeleton went and came across a banner with colorful lights and words. It said: ¨WELCOME TO SNOWDIN¨ I continued walking and saw a little shop with an inn next to it. They look more like cozy cabins than businesses. I decided to go into the shop to see if they have any food I could buy.
