I didn't know what made that thing familiar but part me is starting to believe that ghosts are real. Nothing else could explain this. Someone, beyond the grave and that knows me, is trying to help me. Well, two someones. The dark yet protective entity and the sweet, kind spirit. They are connected, somehow. Is it me? Is it the Underground? Are they monster? Are they human? I shrugged and walked to the right with the monster child following behind. A ledge appeared before us and, putting my umbrella back into the rack, I attempted to climb it yet only succeeding in falling on my bum.

¨Yo, this ledge is way too steep............ Yo, you wanna see Undyne, right? Put up your umbrella and climb on my shoulders.¨ I raised an eyebrow at the child, who was all ready to lift me up. I sighed and climbed on his shoulders, pulling myself up on the ledge with ease. I crawled towards the edge and looked down at him.

¨Yo, you go on ahead. Don't worry about me. I always find a way to get through!¨ He shouted over his shoulder, falling on his face again and running off. I chuckled at the silly monster and walked towards the next room.

A series of signs were hung up and I decided to read into it more:

The humans, afraid of our power, declared war on us. They attacked suddenly, and without mercy. In the end, it could hardly be called a war. United, the humans were too powerful and us monsters, too weak. Not a single SOUL was taken and countless monsters were turned to dust.........

I felt upset about the humans hurting the monsters. They have always been like this. They were even intimidated by themselves! Well, humans of different color or culture. They even, back in the day, were against women! It was sad times yet utterly stupid. I frowned and marched towards the next room, determined to change the minds of monsters and humans, alike. I was, currently, moving across another series of docks. Like the last time, the light was creating an ominous shadow in front of me.

Suddenly, I watch, frozen, as illuminated blue lights were displayed on different parts of deck. Then, spears came up, ready to jab me if I dare to cross their paths. I looked around and saw the familiar armored body of Undyne on the deck next to me. She started attacking me with these spear traps and I ran, dodging them as much as I could. I got hit by them several times and they decreased my HP, slightly. I was breaking a sweat and my heart was in my throat, terrified about getting killed. To my surprise, the spears have calmed down and they, eventually, stopped as I made it to the edge of the dock.

I felt a small amount of relief until I heard heavy footsteps, approaching slowly towards me. I bit my lip in frustration and turned around, facing the victorious-looking Undyne. She stopped a few feet in front of me and I closed my eyes, readying myself for the blow. I heard the sound of her spears being summoned and I cringed as I heard them strike something. I look and see the spears on the dock, slowly disappearing. I looked up at her, my eyes widening. I heard the sound of the wooden planks giving into each other and I, suddenly, started falling down and down into a dark abyss. Who knows where this will take me. I passed out before I could register anything else.

I was in a state of sleeping and awakening. I couldn't move or speak for that matter. I heard shuffling far off into the distance; the familiar smell of flowers hitting me. Then, a voice came.

¨It sounds like it came from over here.......... Oh! You've fallen down, haven't you?........... Are you okay? Here, get up........¨ a child's voice ushered but I was unable to get up. 'What's g-going on?'

¨........Lily, huh? That's a nice name.¨ I didn't tell this person my name! Then, he spoke again. ¨My name is-¨ Before he could identify itself, I was forced awake and looking up at the hole I fell in. I groaned in pain, feeling my back aching from the long drop. I sat up and felt my hand brush up against something soft. Looking down, yellow flowers like in the Ruins were cushioning my body. I smiled softly but winced at the pain. Desperate to regain my health, I took a Bisicle and ate the last one. My health was back to it's normal range and I got up. My bag was next to the flowers and I picked up, getting myself off the delicate plants.

It was flooded and islands and islands of garbage were laying around. I plugged my nose and started walking, the water being knee deep. I continued and took some Astronaut Bars along for the road. I took a step towards a nearby dummy and tried to talk to it, but; as usual; it didn't do anything. I went to the exit when I heard an aggravated grunt. Looking behind me, I see the dummy have angry eyes. I flinched at the sight and just stared at it.

It started shaking and teleported in front of the exit.

¨Too intimidated to fight me, huh?! I am a ghost that lives inside a DUMMY. My cousin used to live inside a DUMMY, too. Until......... YOU CAME ALONG! When you talked to them, they thought they were in for a nice chat..............¨

Wait, is he talking about the dummy from the Ruins? All I did was have a lovely conversation with it! No big deal!

¨But the things you SAID.........! Horrible. Shocking! UNBELIEVABLE! It spooked them right out of there dummy! HUMAN! I'll scare your SOUL out of your body!¨ he shouted, readying himself for the fight. UGH! Not again!!!

I, immediately, checked the dummy. His name is Mad Dummy and physical attacks won't work. Welp, that would suck if I WERE to kill him. But, I'm not.

¨Futile. Futile! FUTILE!¨ he shouted, sending an army of dummies to attack me with stuffing. I dodged them and, surprisingly, one of them hits Mad Dummy. He seemed angry and in pain. He growled at the army, who were shaking slightly.

¨OWWWW, you DUMMIES!! Watch where you're aiming your MAGIC attacks!¨ Then, he saw me watching him and went back to shouting at me. ¨Hey! You! Forget I said anything about MAGIC!¨ he quickly recovered. This continued on with me talking, the dummy sending his army to attack for him, me dodging or getting hit, and some magic hitting the Mad Dummy.

Then, sporadically, he changed the regular dummies to robot dummies. He said they were useless and horrible at aiming so he fired the normal ones. The bots shot missiles at me and would charge at me. I dodged them as well, with some hits along the way. I ate some Bars to fill my HP and continued fighting. He got so frustrated with them hitting him and not me that he sent them off.

¨(N.....no way! These guys are even WORSE than the other guys!)¨ He pulled his attention towards me. Blood dripping down my knees and cuts covering my body. I struggled to stay up from all of the attacks. He exclaimed angrily at me, ¨Who cares. Who cares! WHO CARES!! I DON'T NEED FRIENDS!!!¨ He took out a knife and had a murderous grin plastered on his clothed face.

¨I'VE GOT KNIVES!!!¨ he shouted and threw the knife at me. I threw myself onto the floor, despite the pain resulting in this. The blood coming from my body changed the waters color to red. I looked up and he looked embarrassed.

¨I'm......... Out of knives.¨ He looked at me frantically and madly. His eyes showing hatred, bloodlust, and insanity. I gulped, knowing I might not survive with his determination to kill me. 'Well, I might not keep your promise after all, Naomi.........' I laughed softly and started to cry. 'I-I don't want to die! I w-was so c-close!!...........T......T-There has to be someone who cares to s-save me..........There has to......'

¨IT DOESN'T MATTER!!! YOU CAN'T HURT ME AND I CAN'T HURT YOU! YOU'LL BE STUCK FIGHTING ME............ Forever. Forever! FOREVER!!!!¨ he shouted and started laughing like a mad man. A few tears streamed down my cheeks and I hid myself in my arms, waiting for my death, reluctantly..............It never came. All I could hear was the sound of shrieking from the Mad Dummy.

¨W......What the heck is this!? Ergh! Acid rain!?! Oh, FORGET IT! I'm outta here!¨

Despite not hearing the insane dummy's voice, I still hid myself between my legs and whimpered. Then, a familiar voice softly spoke to me.

¨..............sorry, i interrupted you, didn't i?¨ he sighed. I looked up and I saw Napstablook, floating in front of me. I smiled and laughed happily. He looked concerned at me.

¨..........hey, are you-¨ I interrupted him with a huge hug and started to cry into his ghost shoulder. I felt so happy! So alive! More alive than ever before!!!

¨Yes..............I'm okay.¨ I smiled, hugging him tighter. My tears coming back and falling with pure joy.
