Although there was what looked like a golf challenge to do, I ignored its calling and continued to head East. When I got to a pair of sentry stations, I decided to read the sign, just in case there were any clues.

SMELL DANGER RATING:

SNOW SMELL: Snowman White rating can become yellow rating.Unsuspicious Smell: Puppy Blue rating Smell of rolling around.Weird Smell: Humans GREEN Rating Destroy at all costs!

I flinched as I read the final sentence. 'They're not so good now, are they? Down here, it's kill or be killed.' I thought about what Chara told me. Why would they have that kind of sign if they cared about humans? Are they really bad people? I shook my head in disbelief. No, that can't be it. Something deeper must be playing out in here. It has to. I shrugged off the child's comment and went back to the Nice-Cream area to find anywhere else to go; keeping the signs advice in mind. As I went down and made a left to another path, I heard the all too familiar voice of a certain skeleton scream to me.

¨HUMAN!!! I HOPE YOU'RE READY FOR............¨ Papyrus was about to announce but looked down at the floor to see a piece of paper in the middle of the bare square path. I raised a brow; wondering if this paper has something hard written on it or if it's something else. But, whatever it is, Papyrus does not look too happy about it. 'This must be Sans' puzzle.' I thought to myself.

¨SANS!! WHERE'S THE PUZZLE!!!¨

¨it's right there. on the ground. trust me. there's no way they can get past this one.¨ Sans said calmly, gesturing me to try out the 'puzzle'. As I walking towards the paper, I picked it up and turned it around to see it's a word search. I giggled at the puzzle and started to solve the puzzle with a pencil from my backpack. It was a little hard since the random words were hurting my brain and my eyes, but I was able to finish it. I took the piece of paper and handed it to Sans, who raised an eyebrow and smiled. The same couldn't be said of Papyrus.

¨SANS!!! THAT DIDN'T DO ANYTHING!¨

¨whoops. i knew i should have used today's crossword instead.¨

¨WHAT!? CROSSWORD!? I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU SAID THAT!! IN MY OPINION............JUNIOR JUMBLE IS EASILY THE HARDEST.¨ Uh oh. Here comes the fight.

¨what? really, dude? that easy peasy word scramble? that's for baby bones.¨

¨UN. BELIEVABLE.¨ Papyrus responded to his brother, ¨HUMAN!!! SOLVE THIS DISPUTE!¨ I froze in place as both skeletons stared me down. This is hard, I really don't do puzzles. The only puzzle I do are the ones with the little pieces where you had to make a picture. But, if I had to choose one...............

¨I say Crossword is harder.¨ I answered, twiddling with my thumbs. Papyrus looked at me weirdly while Sans gave me a thumbs-up.

¨YOU TWO ARE WEIRD! CROSSWORDS ARE SO EASY. IT'S THE SAME SOLUTION EVERY TIME. I JUST FILL ALL THE BOXES IN WITH THE LETTER 'Z'...... BECAUSE EVERYTIME I LOOK AT A CROSSWORD......... ALL I CAN DO IS SNORE!!!¨ At that, Papyrus left without saying another word. I looked to the shorter skeleton to see if he had anything to say.

¨papyrus.............. finds difficulty in interesting places. yesterday he got stumped trying to 'solve' a horoscope.¨ Sans joked, pushing his shoulder on mine playfully. I laughed at that and held onto Sans to keep my balance; making the skeleton laugh with me. I managed to choke out a question afterwards.

¨So, is Papyrus your younger brother?¨ I asked, wiping a tear from my eye.

¨yea, why? because i'm shorter?¨

¨Yes and No. Yes because all older siblings will be smaller than their younger ones. And, no because you have that big brother vibe to ya.¨ He smiled and looked across the trees; into the sky. Sans seemed to be deep in thought. 'I wonder what he's thinking about.' Then, another question popped up as I watched the skeleton think.

¨Sans?¨ He hummed a yes as he continued to gaze at the 'stars'. I took a deep breath and walked next to him. I have to ask him; I really need to know. ¨Have you ever met a human before?¨ He tensed up at my question and his eyes looked down at the ground. I felt like I hit a nerve and I felt extremely bad.

¨I'm sorry! I-I shouldn't have asked that. I'll go!¨ I said and speed-walked away from the scene. I heard Sans calling me but I refused to look back. I can't believe I did that! I should've known monsters would be sensitive about stuff like that. On the other hand, Sans looked sad, not upset. It almost looked like...........something bad happened with a human. I returned my focus on where I was going.

'Ugh! I am so insensitive!' I cried to myself.

'Gosh, give me a break with your whining! It's not that bad!'

'I hurt him! I have a reason to cry about it!' I told her off, a few tears falling down. I have always been emotional especially if I caused the pain or someone hurt me. It's nothing unusual, just hormones. I heard Chara groan at my response.

'How are you supposed to survive down here if you're so gosh darn unstable?!' She makes a pretty good point. If I let my emotions control me, I might, eventually, kill out of frustration. That is something that CANNOT happen. I have to learn how to control myself under extreme pressure. But, the question is: How? As I thought about different ways to keep my feelings at bay, I encountered the next puzzle. There were three things in place: a microwave, a table with a plate of spaghetti on it, and a note. After marking on a map where I was, I grabbed the note and read while walking towards the spaghetti.

I smile at his note and kept it in my pocket; trying to get the spaghetti to the microwave. What? It's not nice to deny a delicious gift, even if it IS a trap. I tried grabbing it but it looks like it is frozen on the table. After internally crying for no food, I went about my way to the East. Man, I wish I could eat Papyrus' spaghetti; it is probably delicious. I made it to an empty space that only has a sign. The sign reads:

Warning: Dog Marriage

'Dog marriage?.........Chara?' 'You don't want to know. Besides, you'll find out sooner or later.' Ugh, why doesn't she just tell me!!! I went down a path and saw a row of spikes and something covered in snow. Knowing that I might need to find a button in the snow, I dug in the snow to look for it. At that moment, I couldn't control the inner kid and started rolling around in the snow. I laughed as I made a snow angel and threw snowballs in the air, making them fall on my face. After searching and playing, I found, instead of a button, I found a map that has an 'X' between three rocks. After going up the path and between two pine trees, I searched through the snow and found a switch hidden. I flipped it and a clicking sound resonated from where the spikes were.

I ran down and, to my expectations, the spikes were lowered. It's almost like what Toriel showed me. I grinned at the thought of the kind goat monster. But, as I was going to walk down, my thoughts were interrupted by the sounds of footsteps. Coming towards me were two dogs with black cloaks and long axes. I stood still, hoping these dogs are just like Doggo. They got closer to me and finally spoke when one was on my left and the other on the right.

¨What's that smell?¨

¨Where's that smell?¨

¨If you're a smell.........¨

¨identify yoursmellf!¨

That is when they started sniffing around until they came back to me.

¨Hmmm......... Here's that weird smell............It makes me want to eliminate.¨

¨Eliminate YOU!¨

They flipped up there hoods and got ready to attack. One was clearly a female and the other is a male. That must be what the two signs meant. 'Nah, really?! You THINK?!' I ignored Chara and got myself ready for attacks. I checked Dogamy and saw that he was the husband; plus, knows only what he smells. After checking him, they began to attack.

¨No. 2 Nuzzle Champs '98!!¨

¨Of course we were second.¨ At that, they threw hearts that were either white or blue. Remembering what Sans told me, I stood still and tried to aim for the blue hearts. When that attack was over, I decided not to CHECK on Dogaressa and allowed them to re-sniff me. But, they didn't seem happy by my smell. They attacked me again with hearts and, again, I dodged them easily. I decided to roll around in the dirt so that I could smell like a puppy like the sign said.

¨Don't touch my hot dog.¨

¨He means me.¨ And they started slicing me with their axes. Sadly, though, I got hit several times and my HP went down to 9; making me worried. I decided to eat a Nice-Cream and, luckily, my HP maxed out. I had them re-sniff me again; to know if I am alright to them.

¨What! Smells like a...........¨

¨Are you actually a little puppy!?¨Although I smelled like a puppy, they tried hitting me again with axes and caused my HP to go down to 10. Because I already rolled around in the dirt, I decided to pet Dogamy.

¨Wow!!! Pet by another pup!!!¨

¨Well. Don't leave me out!¨

They used the same attack but, this time, I was able to dodge them simply. And, better news, I am able to spare them! After sparing them, they talked to me before leaving.

¨Dogs can pet other dogs???¨

¨A new world has opened up for us.........¨

¨Thanks, weird puppy!¨

I felt satisfied with what I accomplished today and decided to eat the last Nice-Cream I got. After gobbling down that frozen dessert, I went down and found, not to my surprise, another puzzle.

'Whelp, it's puzzle time!'
