#9 : Unexpected
The trip from Cheshire to London didn't take much time, but it was still tiring for Taylor. Moreover, the next day, Harry had to start working again, even though they arrived in London late at night.
"Are you sure you want to go to the office tomorrow? You can take the day off for just one day. We just arrived." Taylor said, when they got home. Harry appears to be carrying their luggages and he places it the in the corner of the room. Harry sighed.
"The longer I leave the office, the more my work is delayed. The more I have to do, the less I can be at home."
Taylor sighed before smiling faintly. "But don't pressure yourself too much, okay? If you're feeling tired, take a nap. And don't forget to have lunch." Taylor's said. Harry nodded and walked over to his wife. Harry embraces Taylor.
"Can we go to our room and sleep now? I'm sleepy. We'll talk again tomorrow." Harry pleaded. Taylor nodded and let Harry lead the way into their bedroom.
Harry and Taylor changed their clothes into cotton pajamas before climbing into bed and lying and just staring into each other's eyes.
"Tay," Harry called suddenly.
"Yes?" Taylor asked.
"I wasn't kidding with what I said earlier, I'm serious. I want to have children with you. Don't you want to have children too?" Harry asked as his burly hands gently stroked his wife's face. Taylor didn't refuse Harry's caresses at all.
"Harry, believe me when I say that I entrust my future with you. Including building a happy family consisting of you, me and some children. I also want to have children with you." Taylor replied back. Her blue eyes sparkled as she stared deeply into Harry's eyes. She took a breath and let it out slowly.
"But, I'm not sure if I'm ready to be a mother. I'm afraid that I wouldn't be a good mother to our children."
Harry smiled thinly. His hand was still stroking Taylor's cheek gently. "You'll definitely be a good mother, I'm sure."
Taylor kept silent, Harry could see the fear in her eyes. Harry pulled the blanket over them so that it covered half of their bodies.
Harry smiled broadly at Taylor before saying, "Good night, love. Sweet dreams. I love you."
Harry turned off the lights in their room, and without waiting for Taylor's reply, he already drifted off into his deep sleep.

The next day, Harry wakes up early in the morning, which was new and unusual. Harry glanced at the alarm clock on his right side table. Harry sighed. The clock showed that it was only five o'clock in the morning.
What made Harry Styles wake up that early? Usually, Harry gets up at seven in the morning, but sometimes he'd wake up at six o'clock, but that was on rare occasions. What's clear is that Taylor always wakes up earlier than Harry.
Harry changed his position and sat up on the bed. His green eyes landed on Taylor who was fast asleep. Harry smiles. Harry always liked seeing Taylor's sleeping face. And Harry thought to himself that waking up earlier than usual isn't so bad after all.
Harry briefly kissed Taylor's cheek before getting out of bed. Harry walked out of the room and headed to his office room.
In their magnificent house, Harry has no servants at all. It's because Taylor doesn't want to have any servants around the house. Taylor wants to do the household chores on her own. But just in case, Harry hires five people to guard his house from outside.
Harry opened the door to his study and immediately turned on the lights when he got inside. Harry looked at his desk which still looked neat. There are several files on the table.
Harry walked to the fax machine and found a paper lying there. There are several fax shipments from Styles Enterprise. Harry grabs the papers and walks to his swivel chair. Harry sat on the chair while reading the paper. That important paper is about the company's activities for the past three days. Harry did ask Emily to take care of everything when he and Taylor were on a vocation.
After reading the paper, Harry turns on the laptop on the table and opens his email account. There were lots of inboxes. Harry scrolled and skimmed down through his emails, until his eyes found and landed on a strange email unlike of his any other emails. It was an email from someone with an email address that Harry doesn't know or recognize at all.
And the e-mail read; Be careful. Your worst enemy can sometimes be your best friend.
Harry frowned. What does the message mean? Who sent it? How could this person know Harry's e-mail address, when not a lot of people doesn't even know his email address. Question after question came into Harry's mind, until finally he heard the door creak open. Harry turned his gaze to the door and found Taylor was there. Harry smiled.
"Hey," Harry said, standing up and immediately walking towards the door to help Taylor open the door wider and inviting his wife to sit on the couch in the study.
His workspace inside their house was indeed quite large and if Harry were to choose, he'd love to work here instead, however his workspace here doesn't have a large cabinet that contains the employees files.
"I woke up and you weren't beside me. So I decided to look for you. I saw the light seeping from under the door and I concluded that you were here. I guess I was right." Taylor said proudly. Harry chuckled.
"Yes, of course. What do you think I would be doing at five o'clock in the morning besides checking work? "
"I don't know, you might be watching tv." Taylor shrugged.
"There aren't any interesting tv shows this early in the morning. Usually, it'll only be yesterday's summary news or a rerun." Harry said.
"All right, I'll prepare breakfast. You can continue working for a while, before taking a shower and getting ready." Taylor got up from the couch she was sitting on. Harry could only nod in agreement.
Harry isn't in a good mood to even ask Taylor for a good morning kiss. Because Harry has a lot of work to do today, but what's bothering him the most is the mysterious and unknown email that he received a while ago.

"Sorry, I can't handle everything all by myself. You know that I'm still new here and this is my first time and experience on working as a personal assistant." Emily explained to Harry, after she had given him a pile of files that she had collected over the past three days.
Harry closed his eyes and nodded, trying not to let his frustration show. He didn't want to be angry right now, especially to the girl who he had been with close friends first.
"Thank you." Those were the only words that flowed out of Harry who began to open one file at a time and starting to read it.
Emily was still standing in front of Harry's desk, still confused about what Harry had said.
"Why are you thanking me? I just gave you more work to do and I'm barely even helping you." Harry closed the file that he was reading and looked at Emily.
"This is my consequence because I took a vacation all of a sudden. Now, go back to work. I'll study all of these files." Harry said firmly.
Emily nodded in resignation. She turned back and walked towards her desk. She glanced at Harry. For some reason, she felt like she missed the old figure of Harry. The Harry who was her close friend, the Harry who was always gentle and considerate of her. Not the cold Harry like now.
The office was very quiet for Emily. She felt like she was cooped up inside, all alone. Even though Harry was sitting quietly in the same room as her, still busy working on a file. Occasionally Emily would glance at her childhood best friend. Harry's face looked too serious, and all of a sudden, the past memories of their childhood came rushing back to Emily's head.
"Em, come on! We have to go, now! The toy shop will be closing at five o'clock, and it's now four!" Little Harry is busy whining to his best friend, Emily, who is busy writing something in her book. The little girl sighed and shook her head.
"You can't, Harry. Mom said I have to finish my assignment first, before I can go outside. Why don't you just invite Adam to go with you?"
Little Harry shook his head. "I don't want to invite him, I just want to go with you. Come on, Emily! The toys there are good! They have the latest and coolest games there! You'll regret it if you don't come with me." Little Emily chuckled.
"I'm not the one who'll regret it but you." Harry rolled his eyes.
"Whatever, let's just go! Don't force yourself to study too hard and overdo it. Mum or Dad never forced me to study like you."
"As far as I know, you never learn. You're often punished for not doing your homework!" Harry laughed at Emily's words.
"So what? I don't care about my homework. The important thing is that I can play all I want."
"You're fourteen years old, Harry! Stop playing around and learn to be serious!" Harry stared at his friend lazily.
"Being serious is boring. I don't want to be a serious person. And I'll never be a serious person."
Emily sighed as she remembered their good old simple days. It was Harry himself who said that he didn't want to be a serious person. But now, as Emily was looking at the man across from her, he looks very serious, as if he couldn't be bothered. For the first time in her life, Emily actually regretted that she told Harry to get serious.
Emily glanced at the clock on the wall of the room. It was already twelve o'clock in the afternoon. That means it's lunch time. Emily got up from her chair and walked over to Harry's desk. Harry probably didn't even noticed that Emily was walking towards him because his eyes were still glued on to his laptop screen. Emily took a deep breath and slowed her breath before calling out his name.
"Harry."
Without looking or even sparing a glance at her, Harry said, "If you want to take your lunch, hurry up. Be back before one o'clock, as usual."
The brunette haired girl sighed. Harry was so serious and focused on his work, he didn't even looked at Emily for a second.
Emily bit her lower lip before asking, "Aren't you going to have lunch? How about we have lunch together? I can order food so we can eat here."
Harry shook his head. "No, thanks. Please take your lunch."
Emily was already getting furious at Harry's current attitude. Emily squinted before saying in a stern tone, "I want to have lunch with you, Harry. Now, forget your work and let's get out of here."
After ignoring Emily for a few moments, Harry finally tore his gaze from the laptop screen and looked at Emily.
"Haven't I told you before? You can eat lunch by yourself and don't bother me. I have to finish all this today." Harry pressed every word he said. Emily was quite surprised, but she shook her head, not wanting to lose or to give up that easily.
"You'll get sick if you don't eat lunch! Just leave it! You can do it again tomorrow!" Emily ordered. Harry chuckles.
"You're not the one who's supposed to give orders around here, Miss. Thompson. Hurry up and get out, before I lose my patience at you."
Emily chuckled. "So you're going to get mad at me? Please, go ahead. I want to see how far you've changed." Emily folded her arms in front of her chest. Harry squinted.
"What do you mean?"
"You've changed, Harry."
"Emily, get out! You know how I act when I get angry. " Harry's teeth clenched while Emily smiled sardonically.
"What are you going to do if you'll get mad? I'm curious, to see on how far you've changed just because you have a wife. I can't believe that you let that woman change you." Harry grew even more furious at Emily, hearing her say horrible things about his wife makes Harry lose his patience even more.
"Don't ever bring up things that aren't true about my wife." Harry grunted and threatened.
Emily increasingly couldn't believe what she was hearing. Harry threatened her. It was the first time her best friend threatened her.
"It's up to you. I really don't know her, but it seems like she really satisfies you." Emily smiled sardonically again. Harry furrowed and slightly widened his eyes at what Emily said.
"I hope you aren't rude to her and don't force her to have sex, just like what you did a few years ago, before leaving me all alone and disappearing me from your world. But isn't that what you often do with other girls? You have fun and then you just forget about it."
Emily turned around and she was suddenly frozen when she saw who was standing at the doorway of the entrance. Harry who initially had his focus on Emily, began to freeze from his spot to see who was standing at the entrance.
It was none other than Taylor.
How long has Taylor been standing there? Why were Harry and Emily not aware of Taylor's existence at all?
Taylor seemed to lower her eyes and Harry could clearly see her body slightly shaking. Taylor placed the plastic bag she was holding and dropped it on the small table near her.
"I-I brought lunch for you." Her voice trembled.
Before Harry could even say anything, Taylor turned around and closed the door. Taylor walked quickly to leave the room.
Harry immediately got up from his swivel chair and ran after Taylor, continuing to call her name. Emily looked at the open door that Harry had just passed. Emily lowered her head and tears escaped from her eyes and rolled down on her cheeks.
