#4 : Cheshire

"Harry!"

After calling his name several times, Harry finally opened his eyes. The young man's breath was irregular, cold sweat beads formed on his forehead. His eyes wandered before stopping at the figure of his wife who was looking at him with an anxious look. Harry sighed in relief before reaching for Taylor's body, and wrapping his arms around her. Taylor hugged Harry back, stroking Harry's back gently.

"Did you have a bad dream?" Taylor asked worriedly. Taylor was awoken from her sleep when she heard Harry continuously yelling in his sleep.

"I'm sorry, did I disturbed your sleep? " Harry closed his eyes, leaning his chin on Taylor's shoulder. Taylor shook her head, still hugging Harry tightly.

"Are you all right?" Taylor asked softly. Harry sighed again and nodded slowly.

"I'm fine, really." Taylor withdraws from Harry hug. Staring at Harry's face, which was quite sweaty.

"I'll make you some hot chocolate." Taylor said and she was about to out of bed when  Harry held her arm.

"Taylor, I'm fine, really. You don't need to make me anything. " Taylor shakes her head and removes Harry's hand on her arm.

"Shut it, Harry. I'll make you some hot chocolate. I'll be back soon, okay?" Harry finally gave up and nodded in agreement. Taylor immediately got out of bed and walked out of the room.

Shortly after, Taylor reappeared while carrying two cups of hot chocolate. Taylor sat on the edge of the bed and handed Harry a cup. Harry reached for it with a faint smile, "Thank you, love."

Harry slowly took a sip of the hot chocolate before laying it on the bedside table.

"I don't know what you're dreaming about, but it must be very bad, considering at how you were screaming like that." Taylor said as she also placed her cup of hot chocolate on the table. Harry nodded slowly.

"It seems so. But I don't really want to talk about it."

Taylor climbed back into bed and approached Harry. Harry put his arm around Taylor's shoulder.

"Maybe you're too tired. Didn't I told you not to force yourself to work too much?" Taylor asked, tracing the butterfly tattoo that Harry has on his stomach with her fingernail. Harry always slept without wearing any shirts, he'll either only wear pajama shorts or boxers.

"I don't know. I've never had a nightmare before." Harry replied as his fingers played with Taylor's short blonde hair. Taylor rested her head on Harry's chest.

"What if you don't have to work tomorrow? We can take a short vacation, so your mind can take a break from work and you'll be a little more relaxed." Harry thought for a moment before nodding his head.

"Sure. I'll call my assistant later." Harry said as he kissed the top of Taylor's head.

"Now, go to sleep, Taylor. You need sleep. Sorry for waking you up." Taylor nodded and began to close her eyes.

"I love you." Taylor said while a smile formed on Harry's lips, hearing Taylor say those special three words to him always makes his heart flutter. No matter how many times she'll say it, the butterflies in his stomach always finds a way on how to flutter inside.

"I love you more, Taylor."

The next day, Harry really didn't go to the office. Harry gets up early, as usual and Harry immediately called Emily and asks Emily to handle some work that at least she can do.

"Are you going to sleep all day in bed?"

Harry, who had just finished contacting Emily, turned his head when he heard a voice. Taylor stood at the doorway of the room and she already looked very tidy early in the morning. Harry smiled at Taylor.

"I've already made a plan about what we're going to do today." Harry said as he sat on the edge of the bed, while he was still shirtless. Taylor squinted her eyes.

"Oh really? And what is that?" Taylor asked curiously.

"How about going to Cheshire? I have a lot of things that might interest you." Harry suggested. Taylor smiled and nodded her head enthusiastically.

"Yes, of course! When do we leave? " Taylor asked. Harry began to smirk.

"After you give me my good morning kiss." Taylor grinned.

"Yeah, after you take a shower that is. All right, I'll make breakfast first and I'll wait for you downstairs." Taylor turned and walked away from her room and Harry.

Arriving in the kitchen, Taylor immediately cooked their breakfast. Today, Taylor cooked some pumpkin soup for breakfast with Harry.

About twenty minutes later, the soup was ready and Taylor served it in two medium-sized bowls. Taylor brought the two bowls in a tray and placed it on the the dining table. After that, Taylor made some hot coffee for her and Harry.

Shortly thereafter, Harry appeared. His hair was still a bit damp and a smile adorned his handsome face. Harry wore a turquoise green shirt and a pair of jeans. He was really ready just like that.

"What are we having for breakfast today?"  Harry asked, staring at the dining table. His hand pulled the chair beside Taylor, for him to sit on. Taylor smiled.

"I hope you like pumpkin soup." Taylor said. Harry chuckled.

"I like whatever cooking you cook, babe." Harry briefly glanced at Taylor and winked before beginning to devour the soup that Taylor had prepared.

"What are we going to do in Cheshire, Harry?" Taylor asked after she she gulped down her. Harry stopped eating and looked at his wife.

"To have fun? I also want to introduce you to the place where I was born, considering that we had had a great time in Nashville."

"Did you tell your relatives we're going to Cheshire? I mean, your plan was just all of a sudden. What if they aren't ready to accept our arrival?" Taylor asked again. Harry chuckled.

"Of course it won't be like that. There are only Grandma, Gemma and John and their families there. They'll surely be happy to see us there." Harry tried to convince Taylor. Taylor nodded in understanding.

"And what about your work?"

"It's all taken care of. I can still control the office remotely. I asked Emily to send me emails about what's happening in the company."Harry explained. Taylor frowned.

"Emily?"

"Ah, yes, didn't I tell you? Emily is my new assistant. She's my childhood friend I was talking to you about." Harry explained again with a wide smile on his lips.

Taylor just kept silent. Why hasn't Harry ever told Taylor that he has a friend named Emily?

Taylor chose not to continue asking questions and continued with her breakfast.

After traveling for several hours in the car that Harry was driving, they finally arrived at Chesire. The car that Harry was driving stopped at a large house, however it seemed very environmentally friendly.
Around the house, there are several large trees. And the distance of the other neighboring houses is also quite far.

"Welcome to Cheshire."

Harry told Taylor, who was still staring in amazement at the big house. Taylor turned to Harry, who smiled broadly at her.

"Is this your house?" Taylor asked enthusiastically. Harry shook his head.

"No, it's not. This is Grandma's house." Harry took off his seat belt. After that, Harry helped Taylor take off her seat belt.

"Let's go out. I called Gemma earlier. She's gone out and said she'll will be back before dinner." Harry informed. Taylor nodded before rushing to open the car door. Harry did the same thing. Both of them get out of the car.

Harry took Taylor's hand into the mansion. They just arrived at the small steps that leads towards the house when suddenly the door to the house opened. An old woman whom Taylor could conclude was Harry's grandmother ran with great enthusiasm towards Harry, making Harry almost stumble backwards.

"Harry!"

"Grandma!"

They both said in unison while hugging each other. Taylor smiles while seeing them.

Harry's grandmother looked very excited and ageless. Taylor had never met her. Even at their wedding, Harry's grandmother couldn't come for an apparent reason.

"And this is the girl you've been talking about, Harry?"

Taylor's reverie dispersed as Harry's grandmother turned to look at her. Taylor hurriedly put on an awkward smile. Harry's grandmother smiled back and rushed to hug Taylor briefly. Taylor had to bend down slightly as Harry's grandmother cupped her face and continued to shower Taylor with kisses on her right and left cheek.

"Grandma, stop kissing her like that. I've never kissed her that much" Harry's grandmother stopped kissing Taylor when she heard Harry's voice.

The woman over sixty chuckled before pulling Harry's arm and pushed Harry to stand next to Taylor. Grandma took a few steps back before squinting, watching Harry and Taylor in detail. Taylor gives Harry a look as if to say 'what is she doing?' And Harry answers by shrugging his shoulders.

"You two are very compatible. I can't believe what I'm seeing right now." Grandma said, smiling broadly.

Harry chuckled while Taylor smiled faintly, lowering her head and trying to hide her reddened cheeks at Grandma's opinion. Grandma walked to Taylor and invited Taylor in, saying, "You must be tired after a long journey from London. I'll prepare food for you, beautiful young lady. "

Harry frowned. He himself, who was a grandchild of his own grandmother have never been treated as sweet as that.

Finally, Harry could only follow from behind, grumbling under. While Taylor was occasionally stealing glances at Harry and sticking out her tongue playfully, as if she was teasing Harry.
