Kat and Dahlia decide to meet Adylen first as the two detectives knock on the door, in which Adylen opens the door to see the two ladies.

"Oh, hello?" Adylen said to Kat and Dahlia as the two detectives show Adylen their badges.

"Hello, Mrs. Barrett, I'm detective Kat Bailey, and this is my partner, Dahlia. We are wondering if we can we talk to you about your late husband, Mike Heatherson?" Kat asked Adylen.

Adylen heart was stopped when she heard 'late' when it came to Mike, her husband, where Adylen always thinks that he was kidnapped and not just vanished.

"S..sure." Adylen responded as she opened the door to let Kat and Dahlia in.

Kat and Dahlia sit down in the table as Adylen give them a cup of coffee before talking about what happened to Mike.

"Mrs. Barrett, do you know about your husband before he disappeared on February 25th?" Dahlia asked Adylen.

"Yes." Adylen responded, trying her best not to cry when it comes to Mike.

Dahlia feels bad for Adylen when it comes to Mike, and when it comes to a family member or husband/wife to talk about the victim, it is tough to them.

"I..I was working late tonight, same with my husband, and where that we decided to have dinner after working, but Mike called me thatvhe was gonna to hang out with his friends and I was okay with it. When I came home, Mike was here, and I thought he was staying with his friends, but I started to get worry when he didn't come home in the morning." Adylen explains to Kat and Dahlia.

"Did you call anyone after his disappearance?" Dahlia asked Adylen.

Adylen nodded as she continued.

"Yes, Mike's cousin, EP, and I did ask him if he have seen Mike, but EP told me that he didn't see him, but EP and Mike make up before Mike disappeared." Adylen finishes as she begins to cry.

Dahlia gives Adylen a tissue and hugs her as Adylen continues to cry.

Kat finished writing down the notes of any evidence for the case, but think of something as she gets another photo, in which it is a picture of another woman.

"I'm sorry that this is tough, but before we go, do you know anything about this woman?" Kat asked as she gave the picture to Adylen.

Adylen can feel the rage in her as of now when she sees the picture of a woman, and she tries her best to hide her rage from the detectives.

"Oh yeah, I do. It's Scarlett Hope, and it happened in 2006, after Mike won his third award at the male beauty pageant, and that bitch become to get flirty with my husband. I can feel the jealous and rage from her." Adylen said to Kat as Adylen tried to calm down.

"Really?" Dahlia said to Adylen.

"Yes, sorry, but I just can't stand of this lady, where she and Mike are together through 2006." Adylen said to Dahlia.

Kat nodded of where Adylen talked about Scarlett, in which Kat and Dahlia were about to talk to next.

Scarlett and one of Mike's co-workers, Robert Lodges, are sleeping in bed, which is where there is a knock on the door at Scarlett's apartment.

Scarlett woke up from the knock as she got her jacket and opened the door, in which it was Kat and Dahlia.

"Hello, are you Scarlett Hope?" Kat asked Scarlett.

"Yeah?" Scarlett asked in confusion.

Kat and Dahlia take Scarlett to the intervention room as they are gonna ask Scarlett about Mike.

"So what is this about, detectives?" Scarlett asked Kat and Dahlia as she planned with the handcuffs, in which Scarlett was cuff to the table.

Kat knew that Adylen is not a big fan of Scarlett when it comes to Scarlett and where Kat also thinks that Mike, Scarlett, and Adylen are in some kind of love triangle before Mike vanished.

"Well, it'd about Mike Heatherson, and we both know that you have some connections to him." Dahlia said to the Burnette girl.

Scarlett was confused about what Dahlia and Kat are talking about when it comes to Mike.

"What do you mean?, Mike Heatherson?, the hottest beauty king in Golden Edge?" Scarlett asked the two detectives.

"Yes, but we also learn about you before his disappearance, Mrs. Hope." Kat said as she was about to get angry about where Scarlett didn't get a point.

Scarlett sees a picture of Mike on the table as well as a picture of Mike's body at the graveyard, which makes Scarlett's eyes went widen.

'Oh shit, he's dead.' Scarlett thought to herself.

"Mike Heatherson was a successful doctor in his life, but he was also a perfect beauty king in 'Golden Edge', that was until he disappeared on February 25th, and three weeks later, we was found dead." Kat explains to Scarlett.

Scarlett eyes are wide from the details that Kat explains, but mostly to say something that surprised Dahlia.

"Well, I was shocked, but I was not there the night he disappeared, but on the night he disappeared, I was going to pick my new boyfriend up after breaking up with Mike, but when I pickup my new boyfriend, Tyler, he didn't come and that was until the next day, my friends tell me that he was killed by a serial killer and luckily, I was never a suspect, and also Tyler is not one of the victims to the killer that you are looking for." Scarlett finished explaining her story to Kat.

Dahlia was frozen of what happened, and when it comes to Scarlett late boyfriend, Tyler, but surprised that he was not the victim to the killer that she and Kat are looking for.

"Oh, but we will be right back." Dahlia said to Scarlett as she got Kat by the shoulder and left the intervention room.

~ January 2nd, 2006 ~

Mike took a shower and put on his clothes as he got ready for Cody and Robert to come over to the apartment.

"I will camp out with a friend. Are you sure that you will be okay?" Adylen asked Mike in a worry way.

Mike looks at his wife as he puts down a book that he is reading after taking a shower and walks up to her from his chair.

"I will be, plus Cody and Robert are coming cover, I will be fine." Mike said to Adylen.

Adylen has a little worry about her husband and how he was acting like someone was following him.

"Okay, but I will see you tomorrow." Adylen responded as she kissed him and left the apartment.

Mike feels like he doesn't know what to do, but he decides to read his book, that is, until he hears a noise from his and Adylen's bedroom.

Mike quickly gets a knife from the kitchen as he is using it with self-defense, but when he gets to the bedroom, he is hit by something.

Everything went black

● Later ●

As Cody and Robert come to visit to hang out with Mike, all they see that the apartment is empty, but that was not true, where Mike called them to hang out before Mike take a shower early.

"Robbie, how about we look around." Cody said to Robert.

"Yeah, good idea." Robert agrees as the two best friends look for Mike.

After looking around the apartment, they give up, but that is until they realize that they should check the bedroom, but when they go to the bedroom, they are shocked that they found Mike.

Mike was found bound with rope and gagged as a cloth was wrapped around his neck.

"Oh shit!, Mike!" Robert yelled as he and Cody quickly untied Mike from his bondage and got the cloth off of his neck.

"Oh my god, Mike, are you okay?" Cody asked Mike as Mike woke up, but can't remember what happened.

"Yea, but I don't know what happened, and why my head hit by something like a train." Mike said to Cody and Robert.

This makes both Cody and Robert worry about their friend and his safety.
