~ 3 Weeks Later ~

A newspaper was thrown on the street that had a picture of Mike on the front covers as the title topic on the news that says:

'FORMER DOCTOR AND BEAUTY KING: STILL MISSING'

That is also where Kat Bailey is getting ready for her first day as a detective after her father retirement.

Kat loves to be a detective when she was a child, and it was finally a dream come true for her. As she saw her father at the door, she got excited and hugged her dad.

"Hey, pops." Kat said as she and her father, Thomas, finish hugging.

Thomas chuckles a bit as he is proud that his daughter is becoming a detective that she has been wanting to do, and although he does not with her when Kat was little, he do sure that Kat loves when he give her puzzles and mystery games that they both like to do as father and daughter.

"How is my best daughter doing? You know that I was proud of you?" Thomas asked Kat.

"Yea, but I'm gonna be late, but I might miss you as a detective, dad." Kat said as she got her grey jacket on.

"Yea, but I hope you have fun with your first day of your job." Thomas said to his daughter.

Kat quickly gets her car keys from the kitchen counter and leaves the house, where her neighbor, Andrew Samuel, sees the brunette woman.

"Going to your first job, Ms. Bailey?" Andrew asked.

Kat turned to Andrew and said, "Yea, but have a good day, Andrew."

Andrew smiled as Kat got in her car and went to the place where she works now.

Kat finally made it to Golden Edge Police Station, where she saw other cops and detective are here, either on their desk or having their meeting.

The police chief, Officer Holt, sees Kat as he turns his attention to the other detectives in the room.

"Oh, everyone, we have a new detective to our group, everyone, meet Katherine Bailey." Officer Holt said to the other cops and detective as Kat nodded as she saw everyone in the group.

Kat was sitting down at the tables as her new partner, and Holt also let her show Kat around Detective Dahlia Shockey.

"Okay, now, today, we have a new case that still rocks to this town, which is the late nurse and beauty king, Mike Heatherson.' Holt said to the group.

Holt then shows the group of pictures of Mike on the whiteboard, as in which the pictures are mostly of Mike as beauty king with his town with flowers that said, "Mr. USA' and where Mike is regular pictures of himself and friends.

"So, I did give any of you guys yet of the case, but I wanna tell you about more of the case, where we still got no answers." Holt said to the team.

"But as the meeting is over, Detective Shockey, can you show Detective Bailey of her desk?" Holt asked Dahlia.

Dahlia nodded.

Kevin still has no ideas of what happened to his son as he watches home videos of Mike when he was young and as an adult.

The last video that he is watching is where Mike is smiling and laughing, where he is with his family and with EP Roxas, Mike's cousin.

Kevin cries as the last tape is finished.

'After 3 weeks, the police still have no idea where Mike Heatherson is at, and the police also do not know if the case is kidnapping or something else...'

A young girl, Evelyn Munzo, was watching the news as she was a bit angry when she heard the name, but it stopped when her father came and turned off the TV.

"Eve, you should go outside and quit being angry so much." Evelyn's dad said as he left.

Evelyn signs and did leave the house, but get some roses and go to a graveyard.

The roses were put down on the tombstone as Evelyn signs and sees her mother's name on the tombstone.

Evelyn life was changed after the death of her mother as it was also challenging for Evelyn to get back on track in the family.

"I miss you, mom, sorry about everything." Evelyn said as she turned her hand into a fist, but stop when she took a deep breath.

Before Evelyn leaves, she sees something next to her mother's grave, in which it is a white cloth that is covering something.

But when Evelyn uncovered it, she was shocked and covered her nose from the bad smell that is also coming from, in which it is something of what everyone have been looking for in the past 3 weeks....

It was Mike's dead body.

Mike's body was in position and was also hogtied, where he was also gagged and had a cloth around his neck.

Evelyn can't help but is shocked when she sees the body and whether she is angry or shocked or not. She decided to call the police that is where Mike was found.

"Golden Edge's police station, how can we help you?" The caller said on the phone, where Evelyn called.

"I... I think I found something that you have been looking for." Evelyn said on the phone.
