kahlil is an extremely kind and caring person. he cares about other people like it's job, and he tries to me nice to everyone he meets. he does his best not to judge other people, and just be a nice person to everyone he can. of course, if they're being actively rude to him that's a different story, but we will get to that later. he sometimes cares about people too much, especially if you get close to him. he will protect you if he cares about you, and he will do basically anything to make you happy. he is a pretty emotional and empathetic person, and most of his emotions are found on his face. he doesn't like the fact that he shows every emotion he ever feels on his face, but it's not like he can do much to help it. even if he tries to hide his emotions, he can't hide the feelings in his eyes; they're too obvious. he is empathetic and cares about people in a way that he feels their feelings too. it just makes him want to do even more to help people with whatever he can.
kahlil is an energetic and active person. he doesn't like to sit still, so a lot of the times he will walk around in class and then go back to sit down after standing up for a while. he is also a pretty loud person and he can get a lot of people to listen to him if he tries. his energetic personality is pretty excitable, and he can get excited about things pretty easily. he is young for his class, so he isn't exactly as mature as everyone else. however, his excitement is usually contagious, and he can get other people excited along with him. kahlil has a good sense of humor and a great wit. he doesn't have a sarcastic sense of humor, but he can make other people laugh with his smart responses and quick wit.
kahlil respects authority and other people his age equally. his parents instilled a sense of respect in him and taught him to treat all people the same. but that doesn't mean he can't stand up for himself if he needs to. when people talk back to him or are rude to him, that triggers his short temper, and he gets angry pretty quickly. he also gets angry when he is feeling competitive and he is losing. he doesn't like to lose. kahlil is the kind of guy that when he isn't winning he will throw a tantrum and get very angry.
not many things get kahlil sad, but he will get upset when he feels like he isn't good enough. he is an overachiever and works harder than his body can handle to achieve the things that he wants. but he puts a lot of pressure on himself and when he isn't the best he gets actively upset. he just wants to be able to live up to the expectations that people have for him, like his older brothers. he's really just a softie who wants to be appreciated.

kahlil is physically very strong. he has a really muscular build and could take out anyone he needed to in a fight. he works out frequently for sports so his body is very toned. kahlil is a really charming and kind person. people usually like him and listen to him when he is speaking. he is a nice person so people usually try to be nice back to him. he is good at making friends and other just naturally like him. he is a natural leader, and he gets calm in stressful situations. he can take charge of a situation when he needs to and he's is good at it because people listen to him.

kahlil is a really really competitive person. and i mean really competitive. unhealthy competitive. he gets really angry and sometimes throws a tantrum. he gets really angry with himself when he doesn't come out on top. he likes to be the winner in everything he does, and sometimes he really overworks himself to get there. he is an overachiever to the highest degree, and puts himself under a lot of stress to be the best possible person in every aspect of his life. while this can be a good thing that he is motivated, he sometimes takes it to an unhealthy level where he is self deprecating and destructive. kahlil also has a bit of a temper and he can get really angry when people provoke him. he would never start a fight, but he would totally finish one if he had to.

backstory  ═ ∘♡༉∘ ═
     kahlil has had a pretty easy life. he was born to lamer and jasmine jones on august 12th a long 17 years ago. he is the youngest in his family, and he has 4 older brothers. his whole family is made of boys, basically, so they are all very sporty. his oldest brother, jamal, who is 28 now played football. his next oldest brother, izaak, is 25 and played basketball and did swimming. the middle brother, lemarcus, who is 23 played hockey and is playing professionally on their state team. and finally there is murphy, who is 20, and he played soccer and lacrosse. at the point he could start walking, kahlil was playing tons of different sports, but his best sports were basketball and lacrosse. of course, he already had older brothers who were amazing athletes in these same sports, so it wasn't anything very new.
     kahlil's family is very tight knit, and they love each other a lot. they have a bit of a chaotic household; they're always running around, late to things, or too many people. they aren't the kind of family that has sit down dinners and talks about their day. however now that kahlil is older, it's mostly just him and his parents who live in the house, along with his brothers murphy and lemarcus. murphy is in college and lemarcus is living at home until he can get his own place and the hockey season starts up again.
kahlil has had a very privileged life, and he is thankful for it, but that doesn't mean that he doesn't have problems. he basically lives in the shadow of 4 athletic, smart, and successful brothers, so no matter what he does, it's not really special. his parents love him just as much as everyone else, but he doesn't get the same special attention that his brothers did. nothing he ever does is new. but he is thankful for what he has and that he has a wealthy enough family.
