KURT: Kurt was the kind of parent that related to your child in ways you didn't know possible. Kurt was a very tender father, and had no shame in talking in his 'baby voice' to your daughter and making funny faces at her. He seemed to enjoy hanging out with his baby than normal grown adults, and no matter the time and place, he refused to put your daughter down. When she would cry at night, he'd be up right away, dashing to her room to lift her from her crib, swaying gently with her in his arms as he crooned a soft song to her to lull her back to sleep.

DAVE: Since Dave was a just a big kid in a grown man's body, he had no problem becoming the parent who basically became your daughter's best friend. He always volunteered himself as a member of tea parties or a canvas for play makeup. Dave's favorite thing to do with your daughter was to sit her on his lap and hand her his drumsticks, allowing her to pound out a noisy beat that usually left your ears ringing. But Dave never seemed to care just how loud your household he got. He would only laugh, his eyes twinkling at his most precious love in the whole world — you and his daughter.

KRIST: Krist is a very patient and protective parent. He prepared relentlessly ahead of time for his son's arrival, and wasted no time helping you make bottles, change diapers, and so forth. As your son grew older, Krist's patience never faltered. When he'd spend time rehearsing for Nirvana, your son would simply wrap himself around Krist's leg and stay there for the duration of the set. The worst was when Krist had to leave on tours — these goodbyes were especially painful for him, and he never got used to seeing his son cry over his departure.
