Chapter 1: 4th Marines find Hanzo Shinobi
Location: Somewhere near a old shrine in Handa, Japan
Date: November 28th, 1946, 1:37pm
If you asked someone what the biggest event was that had ended it would be the second world war. A total of 65,000,000 people had lost their lives to the conflict many families were shattered and broken at the lost of their loved ones. But there were many more that survived the war and could finally return to their families after a long time. But the dark thoughts of the war were still in the minds of many people even though it had been a year since the conflict was over when Japan surrendered to the allies officially ending the war on September 2nd 1945. Both Germany and Japan were now occupied by the allies to ensure that another war wouldn't break out.
(This is the shrine the Marines are at...just picture the trees and bushes not having any leaf's on them... )
Near one of the shrines of Handa Japan a squad of four US Marines from the 4th Marine regiment were sitting down near the old shrine talking about what they were going to do when they could have some leave to go visit loved ones. One of them was a 18 year old Private first class camera man who was new to the squad and didn't see and combat as he was too late to see any front line action so he didn't have any experience. His name was Andrew Thomas and he had joined the Marine corps when he graduated from high school to do his patriotic duty but was a little too late. (A/N: Or so he thought....)
(BTW: all of them are wearing this coat as it is close to winter time!)
(This is what Andrew looks like... just picture him wearing a combat coat along with the others!)
He was armed with a M1 Garand battle rifle..
And a 1911A1 Pistol...
"So this is a shrine huh?" Andrew asked as he took a picture from his camera as he wanted to do a little sight seeing. "Never thought I would get to see one."
"Yep, and apparently the Japs said that they were built to worship gods in a way." Another person in the squad said pulling out a cross on his neckless. "But in my opinion there's only one god, and he was with us to help win the war."
This mans name was Jerimiah Sweetwater, a 21 year old lance corporal and a veteran from Okinawa. He was a nice guy when you got to know him but he had a little bit of a grudge to the Japanese people after what they did at pearl harbor. He was also the Rocket launcher specialist of the group.
(This is what Jerimiah looks like...)
He was Armed with a M1918A2 BAR...
And a M1 Bazooka...
"Hey come on now Jerimiah, have some respect for their culture." Said another man in the squad who was Native American. This mans name was Akando Emani, a 23 year old Sargeant and a special radioman as he was one of many 'code talkers' in the Pacific theater. He was well respected by his comrades of his squad and his sharp aim with his weapon.
(This is what Akando looks like... )
He was armed with a M1 Carbine...
And a M1897 Trench gun...
"You know Akando is right Jerimiah, show a little respect to their culture." The leader said. "I know they used to be our enemy, but the war is over and we are in a time of peace, so don't break it."
The name of the leader was Mitchell Douglas a 26 year old Captain and a veteran from WW2. You see Mitchell was one of those people who lead by example and always got the men he lead back up and showed them how to fight, even if the situation felt hopeless. He had battled from the beaches and islands of the Philippines and helped win numerous battles and carried his family Union Calvary saber from his great grandfather from the American Civil war.
(This is Mitchell...)
He was Armed with a M1A1 Thompson SMG
A M1911A1 Pistol
And his Calvary Saber...
"The last thing we need is another war to break out because of a little disrespect." Mitchell pointed out.
"Man I was just joking!" Jerimiah tried to reason. "Don't take it seriously!"
Mitchell then heavily sighed as he looked at the ground and then the landscape that surrounded the shrine. He thought that the forested area made the perfect area to put the Japanese building as it was placed on a decent sized hill with a lot of trees, bushes, and boulders to hide the building from sight. He then saw Andrew walking off into the depths of the forest to see if more parts of the shrine were there.
"Andrew don't go too far!" Mitchell called out. "I don't need you getting lost out here!"
"I won't be too long Captain!" Andrew called back as he went into the woods. "Just a little bit of exploring!"
"*heavy sigh* just don't get yourself killed." Mitchell muttered. "Your too young for this."
Andrew then started walking into the forest always making little marks on branches, rocks, and the ground to ensure he would find his way back. The giant trees were blocking the view of the sky as it was covered by grey clouds. Christmas was just next month and the young Marine couldn't wait as it was a very happy time of the year and was excited that 1947 was just around the corner and he couldn't wait to see what the new year brought. However while he was in his thought he suddenly came across a rather opened area that had old grass almost like that area was meant to be a small opened campground.
'Hmm, I wonder why this area is open.' Andrew thought as he walked to the edge of the open area. But as he looked walked further into the open he then caught sight of a small cliff edge and gave him a view of the city below. 'Nice view.'
(This is his picture camera....)
(And this is his film camera... just picture it having a wooden handle on the bottom...)
He then took a picture of the view with his camera that he had on him and also Andrew had a video camera incase he wanted to catch something on video. After spending a few minutes in the little open area the young marine thought it was probably the time to get back to the squad so he wouldn't get in trouble. But as he started walking back he noticed that the grass in the center of the area was started to form ice on it at a very fast pace. This confused the young marine as he walked passed it figuring it was just his imagination and rubbed his eyes and looked away.
'Its a cold time of the year, its nothing.' Andrew thought. But as he neared the edge of the of the area the air around him suddenly got colder and Andrew tried to ignore it he glimpsed back in the center of the area and saw that more ice had covered the grass. Almost if by instinct the young marine pulled out his video camera and made sure that the film was ready and then took cover by a nearby boulder. 'Okay something tells me that this isn't normal around here.'
Then a small bright white light suddenly appeared in the center of the small grass field and that told him to start filming and the light soon got brighter and brighter to the point where the young marine had to close his eyes and look away to not become blind by the light but kept the camera pointed to where the light was. However after just about 30 seconds after the light going off it suddenly died down to the point where Andrew opened his eyes to see what the light had left. To his surprised there were six people in the center five of them were teenage girls around his age and a very muscular adult woman in her 20s and they looked like they had landed on their backs and they all suddenly slowly stood up from where they were. The 5 teenage girls wore some kind of school uniform and the adult woman was wearing a black open coat with black pants and a strange black hat.
(He saw team Hanzo...)
(And Daidouji...oh god what have I done? *Sweat drops from authors forehead*)
One detail that made the young marine blush was how cute and busty the girls were especially for their age. While the girls got up the marine camera man then stopped filming to save some of the film and then took out his photo camera to get a couple of pictures of the girls.
"(ugh... what was that bright light all about?)" The girl with brown hair asked she turned to her friends. "(Hey are you girls alright?)"
You see apart from being a new recruit Andrew also spoke fluent Japanese so he could help translate anything if his squad leader needed help translating something a Japanese soldier would say. As he stayed behind the boulder he listened to what the girls were going to say as he knew that these girls were anything but normal. A bunch a cute busty girls appearing from a bright light didn't seem very normal to the young marine as he listened.
"(Yes Asuka, we're fine.)" The girl with the long black hair replied to the girl now known as Asuka. "(But a better question is, where are we?)"
"(It looks like were in the middle of a opened forest area Ikagura.)" The blonde girl said to the long black hair girl now known as Ikagura. "(But how did a scroll take us here from the classroom?)"
"(I don't know Katsuragi, why don't you use that brain of yours and figure it out!)" The white hair girl with the eye patch said. "(I'm sure you could probably think of an explanation.)"
"(Yagyu, don't say such mean things!)" The pink hair girl yelled. "(Its not nice!)"
"(Hibari, I am just stating a fact.)" Yagyu said but then the adult in the group spoke up.
"(ALL OF YOU SHUT UP!)" The adult woman yelled catching the attention of the five female students as it looked like they didn't want to anger her. "(Bickering to each other wont solve anything, so calm down and lets work out the problem! Understood?!)"
"(YES, DAIDOUJI-SENSEI!)" All students said in unison.
This confused Andrew as he didn't know why the five looked like they were scared of her and his best guest was that they would get beat up as punishment. But then the woman now known as Daidouji then looked over to where the marine was hiding and ducked back into cover as fast as he could to not get spotted. Now Daidouji was a very powerful shinobi so that meant she had a great sense of her surroundings and when she final got all of the Hanzo students back in order she could feel someone gazing at and her students. She then turned her attention to a rather large boulder just on the edge of where the clearing met the forest a briefly saw what looked like a man with a helmet going back into cover. The other girls then noticed their teacher looking at the boulder and soon turned thier attention to it as well.
"(Um... Daidouji-sensei, what are you looking at?)" Hibari asked nervously.
"(There is someone behind that boulder, watching us.)" Daidouji replied as she maintained her focus on the boulder. "(Whoever is there come out and show yourself! Or face my wrath!)"
First Andrew thought he wasn't seen, but now he was on edge now knowing that the adult woman somehow saw him and knew he was behind the boulder. The other thing was that Daidouji now threaten him if he didn't show his face to the her and the girls who knows what could happen. He really thought that these girls were the enemy and the fact that he had video and picture evidence of them and if they found that on him they would most likely kill him and burn the evidence. He then decided to high-tail and run back to regroup with his squad hopping the girls wouldn't pursue him as he leaned back up and just started running as fast as he could to get back to the shrine with the squad.
However the presence of him running didn't go unnoticed by Daidouji who then formed a frown on her face as she now got angry.
'Running won't get you very far, young man.' Daidouji thought. "(He's trying to run away, we need to go after him! Follow me girls!)"
Daidouji then took off running in the direction with the Hanzo girls following close behind to not lose sight of their teacher. The girls of course quickly changed into their shinobi combat outfits incase they had to fight whoever their sensei sensed.
Back to Andrew still running through the trees and the bushes to try and escape the mystery girls, especially the adult woman as she somehow found out that he was there. He didn't dare look back as he feared that the girls were right behind him closing in slowly. But as the young Marine ran faster and faster back to the shrine a unknown force suddenly pushed him forward sending him face first into the ground thus dropping his rifle and it landing about a couple feet in front of him.
Andrew then franticly looked back and saw the adult woman dressed in all black slowly standing up from where she had landed. The ground beneath her was cracked broken so it must have meant she was strong. When she looked at the young marine it looked like her right eye was glowing red with a killing intent. As she got up the marine then quickly went for his rifle and grabbed at, but as he turned around to aim at the woman she then towered over the young marine as he had his M1 aimed at her head. But as the weapon was aimed at her head Daidouji didn't show any sights of fear or discomfort.
"So, running away instead of facing me huh?" Daidouji asked in almos-*Author gets punched in the face by Daidouji sending him into a wall, Author: okay fine!* in perfect English. "That's pretty cowardice, from someone dressing up."
Andrew didn't say anything as he tried to scoot away by using his legs to push him back, he was too scared to try and retort back to Daidouji. But as he backed up the powerful shinobi only took more steps forward keeping the marine in front of her. The face the young man had on him was the look of absolute terror and wanted to be far away from her as possible. Just then the other five girls showed up behind their sensei backing the young man up against a boulder surrounding him.
"(So this is the man that was watching us?)" Yagyu asked. "(Who are you, and why were you watching us?!)"
The young marine didn't say anything as he was now terrified that he was surrounded with no where to go. His mind then raced through his options that he was thinking trying to come up with a way to escape. Then the girl in the yellow shirt and green skirt sudden pointed one of her katanas near his throat to hopefully try to get him to talk.
"(Well, aren't you going to talk to us or not?)" Asuka asked putting her katana closer to his throat and still not willing to talk as the threat only made him more scared. It was then Katsuragi stormed up a idea in her head.
"(If you don't talk, I'll force it out of you!)" Katsuragi yelled trying to intimate the young marine as she walked closer to Andrew for her idea. But as she got to the left side of the marine he then turned his rifle to the blonde girl at his left to try and scare her. But the blonde girl didn't look at all scared as the rifle was pointed at her face and instead she had a big toothy grin on her face.
"(STAY BACK! I WILL SHOOT!)" Andrew final yelled to try and scare them away still aiming his rifle at the blonde girl that was the closest. But when Katsuragi took another step forward the Marine then fired a warning shot into the air and that stopped her in her tracks. The echoed through the surrounding area and even shocked the girls a little bit. "(Now back away.)" He warned. "(I won't ask a second time.)"
He then got back onto his feet with his rifle still aimed at the blonde girl of the group trying to prove he was not to be messed with.
"(You really think you could take us on?)" Daidouji asked. "(You don't seem that powerful to me.)"
"(And why would I want to fight you? I didn't do anything to provoke you or you students.)" Andrew reasoned. "(Besides your country has already lost the war, so there is no point in resisting!)"
The moment he said that the girls then looked at each other in confusion as they thought this young man was crazy.
"(What do you mean our country lost the war?)" Daidouji asked angry.
"(How could you not remember, when your emperor signed the peace treaty on one of our battleships? Thus ending the war.)" Andrew explained. "(And also what was that light you came from?)"
"(Okay hold on a second, what is the year right now?)" Ikagura asked. That question gave Andrew a confused look before he answered.
"(November 28th, 1946.)" He answered. "(How come you all don't know that?)"
Then the looks on the five young girls now had very shocked looks on their faces like it was the end of the world for them.
Just then a smoke grenade landed in the middle of the group and then exploded into a big cloud of white smoke. The smoke grenade reminded the girls how Kiriya sensei would appear in class when it was time to begin. But as the smoke cleared the girls saw that Andrew wasn't there anymore. But when looking around to try and see if they could see him fleeing anywhere Asuka then spotted him along side another man dressed in the same uniform as him were running a small hill that lead up to what looked like a shrine. Without a second thought she quickly pursued them to make sure they didn't get away leaving her teammate and her teacher behind.
It turns out it was Captain Mitchell who threw the smoke grenade to give the young private a window of escape. Then after Andrew got away from the ninjas and regrouped with the captain it was clear to the private that he wasn't to happy.
"I told you not to go very far!" Mitchell yelled.
"I didn't! I swear! Those girls just somehow found me!" Andrew reasoned. "They were the ones who threatened me first!"
"Well talk about it later!" Mitchell said. "We got to get out of here!"
So the two ran as fast as their legs would carry them to get away from whoever those girls were. They were able to regroup with Jerimiah and Akando who were waiting by their Jeep they had used to get to the shrine.
(This is the Jeep...)
The four Marines soon piled into the jeep as the captain quickly started up the engine and floored the gas. But as they started to the exit of the shrine Andrew caught sight of Asuka ninja running at full towards the jeep. Nobody else seemed to notice the ninja running at them so the young marine had to do something to stop her in her tracks. With fast thinking the young marine brought his rifle to bear and carefully aimed at the young girl. But as his finger was poised on the trigger it suddenly hit him that the girl was no older then he was and because of that he hesitated to pull the trigger.
But as the young shinobi came closer and closer he then thought about how he would save the lives of his friends if he stopped the girl. Soon he again took aim at the girl carefully as he didn't want to miss. But before firing he shut his eyes and pulled the trigger. 'BANG!'
Then the sound of a very high pitched scream was heard and Andrew opened his eyes to see the girl rolling onto the ground holding her right shoulder. He then realized he had hit the young girl in the shoulder and she stopped giving chase. Soon Jerimiah shouted with delight at the shot the young marine hit catching his attention.
"Great shot rookie!" Jerimiah commented. "You nailed that shot!"
But Andrew then looked back to the young girl on the ground as her other friends came to her aid before they drove down the hill back to the road. Deep down Andrew didn't feel right shooting that young girl, but he had to do it. Otherwise, he and his friends probably wouldn't be getting away. Even thought he saved his comrades lives he still felt bad about injuring a young girl about his age.
"So private, did you happen to get and pictures of them?" Mitchell asked making the young marine break out of his thoughts.
"Oh...um...yeah... and footage too." Mitchell answered. "But I don't think those girls are normal."
"Why not?" Mitchell asked as he turned the jeep on to the road heading back to base.
"You'll see when you watch the footage." Mitchell said.
Back with the girls before Asuka got shot...
When Asuka took off after the two guys in green the rest of the group soon tried to keep up with her to not let her out of their sights. But as they neared the shrine a loud gun shot was heard and Ikagura rounded the corner to see her fellow classmate getting shot in her right shoulder and then falling to the ground. The looks on their faces were horrified seeing their fellow classmate taking a .30-06 to the shoulder.
"ASUKA!" Ikagura yelled and rushed over to help her friend. But as she got closer she saw that blood was dripping out the wound. "Asuka are you okay?!"
"OH no Asuka got shot!" Hibari cried out as Yagyu came to her side.
'What? I thought Asuka was fast enough to deflect bullets.' Yagyu thought. "The bullet didn't hit away vital did it?"
"Grh...it...hurts..." Asuka moaned as she put pressure on the wound to stop it from bleeding too fast. "Yeah, the bullet didn't hit any important parts."
"Your lucky that guy didn't hit your head." Katsuragi said. "Then I would have had to kill him!"
"You shouldn't have done that Asuka! You could have died!" Ikagura cried out. "But right now we need to focus on stopping the bleeding and patching up your wound."
"Here Ikagura take this." Yagyu said as she handed her some medical cloth.
"Where did you have this?" Ikagura asked.
"In a 'Convenient' place." Yagyu said pointing to her breasts making Ikagura blush a little.
"O-oh... I see..." Ikagura said as she then set work on Asuka wound.
"Yagyu you are always prepared for something!" Hibari cried out.
"I try." Yagyu said.
But then a sudden a big gust of energy soon felt by the girls and they all looked to see Daidouji with both her eyes glowing red and a very dark aura surrounding her. Not only that she had the look of the devil on her face.
"If I ever see those men again... they are gonna wish they were already dead." Daidouji stated while clenching her fist tightly. This scared the five Hanzo students before as they never really saw the senior Shinobi so mad.
"You know, something tells me that's not the only time were gonna run into them." Katsuragi said.
"Why do you say that Katsuragi?" Ikagura asked putting the final touches on Asuka's wound.
"Just a thought." Katsuragi said looking up into the sky. "And we might need warmer clothing."
