I was looking up fluff prompts and found one that I just could not pass up for Jay XD It was too.. well. it was just too Jay for me to not use it! Well, at least to me it was. I only used it for part tho...

Jay wondered why he ever agreed to this.

He absolutely loved (Y/n) and would do anything for her, no doubts about it whatsoever.

But, even with that being said, he wondered what in the whole land of ninjago had him agreeing to watch scary movies at midnight when it wasn't even anywhere near Halloween.

It could have been his pride, not wanting to look like a cowered. It might have been those gorgeous (E/c) eyes of (Y/n) that had been nearly impossible to say no to.

It was most likely the fact that he thought he could handle a spooky movie, after all he was one of the saviors of ninjago right? He's fought many fearsome foes, surely he could handle a scary movie.

'... I WAS WRONG!! I WAS WRONG!! I WAS WRONG!! I WAS WRONG!! OHHHHH SWEEET MOTHER MAY I THIS IS TOO SCARY' these were his panicked thoughts as he tried not to scream out loud.

(Y/n) was cuddled up next to him on the couch, blanket hovering over her face as she watched, she was clearly intrigued.

He initially imagined this to play out like one of those sweet moments, you know, like the classic couples.

Where (Y/n) would get scared, latch onto him, and he would tell her that it was only fake and he would protect her no matter what then give her a comforting hug as they continue the movie.

THIS WAS NOT THE CASE AT ALL. He was trying his absolute hardest to keep his eyes on the screen, but it seemed the movie was a bit much for him.

"Hey (Y/n)" he starts. "Hmm?" Was her reply, not taking her eyes off the TV. They were getting to the most suspenseful part. The part that Jay never enjoyed, not one bit.

"This movie is really scary, but you're into it so I'm trying not to cover my face the whole time, but- WHAT IS THAT?" Jay yelled as a scary figure came up on the tv.

It strikes its victim, and shrilling screech can be heard from the movie.

He jumped, startled, and he latched onto (Y/n), squeezing his eyes shut. He buries his face in the crook of her neck, shielding his vision from the TV.

He hears her chuckling, "Jay Walker, one of the six beloved saviors of ninjago, facing all dangers at their worse, oh so very brave indeed " she teased in a joking voice.

He let go and looked at her with a grumpy face, crossing his arms like a young child. "I'm brave" he claims.

Another flash from the TV and a shrilling scream sent him retreating under the blankets that covered them.

He heard the click of the TV, and when he looked up, (Y/n) had changed the channel, to a comedy show.

"You didn't have to do that" Jay said, reaching for the remote to change it back. She stopped him, "It's fine. I already know how it ends anyways" she assured him.

He pulls his hand back, and smiled, "Then want some more (F/s)? Ooh or (F/d)? How about some (F/c)? Or all of them!" He asked, eyes wide like a enthusiastic little kid.

"Yea!" (Y/n) agreed, before he two raced to the kitchen. They took whatever snacks looked good, and whatever looked appealing to their junk food appetite.

Jay had a bunch of Cotton candy, and (Y/n) had obtained a large amount of (F/c) too.

With all the snacks and junk food on the table in front of them, they got to watching their late night movie.

It was very late at night, and Jay was starting to get sleepy. He could feel his eyelids begin to droop.

His head rested on something, something soft. He yawned a bit, not noticing that what had rested his head on was (Y/n)'s shoulder.

He fell asleep, and (Y/n) chuckled softly. She drew a blanket over him, and continued to watch TV, smiling a bit.

Jay walked around what looked like a dimly lit, empty hallway. "(Y/n)?" He called, "Lloyd? Kai? Cole? Zane? Anyone?"

He continued to walk, his footsteps echoing down the shadowy corridor. He wondered if anyone was there, actually, he wondered where he even was.

"Jay!" He heard a distant voice call. "(Y/n)?" He asked, hope filling his voice "Jay!" The voice got closer, and he realized that he didn't recognize it.

"Umm, Hello?" He asked, hoping they were friendly and knew the way out. "JAY!!" The voice got louder, and it sounded angry. He saw a figure at the end of the hallway, the same from the movie that had been too terrifying for him.

"Hehe, listen I know I have a tendency to tick people off, a lot, but could ya let me off the hook? I mean I need to get back to my friends, (Y/n), and Kai, and Nya, and Lloyd, and..." he kept rambling as the figure got closer.

Soon enough, his continuous rambling turned to stammering. "And Z-Zane, C-Cole..." he trails off. "JAY!!!!" The figure ran up to him and started shaking his violently.

"Ahhhh!!! Please!!! Don't kill meeeeee!!!!!!!" He yelled as he was being shaken violently, he tried to use his powers but they wouldn't seem to work.

"Jay!!" This time it was a different voice then the one he had been hearing. He realized that he recognized that voice, the voice of (Y/n), "Jay wake up!!! Wake up!"

Jay gasped as he awoke in a cold sweat, jerking up to a sitting position and immediately hitting something with his forehead.

"Ow!" He exclaimed, rubbing his forehead. He heard a thud, and he looked down to see (Y/n) sitting on the floor rubbing her forehead too.

"Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry!" Jay exclaimed as he scrambled up from the couch and helped (Y/n) to her feet. She brushed off her shirt, "It's fine, Jay" she said with a smile.

Jay sheepishly rubbed the back of his neck, a small smile creeping on his face.

"So, did you have a nightmare or something?" (Y/n) asks, concerned for him.

"Uhh...... yea? Why?" He asked, answer sounding more like a question. "Oh, no reason, except for the fact that you were kinda yelling in your sleep"

"Oh" he replied, "did I wake the others?" He asked, "Yup, I told them to go back to bed and I'll wake you. I almost called Nya in though, to dump some water on you"

"Hehe, sorry about that...." he says, a guilty grin in his face. "Nah, it's fine. I probably shouldn't have watched a scary movie with you" (Y/n) admits.

"Well, we should probably head to bed" (Y/n) says, turning off the TV and the lights. Jay yawns, "Yea, that's probably a good idea"

After saying their good nights and cleaning up their small mess, both head off to their rooms to sleep for the night.

(Y/n) slipped through the soft sheets of her bed, resting her head on her pillow. She listened to the quiet of the bounty, and felt herself begin to doze.

"Psst! (Y/n)? You awake?"

"Yea Jay, What is it?"

"Can I sleep with you?"

"Sure"

"Thanks"

"No problem"

And there they slept, in the comfort of each others presence, and the fear of nightmares gone.

Anyways, I had quite a bit of fun with this one as well!!
