|| Morro ||
3rd person POV
(Y/N) was never the same after the car accident she had a few years ago. It was traumatizing and left scars along with damage to her eyesight.
She wasn't the one that caused the accident, it was a drunk driver. After ramming head on to the car, (Y/N) had hit her head on the steering wheel, rupturing something in her head and tearing apart something, causing her to lose her eyesight.
All she could see were blurry figures and light colours. She wishes she never had to go out shopping that day, for she lost something she needed dearly. She used to love drawing and painting, but now with her disability, she gave up on her favorite hobbies.
After the car accident, a few weeks later while walking the streets blindly with her guiding stick, (Y/N) had accidently taken a wrong turn and ended up walking blindly through a gang's territory without knowing it.
She had ended up pushes against a wall, scared once again that her life was going to end.
~~Flashback~~
(Y/N)'s POV
I let out a loud shout as my back slammed against a brick wall, tearing my shirt lightly and scratching my back, probably tearing open an old scar from the accident.
The smell of alcohol hit my nose as the man let out a throaty laugh, "Well, hello my lady~ what'tsa brought you here~ Come ta see little ol' me?"
My body squirmed under the man's rough hold on my shoulders, "P-Please..." I whimper out, seeing his blurry figure in front of my face.
As he tightens his grip on me, I knew I had to fight my way out for pleading wasn't going to save my life. I raised my metal walking stick in my dominate hand that was free and swung it hard randomly.
After hearing a small crack, the man let out a shout in pain as his nails dug into my shoulder blades. "You fucking bitch." He seethed in a harsh whisper.
I see him shift a bit while I shook in fear. Finally, he pulled something out and placed it on my cheek. It was ice cold and sent shivers down my spine. "It's going to be a pleasure slitting your throat."
I gulped as tears slowly slid down my cheeks, the man repositioning the knife to the corner of my neck. As he pushed down on the knife, a huge gust of wind picked up.
My (H/C) hair flew in the wind crazily as the man struggled to hold his ground. "Let. The. Girl. Go."
It was a man's voice, smooth yet rough. As he spoke, the wind picked up making the guy that was holding me look to the new competition, only to gasp and drop the knife. "N-no! I-It can't b-be you!"
There was a growl, "Don't make me warn you again." As my savior stepped forward form the corner of my blurry eye's, the man holding me staggered back before sprinting off in a rush of fear.
I slowly slid down the brick wall, my back still stinging along with my shoulders. Footsteps were heard, making me look up at my blurry, disfigured savior, "T-Thank you.."
~~~
There was a snapping sound in front of my face, "(Y/N)? Don't tell me you were distracted again."
I shook my head from my thoughts and looked towards my boyfriend of two years, "Actually, Morro, I was remembering the first time we met."
Morro let out a soft hum as he ran a ghostly hand through my hair. "You mean when I scared that scumbag away?" He looked down to my hazy (E/C) eyes.
I nodded softly, leaning into his warming touch as my kegs spread out on my couch. "Yeah. But now that I recall that, it was my fault. If I wasn't blind and could actually see, I would have known that I was in danger." I sighed, glancing down at nothing.
Morro sighed softly, gently curling my hair around his fingers, "It's not your fault your blind, (Y/N). It was that drunk bastard."
I slowly get off his lap, and turn to face his blurry face, "How can you put up with me, Morro? I-I'm blind and I don't know where I'm going." My eyes slowly started to sting with tears, "I don't even know what you really look like." I whispered.
He reached up and gently wiped away my tears, even if it stung him. "I love you for you, (Y/N). I don't care that you can't see me or that you don't know your way around. I only care that you're by my side."
I nodded slowly, "Y-Yeah...Okay.."
~Time skip~
I slowly opened the door to my home, careful not to wake Morro up from his nap. Closing the door gently I tiptoed my way to the bedroom that we shared. "Morro."
His name left my lips in a whisper as I saw his slightly ghosted figure laying peacefully under the blankets of our bed.
Grinning I walked towards him, looking over every inch of his face. My hand slowly reached down, starting from the base of his chin and going up past his jaw to his hair.
His black, midnight hair fell over his eyes while his magnificent green streak stuck to the corner of his mouth as he drooled slightly.
A giggle left my lips as he slowly started to stir awake. "(Y/N)?" He whispered tiredly as he rubbed his eyes.
"Hey, Morro. Had a good sleep? You looked like you were." I smirked slightly as he shrugged.
"Yeah, I was having this weird dream of floating through space-" He paused for a second and looked up at you with wide emerald green eyes.
I tilted my head slightly, my eyes stuck on his electric, memorizing ones, "What's wrong Morro?"
"Y-You-" He swallowed thickly as he sat up more, "You can see me?" He leaned in close to my face, a small blush rising to my cheeks.
I smiled and gently cupped his cheeks in my hands, "Oh Morro." I leaned down and captured his lips with mine.
After visiting the local doctor for months without Morro knowing and getting his hopes up, the doctors were finally able to find a cure for my eyesight.
Morro gently kissed back, before pulling away and staring up at me with pure childlike excitement, "You never told me how handsome you truly looked." I whispered with a grin. "Besides, I never needed sight to see, that I love you."
