"(Y/n)! Wait! What happened!" Lloyd shouts after you. You just keep running. 

"Is it something I said?" He asks worriedly. 

You want to turn around and tell him what was going on,  but you knew you just couldn't.

What had happened to start all this? Well, maybe we should start from the beginning. 

~ One Hour Before... ~

"Hey, (y/n), do you wanna come with me on some errands in town?" Lloyd asked you.

"Sure! I'd love to!" You replied, trying not to sound too excited. 

"Alright! Well, let's go!" Lloyd exclaimed as he headed towards the stairs of the bounty.

"Are we....walking?" You asked as you put on your (f/c) converse and followed him. 

"Well, yeah...the town is only about a mile away...plus, I wanted to nice conversation with you on the way." Lloyd replied, a small blush tinting his cheeks. 

You and Lloyd were walking down the mountain, and because you were well, who you were, you were thinking of good reasons to throw yourself off of the edge. 

"You okay?" Lloyd asked you, waving a hand in front of your face. 

"Oh! I'm sorry! I guess I just zoned out..." You replied nervously.

"Hey, uh...(y/n)...?" Lloyd asked shyly. 

"Yeah?" You replied.

You were hoping that Lloyd was asking you out, but you didn't let your hopes get too high. 

"So, I have a crush on this girl..." Lloyd started. 

Hm...girl advise...you knew how this would turn out. 

"And?" You asked?

"And...I just don't think she feels the same way about me." He finished. 

You thought of a wise thing to say before you replied without reluctance.

"Well, you should just tell her how you feel. I mean, you're Lloyd Garmadon! There's no way she'll be able to resist!" You replied.

Lloyd's face turned from light pink to Crimson as he took your compliment to heart. 

"Thanks (y/n). I'll be sure to treasure your advise." Lloyd replied, smiling gratefully.

"Oh, it was no problem at all!" You said, scratching the back of your neck. 

"Hey, I can see the town! Wanna race the rest of the way?" Lloyd asked, going from flustered to enthusiastic. You weren't surprised that be wanted to play such a childish game, but you thought it sounded like fun.

"Prepare to eat my dust!" You said as you began to run down the cobblestone path.

"Hey! Lloyd pouted, chasing after you. 

You kept running, laughing at how determined he was to beat you. 

"Ha!" You exclaimed, panting and holding your knees. "I won!" 

"Congratulations..." Lloyd said through pants as he caught up to you.

"So, where do we need to go?" You asked after you caught your breath.

"Well, first we need to go to the Grocery Store...." He replied, pulling out a shopping list.

"Aww....look at you! Mom friend..." You snickered.

"Hey! I am NOT the mom friend!" Lloyd replied, getting a little bit defensive.

"Yes you are...." You insisted as you walked with him into the grocery store. 

"First, we need to hit the produce section..." Lloyd said as he walked towards the produce.

"Okay, mom friend...I'll be in the magazine section if you need me!" You said as Lloyd walked away. 

"Okay!" He replied.

You flipped through all of the popular celebrity gossip columns and took all of the quizzes and horoscopes in the magazines until Lloyd walked over with a cart full of groceries. 

"Checkout?" You asked, and Lloyd nodded his head in reply. 

"Okay. I'll be outside when you're ready." You said as you walked towards the store's front doors. 

You waited about 5 minutes before Lloyd came out with bags of groceries....and a girl?!? 

"Hey (y/n)! I'd like you to meet a good friend of mine!" Lloyd exclaimed happily. 

Suddenly, your happy mood turned into depression and slight jealousy. 

"Who is this?" You asked, trying to hide your growing envy. 

"I'm Addie! It's nice to meet you!" The girl said, extending her arm out for a handshake. 

"Nice to meet you too...!" You said as you reluctantly shook her hand.

Sleek ash-blonde hair, ravishing blue eyes, a perfect smile...this had to be the girl that Lloyd wanted advise about earlier.

"I'm glad that you two are getting along so well!" Lloyd beamed, a smile spreading across his face.

The only thing was that he was completely wrong. You hated this girl's guts already. A small scowl formed on your face, and you began to run. 

"(Y/n)!" Lloyd yelled. "Excuse me Addie...it was nice seeing you again, but I gotta go and support my friend." He said to Addie as he began to run after you.

"(Y/n)! Wait! What happened?" Lloyd shouted after you. You just kept running.

"Is it something I said?" He asked worriedly.

You wanted to turn around and tell him what was going on, but you knew you just couldn't.

You keep running and running until you reach the base if a huge rock mountain that housed the Destiny's Bounty. 

"Please....explain to me what's going on. Do you not trust me?" Lloyd says in a heartbreaking tone.

you look back for a second before beginning to climb up the mountain. You just want to throw yourself off, feel yourself plunge down to the hard ground, but that was out of your plan.

"(Y/n)!" Lloyd screams.

You want to turn around so badly. Hearing Lloyd so distressed made you wanna cry, it made you want to turn back and comfort him. But you couldn't. It was out if the plan.

You reach the stairs that led up to the main deck of the bounty and quickly climb up them. Lloyd was gaining on you, and not very far behind.

You keep on running until you reach the kitchen, located in the lower deck. 

"Please stop running from me!" You hear Lloyd shout from the upper deck. You had finally stopped running, and Lloyd was seconds away from finding you. 

You hear footsteps down the staircase, and an exhausted, worried, and distressed Lloyd comes flying through the doorway.

"(Y/n)! I'm so glad I fou-" Lloyd begins before he sees what you are holding in your hand. 

"Why do you have a....knife?" He asks, even more sweat forming in his forehead and his hands beginning to shake.

"Lloyd, I love you!" You scream, tears forming in your eyes.

"(Y/n)..." Lloyd says, losing his worried look.

"And I hate seeing you with that other girl, and all the other girls that you hang out with!" You shout.

"But...why the heck are you holding a knife...?" He asks nervously.

"Because..." You start, positioning the knife. "This one is for you!" You yell as you cut a slit in your wrist.

"You don't have to do this!" Lloyd cries, tears flooding his eyes.

"This...is for my family!" You yell as you cut another slit.

"Stop!" Lloyd screams, tears now streaming down his face. 

You ignore him. You were in too deep to go back.

"And this....is for our future!" You yell the loudest, holding the knife up to your throat.

"NO!" Lloyd shrieks, taking the knife and throwing it to the floor.

"Lloyd..." You say softly, looking into his green eyes.

"(Y/n), I love you with all my heart, and I don't know what I would do if I lost you." He says, running his fingers through your (h/c) hair.

"But, Lloyd...that girl, and-" You start before Lloyd cuts you off.

"Shut up... you knew it was always you." Lloyd says before he leans in and kisses you, almost taking you by surprise. After a second of shock, you close your eyes and kiss him back.

Lloyd ends the kiss and brings you into a tender hug, and the two of you fall down to your knees.

"(Y/n), I'm glad you're alive, because if you weren't, I wouldn't have just had the best first kiss a boy could ever ask for." Lloyd whispers in to your ear.

"Yeah, I'm glad to be alive too." You reply, examining the bloody cuts in your wrist.

"Promise me you'll never pull something this dangerous ever again."

"I promise."
