You are laying in your bed after a long day of training, and you can barely move a muscle. You start to think about how you got your butt kicked by Sensei, but then you remember that he has had way more experience than you have had in your whole life. You hear a knock on the door, a special knock, and realize that it is Kai, clearly coming to cheer you up. You tell him he can come in, so he slowly opens the door, and you see he has brought flowers for you.
"What are these for?" You ask with a surprised look on your face.
"I just wanted to bring you something for all the hard work that you do." He responds gingerly.
"But I never do anything right at training, and yesterday, I hid in the game room playing video games." You reply.
Kai hands you the flowers anyway, and sits right next to you on your bed, then he checks to make sure there's nobody around. He scooches close and whispers in your ear.
"Do you want to know the real reason I brought you those flowers?" He asks softly.
"Why?" You ask, your cheeks flushed.
"Well...I...Kinda-"Kai starts before you put your finger over his mouth.
"I know, you like me." You say, blushing profusely.
Kai looks you in your eyes, but you look away, too embarrassed to look him straight in the eyes. Kai puts his hand under your chin, and softly pulls up your chin. You look down, unable to look at him, still. You then feel Kai's warm hands on your cheeks, and before you know it, his lips are pressed against yours. You kiss him back, and then you push him away after you've had enough. You look up at Kai and smile. Your smile quickly fades.
"Uhh...thanks for visiting." You say quickly. You remembered you needed to get plenty of rest.
"See ya tomorrow, I guess." Kai says.
Kai gives you one last glance, then he walks out. You lay on your bed, staring blankly at the now closed door, thinking deeply about what happened, and wishing it could happen more often.
