"I can't believe you hypnotized one of the ninja! Does the general know?"

"Of course not! He's been put under the control of Lloyd and I plan to use it for my best interest." He said as the first Serpentine turns away.

"Everyone works while you two slack? As my second in command I expect more from you Scales."

"Yes, general. You know I am most loyal to you, but I must question this childish agenda. The ninja have our staff yet you instruct your army to make this playhouse for Lloyd? That strange man with him is especially suspicious you know."

"You know better than to question my judgement Scales. Hey you!" The general said turning towards his left after spotting Technoblade watching them. "Introduce yourself to us to prove that we can trust you, and remove that cloak!"

"Apologies Sir, but I'm afraid I cannot de-cloak as I am not being ordered by Mister Garmadon. I can however, still introduce myself." Technoblade did a mock bow similar to that he did when introducing himself to Lloyd. "General Technoblade, resident Blood God." Technoblade couldn't stop smiling despite his face being unseen. "Don't worry Scales, I hate working for the kid as much as you do."

"Hey! If we plan to rule Ninjago from here this elevator needs a trap door. I want more booby traps!" Lloyd shouted.

"As you wish, young Garmadon." The general gave a small wave at Scales.

"As you wish, general."

Technoblade grinned as he spotted a familiar white clad ninja in the snow bellow the large treehouse Lloyd had gotten made.

"If I see one girl in here, I'm gonna go ballistic." Lloyd frowned from atop the large wood platform he stood upon, being carried by serpentine.

"If I see one ninja in here," Technoblade imitated from the branch he sat on. "I'm gonna go ballistic."

"I don't even think Zane knows where he's going." The ninja in red  stated glancing at the people he was talking to before the group paused. "Uh, tell us again how you stumbled upon Lloyd's secret headquarters."

"I followed a bird."

"Why did you follow a bird?" Jay asked.

"Because it danced."

"Oh, okay. Was it a cuckoo bird?" Jay made a vague gesture at his own head, moving his finger around as all but Zane laughed.

"Of course not. Everyone knows cuckoo birds are not indigenous to these forests."

"Watch it!" Lloyd shouted. "No bigger! Come on we don't have all day, its not time for a lunch break."

"Holy cannoli, Frosty was right.

"Can't let that brat and snakes get a foothold in Ninjago. We got to destroy that thing before it becomes operational."

"Woa, are you sure? That looks like a pretty cool treehouse, there's a-"

"I agree with you on that part but you still need to destroy it.  Remember what side you're on?" All the ninja screamed at the new voice.

"Who are you!" Jay shouted as the others held out their weapons at the figure.

"M' name isn't something I'd like to disclose to you bunch but the treehouse is being supported by those three trees." The figure said loosely gesturing to some of the trees behind them. "Sever those ties and the whole thing will fall like a certain squid I know."

"But how could a squid fall if they live in the water? Such a situation sounds very unlikely."

"Listen man I'm not planning on dropping context to anything I say so just keep alert." The figure reached up to his cloak and yanked it off in an exaggerated manner, disappearing as the cloak met the ground.

"Its almost finished." Lloyd said in an edgy manner. "Soon my fortress will be complete. You!" The grunt Lloyd pointed at turned around, startled. "Hold up that sign for me." Lloyd pulled a lever and let out a laugh as the grunt fell from the tree.

"The ninja are here!" Techoblade shouted just as the ropes were cut, laughing as he watched the ninja in black get mind controlled just as Lloyd was betrayed. "Ah, I guess I should save him." Technoblade made no move to save the boy.

"No Cole! Don't do it!" Kai shouted as Cole was about to slice the final rope just before a flute began playing.

"Woah, what are we doing?"

"We're getting out of here because this place is coming down!" Nya shouted from the dragon her and Sensei Wu were riding, allowing the others to jump on just as the place collapsed.

"That flute. It cancels out their powers." Cole mumbled eyeing the object Sensei Wu held.

"Its as old as the Serpentine themselves, but we must hurry. The monastery is unguarded." At a distance, Technoblade grinned despite not hearing what they were speaking of.

"Do something general." Lloyd aggressively whispered before worriedly asking, "You're still under my command, right?"

The general blankly stared for a moment. "Enough! I am the general! You will return my staff at once."

"No." Scales dramatically replied as the Serpentine gasped.

"You dare challenge my command?" The Serpentine had begun chanting.

"Slither Pit. Slither Pit. Slither Pit. Slither Pit!"

"I guess we will have to fight for it." Scales smugly observed. "In the Slither Pit."

"Winner gets the staff and leads the tribe. You know the rules: There are none. But in the Slither Pit, whatever I say goes." The two fighters nod. "Alright, fight."

Lloyd began reaching for a map as two weapons were dropped into the Slither Pit each.

The general threw an easily dodged pickaxe that caused a chunk of ice to fall, effectively making a cloak of mist cloud everyone's vision, allowing Lloyd to steal the map he was reaching for.

"Listen up you nerds," a voice only heard by the fighters started. "It stays in the pit." A de-cloaked Technoblade entered the two's vision before disappearing when the mist began to clear, throwing the general out of the Slither Pit just before the mist had fully cleared.

"We have a winner!" At a moments notice, Scales was given the staff and had transformed into the new leader

"Scales! Scales! Scales! Scales! Scales!"

"You will be loyal to me now!" Scales shouted pointing the staff at the former leader.

"I will do as you say now.."

"You!" Scales shouted at Lloyd. "Leave and never return!"

Somewhere far away, Technoblade silently stalks the ninja with Lloyd beside him as they approach an airship.

Technoblade began studying them for all they're worth.
