This is the time where the captain and the princess have a romantic moment. (Jaya fans, you can fangirl throughout this chapter XD). Will this moment make them realized they're perfect for each other?

Flintlocke and Ronin head to the Captain's room and saw Jay looking at a pile of maps that shows different parts of Ninjago. Jay picked up one map and he sighed as he sit on his bed and looked at it. "Lotus City is far from Jamakai Village. Heard there's many billionaires with a lot of cash so maybe we can go there after we take the princess back to the palace" Jay said and Flintlocke sit next to him. "Captain, I'm not sure we can head to Lotus City, there's security guards everywhere" Flintlocke said. "Gee, thanks, Flint, now I have no idea what place we're going to steal at. Many places had guards or security everywhere" Jay said and he lay on his pillow. "Captain, don't be hard on yourself, I'm not sure if we are ever going to do our daily routine again" Ronin said. "Ronin, we had to our daily routine again to represent of who we are: pirates who like to steal. I want to follow in my adoptive father's footsteps to be like him" Jay said.

"Captain, you are not your adoptive father. You are far different from him. You show kindness to the princess instead of treating her like a prisoner" Flintlocke said. "But, Flint, don't you see of what my adoptive father feels if I don't do things his way. I treat the princess kindness because-" Jay stopped what he said and Ronin crossed his arms. "Because what, captain, finish what you're about to say to us" Ronin said. "I don't want to say it, Ronin" Jay said. "Why, captain? We all know that you had a crush on her first" Flintlocke said. "Yeah, thanks, but what I was about to say is that because I don't want to let her go to her engaged prince to get married tomorrow" Jay said and Flintlocke and Ronin clapped. "We are very proud of you, captain, you love her don't you?" Flintlocke said. "Flint, Love's a strong word to say especially if you had a crush on a princess who's getting married tomorrow" Jay said and Flintlocke sighed.

"I know, captain, plus we have good news from Dogs" Flintlocke said. "What is it, Flint?" Jay said. "She and Ronin asked the princess if she can dance with you later on today and her answer was yes but she did not know that you are the one who's going to dance with her" Flintlocke said. "Wow, I'm shocked. I can't wait to dance with her" Jay said and Ronin take out a blindfold.

"After you're done getting ready, I had to blindfold you" Ronin said. "Really? Can I trust you both to lead me to the heck we're going?" Jay said. "Yes, captain, you trust all of your pirates whenever you give us orders" Ronin said. Jay sighed with annoyance and he got off his bed.

"Alright, guys, I'm going to get myself ready for the dance" Jay said but Flintlocke and Ronin stopped him by grabbing him and put him on a chair. "We are going to help you get ready for the dance" Flintlocke said. "Really? Thanks but I don't want any help?" Jay said. "You want help, captain, we know you, you just said that to get rid of us" Ronin said. "That's so not true, guys, you guys know I can get myself ready instead your help" Jay said. "But don't you want to look handsome for the princess, this is your chance to tell her that you're sending her back to the palace" Flintlocke said. "Yeah, I want to look handsome but how the heck you both are going to make me look handsome for the princess?" Jay said. "Simple, the princess already knew you're handsome plus we had learned a little of fashion from Dogs" Ronin said. "Alright, give me your best shot of giving myself ready to the dance" Jay said as he crossed his arms. "We will now let's start with the face" Ronin said. "Ronin, his face is fine, it's the outfit that matters" Flintlocke said. "Oh yeah, let's go and check his closet" Ronin said. Flintlocke sighed and he opened the closet and they start looking for the best outfit for the captain.

Nya was getting measured by Dogshanks and Nadakhan and Nadakhan sighed. "The last outfit you wore was red well let's surprise the captain with the color you and him adored" Nadakhan said. "Blue? God, I haven't wear blue in a while during my engagement with Prince Cole" Nya said. "Of course, it's the stupid engagement with that Prince Cole that ruins your chance to wear blue" Dogshanks said. "The engagement's not stupid, Dogs, it's the best thing that ever happened to me when I'm getting married with my True Love" Nya said. "Really? To us, it's the worst thing ever. It's like you are forced with someone to love. Plus you are getting married with your "True Love"" Dogshanks said. "I wasn't forced to love Prince Cole. I love him when I first met him and I told him I love you and he repiled back to me that he love me too. That's true love, I felt like you're acting like my older brother" Nya said. "Nya, that's not true love, does the prince ever had feelings for you the whole time?" Dogshanks said. "Yeah he does, we kiss, dance, and after the day we met, he told me if I can marry him, and I say yes to him" Nya said. "Nya, like I say, that's not true love, true love is when you and this person had feelings for each other very strong and you and the prince do not have feelings that are very strong, plus one day I'll meet your older brother and tell him to give you this talk" Dogshanks said. "That's not true love, what I said is true love, Dogs, plus I already had a talk with my brother and he seemed to hate the prince for some reason why which annoys me" Nya said. "Nya, one day you'll learn the true meaning of true love, and that you and the prince don't show any strong feelings for each other at all" Dogshanks said. Nya sighed and Nadakhan coughed to get their attention.

"I had just realized of the perfect dress for you, Nya, it's going to be perfect for the mysterious stranger" Nadakhan said. "Thanks, I guess, but let's hope that the dance with this mysterious stranger will cheer me up before the wedding" Nya said. "It will, Nya, now Nadakhan, I think it's time for you to use your magic for the princess's dress" Dogshanks said. Nadakhan smiled and chanted some words to create a dress that surprises Nya and she looked at herself at the mirror. "This looks beautiful, Nadakhan, thank you so much" Nya said. "No problem, Nya, now we had to blindfold you to lead you to the stranger" Nadakhan said. Nya sighed as Dogshanks put the blindfold over Nya's eyes and Nadakhan lead her out of her room.

"Dogs, we got the captain ready plus we blindfold him" Flintlocke said. "Good, now lead him outside where the sand hits. That's when plan 3 starts" Dogshanks said. "You know I can hear you both, right?" Jay said. "Oh, um, captain, you didn't hear anything, Ronin will had to take you to the area you had to be at" Dogshanks said and Ronin lead the captain to the area he had to be at. "Let's make their moment more romantic" Dogshanks said. "With what?" Flintlocke said. "According to the princess, nature plays around with humans, right, so maybe they can play around with the captain and the princess" Dogshanks said. "That's a great idea plus let's catch up with the others to see their reactions" Flintlocke said and he and Dogshanks head to the sands of Moonlight River.

Ronin and Nadakhan put the princess and the captain in their positions and Dogshanks and Flintlocke sit down on the big rocks. Nadakhan clapped his hands for the torches to lit up. "You both may take off your blindfolds" Nadakhan said. Jay and Nya take out their blindfolds and Nya was amazed of how handsome the captain is. He was wearing a black tux with a blue tie. "You looked very handsome, captain, I can't believe you're the mysterious stranger I had to dance with" Nya said. "Thanks, Nya, but is that a good thing or bad thing?" Jay said. "It's a good thing, plus you are handsome by your blue eyes and your eyebrow scar" Nya said. "Thanks, you look beautiful in that dress. I can't believe you wear blue the first time" Jay said and Nya blushed.

"It's not the first time, I haven't wear this color in a while, I always wear red everyday" Nya said. Jay take Nya's hand and smiled. "You look beautiful in any types of color especially when you wear red" Jay said. "Thanks, captain, plus I think this place is amazing, I can't believe the pirates actually decorate this place" Nya said and Jay looked around of where he was at. "Wow, this is amazing, those pirates are not doing chores for the next few weeks" Jay said making Nadakhan and the others cheered.

"I'm glad it's dark, the river's going to glow and that nature might play around with anyone" Nya said and Jay kissed Nya's hand making her blushed.

"Let's have dinner before we dance, princess" Jay said and he and Nya sit at the table. "Wow, sushi and shrimp for dinner, that's amazing" Nya said as she admired the food. "I wonder who cook this for us" Jay said and Nadakhan went up to them. "Hello, you two, I'm glad you both enjoy this dinner, I was expecting a kiss in this type of moment" Nadakhan said. "You know I'm still going to kill you, Nada" Jay said. "I know, I'm just making you and the princess uncomfortable" Nadakhan said. "Really?" Jay said. "Yep, now you two enjoy dinner while me and the others go and get flowers for the princess" Nadakhan said and he left the table. "That's very unexpected, but let's eat before the food gets cold" Nya said. "I agree with you" Jay said and they both eat shrimp and sushi as the night sky hits.

After their dinner, Jay and Nya head to the forest of Moonlight River. Nya went up to the flowers and sniffed it. Jay followed Nya and he grabbed a cherry blossom and put it on her hair. Nya smiled and she picked up a Daisy and give to the captain. "You might need another daisy to take care of instead of the one you had. Plus it might take up room in that vase" Nya said. "Thanks, Nya, for caring so much about the daisy in my room" Jay said. "No problem, captain" Nya said.

Nadakhan and the other pirates were watching them from a cliff and Nadakhan sighed. "There's got to be someway the captain and the princess can have their lovely dance by saying their feelings they're thinking" Nadakhan said. "I think there is, Nada, by finding some type of flowers to make them say their feelings out loud" Dogshanks said. "What type of flowers are you talking about, Dogs?" Ronin said. "I don't know but I know what color it is" Dogshanks said. "What color, Dogs?" Nadakhan said. "Purple" Dogshanks said. "Perfect, now let's find some purple flowers for the princess and the captain" Ronin said and the three pirates spilt up to find flowers. "Those three are going to make the princess and the Captain's dance to a awkward saying things out loud dance" Flintlocke said and he sit on a rock and take out his telescope and watch the princess and the captain.

Nya and Jay both walked side by side not talking a single word to each other. Jay's amazing, I mean not too amazing, I mean his blue eyes make him attractive. Oh what the heck, Nya? He's hot when he's shirtless, I mean literally. He's way different from Cole. The opposite of him. Getting marrying with Cole is the best thing ever and I'm going to love my future. It's for my family and Jamakai Village. I never had a chance of what I want to do for my future. But I'm happy that I'm getting married with my True love. Cole. Nya thought and noticed that Jay's holding her hand. God, Jay's holding my hand, it's making me red. Why is he holding my hand? To protect me from danger? Or that he wants me safe with him? Nya thought and she walked very fast that she tripped over a rock but lucky Jay caught her. Nya turned red and she coughed very loud and sighed. Great, he caught me from falling on my face, this is going to be awkward! Must focus on what I'm doing for my life. I'm getting married tomorrow and I'm very happy! Am I? Or I'm happy with Jay? Nya thought and the wind make the leaves fall on the floor making a perfect entrance to the dock.

Jay smiled and he saw a bird on the floor. It was a baby blue jay and Jay picked it up back to it's nest. "Here you go, little birdie" Jay said and the bird tweet very kind by saying thanks back to him. Jay laughed and he went back to Nya. "That's very kind of you bringing the baby blue bird back to it's nest" Nya said. "Thanks, Nya, I just love help out the wildlife" Jay said.

Nya must be amazed that I bring back the blue bird. Ever since I get to know her, she's more a princess who shows her smile. She is the only one that makes me happy everyday. There's a lot of moments where Nya and I feel comfortable: The duet, the pirates' song about me, and especially our talk in the cabin. It shows me that I need her but her wedding's tomorrow. I haven't told her that I like her but this is our last moment together before she's getting marry with her True Love. Yay? What's wrong with me? Do I love her? Wait, love's a strong word to say. I don't want this moment to last. But what I'm doing for Nya after this moment is the right thing to do: bring her back to Prince Cole so she can marry him. I want her to be happy with her true love that's why. So after that, I can go back becoming a captain and continued following in my adoptive father's footsteps. Jay thought and he lead Nya to the dock.

"I found the purple flowers, Dogs" Nadakhan said holding the purple flowers in his hands. "Good but let's test it on someone to see if he can say out loud of what he's thinking" Dogshanks said pointing at Ronin. "Fine, let me sniff those flowers" Ronin said and Nadakhan put the flowers next to Ronin's face as he sniffed it. "God, what the hell? You both are being stupid to the captain and the princess plus I'm his favorite pirate mate since I'm awesome. Dogs, I'm sorry to say this but Nadakhan is way better looking than you" Ronin said and Dogshanks was about to punch Ronin but Nadakhan stopped her. "Before you punch him, these flowers are the ones that makes humans say stuff out loud of what they're thinking" Nadakhan said. "Let's call them Out Thinker Violets but is there a cure for the human to be less annoying?" Dogshanks said. "I don't know, Dogs, but hey there's water, I think you can splash Ronin for him to be normal" Nadakhan said pointing at the crescent lake. "Perfect, let's bring Ronin to the lake" Dogshanks said. Nadakhan take Ronin to the lake and he stopped. "We should let him drink the lake instead of splashing him, it's for his own safety" Nadakhan said. "Really, Nada? Safety? Since when do you become so worried about everyone's safety?" Dogshanks said. "Ever since I finally realized that I'm older than everyone" Nadakhan said. "Oh c'mon, everyone knows you're old, Nada" Dogshanks said. "Really? I thought you're older than me but what the heck? Now we had to wait for Ronin to drink water from the lake" Nadakhan said. Dogshanks sighed and instead of Ronin drinking the water, she end up pushing him. "What was that for, Dogs? He might have drown" Nadakhan said. "Wait for it, 3,2,1 he's back to normal" Dogshanks said and Ronin climbed out of the lake. "What the heck happened to me? Why am I so wet?" Ronin said. "Don't worry about yourself, Ronin, you do know that you just say everything you have thought about stuff" Nadakhan said. "Especially the embarrassing ones?" Ronin said. "Yep, now let's give the flowers to the princess and the captain" Dogshanks said as they head to the deck.

"Oh my God! This is Moonlight Deck. I love this part of Moonlight River" Nya said and Jay take her hand to the middle part of the deck. "Isn't today beautiful, Nya?" Jay said. "Yeah it is because of the dinner and you" Nya said.

"The only thing we need to do is for us to dance" Jay said. "Yeah plus there's something I need to tell you" Nya said placing her hand on Jay's. "Really? There's something I want to tell you too" Jay said. "Well, then you can go first, since you're the captain and you seem very kind to say it" Nya said. "Nope, ladies first. You're the princess and I think you should speak first before me" Jay said. "Thanks for being a gentleman but I think you should speak first" "No thanks, Nya, you can talk before me, plus you're being way too kind" Our two main characters end up talking way too awkward causing them to argue but Nadakhan and the others went up to them holding Out Thinker Violets. "Sorry to interrupt your lovely conversation but we all want to give you both these lovely violets" Nadakhan said as Dogshanks and Ronin passed each of the violets to Jay and Nya. "Thanks, Nadakhan, Dogs, and Ronin, you guys must love interrupting our "lovely" argument" Jay said but he end up getting punched by Nya. "Seriously, Jay? Our "lovely" argument was about which one of us get to say something to each other" Nya said. "Well, I think you should talk first, princess" Jay said and Nya and him end up arguing. "Captain, princess, how about you both smell the flowers and maybe you both get to tell each other about something?" Ronin said. "I agree and have fun while we all go" Dogshanks said and they all leave Jay and Nya alone.

Nya sighed and grabbed one of the violets and sniffed it. Jay also did the same but as they dropped the violets, things got very awkward. "Jay, your eyes brought my world full of love" Nya said and she quickly gasped and her hands over her mouth. "That's so sweet of you, Nya, when I met you, I started to like you" Jay said but he quickly backed up away from Nya. "You like me? I like you too but I had a wedding tomorrow and I love Cole more than you but ever since we get to know each other, I started to like you and I'm hoping if I can say my feelings in a song" Nya said. "Same here, princess" Jay looked at Nya and kissed her hand. "May I have this dance, Princess Nya?" Jay asked as he bowed. "Of course, Captain Jay" Nya said as she curtsy and take Jay's hand.

Nadakhan, Dogshanks, and Ronin squealed and Flintlocke went up to them. "Do you know your stupid plan is making the captain and the princess complete fools?" Flintlocke said and Nadakhan coughed. "Sorry, didn't hear that from a fly who hates romantic moments" Nadakhan said and Flintlocke sighed. "How about some beautiful music for the captain and the princess to sing?" Dogshanks said. "Of course, how about some pianos, soft guitars, and violins to play to make the moment more romantic?" Ronin said to Nadakhan. "Coming right up" Nadakhan said as he snapped some magic for the instruments to appear where Jay and Nya were at.

Lightning strikes which freaks Cole out and Nya laughed. "You must be afraid of lightning, Cole, it's not harmful" Nya said and Cole crossed his arms.

Edna squealed and she hugged Jay. "Jay, if you ever meet someone you love, make sure you are able to take care of her and treat her like your one true babe" Edna said. "Mom, I'm single, no girl will never love me" Jay said. "Jay, as you grow up, there will be one girl who will end up fall in love with you by your blue eyes and your eyebrow scar" Edna said and Jay smiled. "Thank you, mom, I gotta go to Nadakhan and dad to do some more training" Jay said and he left the kitchen.

Rain started to pour which Jay and Nya don't even mind as they danced on a hill and cherry blossoms and daisies surround them as they dance. When lightning strikes, Jay lift Nya up in the air and spin her making her laughed. Nya noticed that Jay's not afraid of lightning and smiled. Thunder boomed and nature vines make a bridge for Jay and Nya as they danced gracefully.

Flowers spun around Jay and Nya as they went by a cherry tree and they both held hands, they looked at each other and smiled.

Jay and Nya closed their eyes and their lips were 14 inches apart.

Jay and Nya's lips were about 5 inches and they were about to kiss until water splashed on them.

"Hey, who throw water at us?" Nya said. "Sorry, princess, captain, but we are sorry of splashing water at you both while you both are enjoying your beautiful moment" Nadakhan said. "It's okay, Nadakhan, but hey, that dance was beautiful" Jay said. "Indeed, it was, Jay, I felt safe around you" Nya said. Jay and Nya stare at each other and cherry blossoms started to fall and Jay and Nya laughed.

"Nya, there's something I need to tell you" Jay said. "What do you want to tell me, Jay?" Nya said. "I'm planning to send you back to the palace so you can marry Cole for your wedding tomorrow" Jay said. There was no answer from Nya which worries Jay. But instead Nya hugged him. "Thank you, Jay, for everything in the past few days" Nya said. "No problem, I just want you to feel happy for the rest of your life and I bet this Cole guy will make you more happier once you marry him" Jay said with a sad face not looking at Nya. "Aww, that's so kind, Jay, you must be really caring about my relationship with Cole, Cole's my true love and I love him so much" Nya said. Jay sighed and a tear fall to the ground and he walked away from Nya. "Jay! Wait up! Please tell me what's wrong with you!" Nya yelled but Jay ignored her and he head back to the ship. Nya gasped and she continued running to him. "Jay!!!!!!! Please stop walking so fast!!!!!! You need to tell me what's wrong with you!!!!!!!! Is it something I said to you?" Nya yelled and Jay heard and stopped running.

"Yes, Nya, you said something wrong to me! I cared about you for the past few days because I-" Jay stopped what he said and continued walking. Away from Nya. He's heartbroken due to what she said because deep inside, he already knew that Nya never knew the true meaning of true love and that she talks about Cole so much that she loves him due to her engagement. He wants her happy and due to following his adoptive father's footsteps, a captain will never fall in love. Jay regrets liking Nya and continued becoming the true captain of pirates.

Nadakhan and the other pirates were sad and Nya went up to Nadakhan. "Where is Jay going once he's back at the ship, Nada?" Nya said. "We all thought you are the Captain's true love but we thought wrong about you" Nadakhan said very cold. "True Love? What do you mean?" Nya said. "Princess, I'm afraid to say this but the reason why you are the Captain's true love because the daisy he had reminds him of you" Dogshanks said. "What? Why would a daisy reminds Jay of me?" Nya said. "Nadakhan perform a spell to seek Jay's memories of why he take care of the daisy and he, I, Flint, and Dogs are the only ones who knew. Jay forgets this memory due to him following in his father's footsteps to be the true captain of the pirates" Ronin said. "We tried to find you to make the captain happy but right now we all regret it!" Flintlocke yelled. Nya gasped and Dogshanks went up to Flintlocke. "Let's go, Flint, our plan 4 is over. Have fun with your true love, Cole, princess" Dogshanks said and the pirates head back to the ship.

"Nya?" Someone said and Nya turned to see who it is. It reveals to be Kai, her brother, with Zane, Lloyd, and Dareth tagging along with him. "Kai!" Nya said and Kai got off of Flame and hugged her. "Nya, I miss you so much" Kai said and Nya let go of the hug. "I'm a complete jerk to Jay, Kai" Nya said. "Why is that? Who is this Jay guy?" Kai said in a very overprotective tone. "Jay is someone who seem to care about me so much and I never knew why he care about me" Nya said. "Oh my God! Yes, he sounds way better than Cole!" Kai said and Nya sighed. "Tomorrow's the wedding and I'm happy my true love is Cole, Cole and I are One True Pair and I'm happy with that" Nya said with a not so happy tone. "Are you, Nya? Are you happy with Cole or Jay?" Kai said. "What? Look, Kai, let's get back to the palace and get some rest, I'll think about it" Nya said and she got on Flame. "Alright, Nya, let's go back home" Kai said and he climbed into Flame and kicked Flame for him to go leading Zane, Lloyd, and Dareth to the palace.

"Captain, why are you about to say to the princess?" Nadakhan said as he closed Jay's bedroom door. Jay was wearing his original blue captain uniform and looked at the daisy. "I cared about Nya in the past few days because I love her" Jay said and Nadakhan gasped. "But she's getting married and ever since I tell her that she's going back to see Cole, she seems pretty happy about it and I guess all I had to do is follow my father's footsteps. There is no room for love when you are a captain of your own pirate crew" Jay said as he put on his captain hat and opened up his door and sighed. "Nadakhan, tell everyone to come to the cabin, I got a perfect place to steal stuff" Jay added and walked away. "Yes, captain" Nadakhan said and looked at the daisy. He touched a petal and end up seeing a vision.

"Dad, Nya will love this necklace! It's able to summon crystals and can harm people who she touches but it won't effect me and you" Cole said holding a green necklace in his hands. "Good, son, now let's get some rest for the wedding tomorrow, plus those crystals are able to take their souls to a portal where they keep those souls and they will be trapped in there forever" Lou said and he and Cole laughed evilly.

"Nya's in danger! I had to tell the captain before it's too late!" Nadakhan said and he looked at the daisy one more time. "Jay had to remember the memory that is very important to his life and the truth of the daisy he kept, there's got to be another item that is connected to the daisy" Nadakhan added and he teleports out of Jay's bedroom to talk to Dogshanks, Ronin, and Flintlocke.

What a long chapter for a Jaya story. With romance and drama, will our two main characters remember the memory that is very important to them? Is Nya happy with Jay or Cole? Will Jay ever save Nya from Cole? Do you think Jay and Nya ever get a happily ever after?
