A couple hours after the siblings reunited with each other, Cole was walking around and heard someone singing. As he followed the voice..he was surprised to see Kai staring at the moon and singing softly.

Cole was so invested in his singing, he hardly noticed that he was out in the open until he heard:

Did you enjoy my performance?

Snapping Cole out of his trance and causing him to start blushing. 

"Well...yes. Did you always sing like that?" Cole asked.

"Actually I did. I've always sang to Nya when she was growing up. And once I was taken..I started to sneak out of the palace and sing to the orphans in the city." Kai said.

"Was it hard being married to the king?" Cole asked.

"Like you wouldn't believe. He always had a tight leash on me and even ordered me to follow his rules. It was like he didn't see me as me and was an object that he can command and boss around." Kai said.

"I'm so sorry that.." Cole said.

"Don't feel sorry. It's not your fault that everything happened to me." Kai said. 

"But none of that should've happened to you. I just wish that we helped you out sooner." Cole said.

"Listen..None of this is any of your fault. No one knew that there was a kingdom underneath Ninjago and that the citizens needed help. You can still save the citizens now and end the reign of my awful husband...who's still looking for me as we speak." Kai said.

"You're right. We can still save the citizens and stop the king. But most importantly..we can help you from getting recaptured by that awful husband of yours." Cole said making Kai laugh a little before Cole lead him indoors. As he did so..he felt something in his heart that he's never felt before. As he shrug it off, he had no idea that he was falling in love with Kai and that he wouldn't be the only one feeling this way.
