"The storm"

"And that's when he vanished!" Lloyd finished explaining his visions to Zane. The master of ice looked perplexed.

"Interesting. It seems to me like whoever this spirit is, truly is trying to prove a point. Perhaps he speaks in rhymes because he likes being cryptic. Or maybe his ghost is a trickster type. Some spirits tend to be playful or like to tease you in a sense. That usually implies they're juveniles."

Lloyd paused. "You mean I'm being haunted by a child!?"

Zane shrugged. "Perhaps. But you shouldn't necessarily think of those encounters like that. Who knows the true reason for him showing up so often?"
Just then, Jay cleared his throat to get the two teens attention. They looked up to see Cole and Jay standing at the oceans edge. Ok then... solid ocean. That MIGHT BE an issue. Jay asked Lloyd what exactly it was that he was planning to do about the situation. After all, the Wind Tribe lived on an island far from the main land. Well, supposedly. Nobody had seen or heard from them in over a hundred years. The point is, they didn't have a boat to even stand a chance of finding out if they were still out there. The green ninja turned to Zane and asked if he could use his ice power to create a boat.
The Ice Emperor pondered. "I mean- I suppose there's no reason I can't. My only concern would be if it had the power to hold all our weight for the whole journey. Ice can be rather unpredictable at times."

"Well, only one way to find out." Cole said as he pat the Ice leaders back a little too hard. The formling held out his hands in front of him as they began to glow and shimmer like freshly fallen snow. The power caught an oncoming wave and it almost instantly began to freeze solid. The water expanded and formed until it turned fully into a vessel fit to sail the sea with. The group looked on in awe. It was unlike any of them had ever seen before. This journey was incredible; showing each member that followed something new. Lloyd had never left the jungle before this, but look at him now! He's wandered grasslands, deserts, snow-covered peaks, and even fought with others who had powers like him. It's bizarre that the different tribes hated each other. All the people in them seemed so nice! It got Lloyd wondering- what exactly made them split up in the first place? Before he knew it, he was shocked out of his trance of deep thought by an electrical pulse. His eyes darted to Jay who was acting like he didn't do it. Wow. They were pretty darn far from land now. The ice boat was doing a surprisingly good job of sailing. And it was just a last minute thought! Zane was at the helm, using his ice powers to steer and control the ship.

"Lloyd.?" He called. "It would be greatly appreciated if you could pull out your map. I would like to know where I'm going."
The green ninja nodded and pulled out the map from his satchel. It said to navigate more southeast, so that's the way they turned. It was pretty smooth sailing until the sky began to darken. Jay looked up towards the wall of clouds they were headed into; worried. Cole shared the same expression, then turned to Lloyd. "Hey, the desert doesn't usually get much rain, so I wouldn't know, but do rainclouds usually look like this?"

Just then, a bold of purple lighting nearly struck the boat; it getting thrown slightly off course due to Zane’s evasive actions. Lloyd whipped around to face Cole; his face stained with terror. "No Cole. Take it from someone who lives in a rainforest- this isn't normal...!"

Another bolt shot down on top of them, but Jay quickly deflected it. His movements were almost as fast as the blasts he was deflecting. The clouds all around them crackled with purple electricity, and the waves became more and more violent. The little ice boat was tossed around like a rag doll in the open ocean. Minutes passed of them trying to fight the storm, but to no avail. It was too strong. A wave of horror washed over Zane as felt the ice beneath his feet cracking. Before he could do anything, it shattered, and everyone plunged into the cold, dark water. Jay panicked; screaming for someone to help him, since he couldn't swim very well. Cole swam as fast as he could towards his drowning friend, but a large wave crashed into both of them, sending them below the surface. Lloyd used his powers to light the surrounding area, however, he didn’t see anybody. He called out for any of them, but got no response. As panic began to sink in, Zane, in his falcon form, swooped down and pushed him a piece of the broken raft. It wasn’t much, but it kept him afloat. The bird frantically scanned the oceans surface for the others, but didn't see them. Suddenly, Cole and Jay burst out from under the surface gasping for air. Cole looked like he was desperately trying to swim for the both of them, and Jay looked like he had inhaled too much sea water and was about to pass out. Zane swooped over, grabbed the back of the collar of Cole’s shirt, and towed them to another piece of frozen debris. He turned back into a human and used his powers to fuse the two shattered fragments together. He held tightly to both the raft, and his friends. The icy shard was tossed around violently until the split second when a lightning bolt struck, causing everything to fade to black.

Lloyd could barely breathe, he was drenched, and so disoriented. He coughed as he sat himself up. It hurt. He was on a beach. The sky was cloudy and dismal, but it appeared to want to clear up soon. The green ninja was groggy, but was overjoyed to see everyone there around him. Zane and Cole appeared to have also just woken up, but Jay was still out like a light. Zane cautiously asked if everyone was alright.
The master of earth groaned as he grabbed his head and sat up. “I think so? Just a little sore, that's all. What happened?"

"I believe we have been shipwrecked and washed up on an island."

Lloyd looked around frantically. "So there IS an island out here! Then that means the Wind Tribe must not be too far away!" He exclaimed hopefully. Jay’s eyes fluttered open as he began to prop himself up and cough up what was probably a dangerous amount of sea water. He shuddered at the realization. Cole helped him get up and start walking as they headed into the jungle behind him. Lloyd took in the scent of the trees and other foliage. It smelled so much like Hiroshi’s Labyrinth. Like home. His hopeful smile widened even more at the thought of his village. Lloyd wondered what magnificent sights and cultures await them at the Wind Tribe village. What would all the people be like? Would they be similar to how the Jade Tribe was? Operating as one big family? Oh, the possibilities are endless!!! Just as his hopes were skyrocketing, they entered a clearing and he felt his heart sink so deep that it physically hurt. They found the Wind Tribe village. The burnt down, demolished, long abandoned village.

"What happened here?” Questioned Cole.

Lloyd picked up a charred piece of debris from the ground and growled like an angry dragon. "Fire Tribe...”

"So that’s why they've been so quiet the last hundred years. There isn't any left. They're all gone...” Jay looked downwards in melancholy.

Zane confirmed that it looked like it had been abandoned for a long time. Nobody lived there anymore. They really were all gone...? The Fire Tribe really...... wiped them out? Those MONSTERS. The group stared at the fallen village for a moment before turning to walk away. Then, Lloyd froze. He was in his alert, listening pose. Like a wolf, he stood completely silent and just listened. Soon, it became something all of them could hear. The foliage rustled as something approached; getting ever closer. Suddenly, a figure jumped out of the shadows and tackled Lloyd to the ground. The two fought around, but Lloyd overpowered them, and pinned them down. He snarled at his attacker, but reacted in shock once he realized what had happened. The boy he pinned down was struggling to get out of the green ninja‘s grip, but was visibly weakened. His knotted black hair was down to about his shoulders, with one section of it being an unnatural green color. He was filthy, covered in camouflage paint, like Lloyd, and was emaciated. His breathing was heavy, but they refused to stop struggling. Lloyd finally stepped off, but he remained on the jungle floor. Cole questioned who he was and why he attempted to attack them. The mystery boy slowly got to his hands and knees and snarled at them like a wild animal. Jay took a step back. "Oh, First Spinjitzu Master, not another one... Lloyd, you speak savage! What's he saying?"

Lloyd shot him a death glare before redirecting his attention back to the boy. “Um- Hello. My name is Lloyd Garmadon. I mean you no harm, I promise. My companions and I are here to warn you about the Fire Tribe. They’re planning to attack; just like they did 16 years ago. We're here to unite the tribe leaders to help defend Ninjago."

The boy scowled at the group before standing up. “I am Morro." He glanced over at the obliterated village. "As you can see, there is no Wind Tribe anymore, so it would be best if you just leave."

"But we came all this way! We can't leave empty-handed!" Jay cried out as Morro began to walk away.

"Not my problem. Please go away." He growled.

"But what about you?" Inquired Cole. "Why are you here?"

Morro paused. "I-... I just... *sigh* Since I doubt you'll be leaving, I think it would just be easier to show you." The boy ran off, with the others tagging not to far behind. Eventually, they stopped in the middle of the jungle. A few barley scrapped together huts rested against a few trees, and a puny campfire sat in the middle. "Alright. I... sort of lied before. About the Wind Tribe being all dead? Well... here we are. Welcome to what's left of us."

The ninja glanced around at the sad little excuse for a living space; feeling really bad. Lloyd looked at Morro with guilt on his face. "The Fire Tribe did this, didn't they? Take away your home?"

The boy nodded. "After the attack, they left us with little to no resources left. We've been fading ever since. I'm the leader. It's my responsibility to keep everyone safe.... it's.... difficult." A young boy stepped out of one of the huts looking fearful. His messy brown hair had a few sticks and leaves knotted into it. He, similar to Morro, had barely anything on. Only what could possibly qualify as poorly made pants; it was honestly more like a deformed skirt. He was also rather gaunt and dirty. He rushed to the leader’s side and hid behind him. Cole tried to wave kindly, but it caused him to hide further. "This is Nelson." Morro started. "And there's a few others, but I don't see them."

Nelson peered up at him. "They’re out trying to find something to eat by the river."

"Ah, I see." The wind leader had a hopeless expression for a moment before shaking it off. "Well, I don't think you don't have to be scared of these people. Besides, they're only here to recuperate for tonight. They'll be leaving first thing in the morning." He have them a warning glare as he finished the sentence.
What? No! Lloyd couldn't believe it! He had to get Morro on board with their cause! Garmadon said to unite ALL the tribes. That includes the Wind Tribe. Even if it was only a few people left. Lloyd had to figure out what to do. And fast...
