Chapter Six: Snakes  

~2 weeks after GreenFlame~  

  Kai relaxes in bed with a historical book to read. The account was about the great Anacondrai VS Venomari war. He read with anticipation, always happy to learn a bit more about history. When The other ninja get back from a spider filled mission, Lloyd goes to his room and finds Kai on his bed. "You really like my bed, don't you?" Lloyd asks, crawling in and laying his head on Kai's chest. Kai hums in response, zoned into his book. Lloyd chuckles a bit. That was his Kai alright.  

  An alarm sounds, and Misako demands Kai's presence as well.   

"What I want to know is why is even here. He's no good if he's to scared of the spiders to fight." Jay asks. "Yeah, all he does is read all day." Nya agrees. "And besides, I don't want my brother to be exposed to his biggest phobia, it isn't right." She adds. "I stay because Lloyd is here." Kai replies from his book. Lloyd hugs him after that, kissing his cheek. Kai smiles as he reads after that.

"Well, we'll need Kai in the field for this." Misako says. Kai's book drops to the floor. "WHAT?!" He screeches. Lloyd rubs his back gently. "The spiders can only be killed by fire Kai, and my son will not be the only one doing it. Zane and Nya will have your flank. Cole & Jay, your on Lloyd duty. Ronin, you'll scout ahead for danger in the mech." Misako commands. They all nod, having no choice but to except their fates.

  As Kai walks around with Zane and Nya behind him, his eyes dart around and his hands shake. He did not like this, not at all. A spider pops out of an ally under the night sky and charges at Kai specifically. Kai burns it, but more show up. They swarm the street.  

  Lloyd walks around with Cole and Jay. "It's been two hours, where the fuck are the spiders?" Jay asks aloud. "HELP!" They hear Nya's voice over the com and run to her location. They see the swarm of spiders and their eyes go wide. Nya and Zane are webbed to light posts as all the spiders swarm in on Kai, ignoring the others existence for him.  

  "Why the hell do they all want Kai?!" Jay shouts as he electrocutes a random spider. "I don't know! I don't care! I just know that we have to protect him if their after him!" Cole shouts back. "It is curious though." Zane admits from his position, tied to a nearby post. "Oh, yeah... We might want to free you." Jay says with a nervous blush. He had forgotten about Zane and Nya. Cole uses his scythe to cut them free and they all race to reach Kai, taking out random spiders in the process. When they reach Kai he quickly grabs Lloyd and doesn't let go. Lloyd blushes up redder then any suit Kai ever wore. As they all blast away at the spiders, more just keep coming. Wu ends up joining in with Ronin, but they weren't even making a dent!  

  Misako comes in eventually and still, no help. "This is hopeless! I say we give them Kai and take off!" Jay shouts, exhausted. "What do you mean?" Misako asks. "They seem to be attracted to Kai. If we were to stop fighting, they'd even basically ignore us and just try to nab him." Zane explains. "It's like their obsessed with him, and it isn't exactly helping his paranoia any, he has traps for the things all over our room." Lloyd adds in. Wu and Misako look to each other in question.  

  Kai has had enough! He can't truly fight like this! He goes full on Anacondrai when no one is looking and discovers that the spiders are afraid of him in that form. He smirks. Now he was getting somewhere! He starts taking out the fear stunned spiders with his sword, even going invisible from time to time just to show off. When he finishes taking out what spiders didn't run away, he smirks, turning human again, forgetting the others were there. He turns around to find them staring at him and he gulps. Oops.  

  "WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?!" Jay shouts at the top of his lungs when they get back to the dojo. They all go to the kitchen to sit at the table as they discuss this. "Please Kai, explain." Wu says. Kai gulps as he stands against the wall. He scans the table over. Dareth is even there. Dareth sits beside Wu, then, aster Wu is Misako, then Lloyd, then an empty seat, then Nya, then Ronin, then Cole, then, Jay, then Zane, and then it's back to Dareth. Kai sighs, he couldn't keep the secret forever after all. He knew he'd have to tell them eventually, he just never thought It'd come so soon.  

  "I am half Anacondrai." Kai admits, siting in the empty seat. "Kinda figured that." Cole replies. "How are you half snake when I'm human? Aren't we siblings?" Nya asks. "Well, no. We're cousins. My mom and your dad were twins and both had fire powers." Kai answers. "But, then... Why..." Nya starts, having so many questions and not knowing were to start. "My father is Pythor." Kai starts off, pausing to see everyone's reaction. "PYTHOR IS YOUR WHAT?!" Jay asks in a screech. "Pythor is my biological father. He married my mother, Rachelle, for love and they had me, but his parents forced him to marry my stepmother, Andria, and they had my half sister, Berma. Me, Berma, and our parents originally lived together in the woods. When I was four, however, some men in all black suits came. My mother was taken away first, then they took Pythor, Andria, and Berma. I alone managed to escape. I ran through the woods, trying to find somewhere safe to hide when I fell in a strong river. I next woke up at four weapons. Uncle Ray, Nya's dad, had found me washed up in the river that runs by his house. He took me in after that. I was told that no one could know my true parentage, so I hid as a human. Nya was two when all this happened and I was ordered to never tell her." Kai tells the whole story. Nya, Misako, and Lloyd are all tearing up by the end. "I was surprised to see my father again after Lloyd released him, but I have yet to find my mother, stepmother, or half sister. Pythor is currently back at Four Weapons. He came to live with me not long after I went back there. He's not evil or anything anymore, and we have a good relationship again, so I'm happy. He's a really overprotective father though." Kai adds on. Nya hugs Kai around the waist and Lloyd hugs him around the neck, burying his face in the nook.  

Everyone is shocked by the information. "Wait, if Pythor is your father, and your Nya's cousin... Doesn't that make Pythor Nya's uncle?" Dareth asks. Nya gasps at the information. "Hah! Nya has a snake family!" Jay laughs, trying to lighten the mood. Nya rolls her eyes at her ex, but gives him a silent thanks, she needed the relief. "I don't get it though, how are you able to change form?" Cole asks. "With the aid of my abilities. I have my true form, in which I am most comfortable, and then I can go full human, allowing me to use spinjitsu and use my fire power to the max, and lastly my full on snake form witch you've seen. In that form I have the full strength of a full blooded Anacondrai. I can use my other Anacondrai abilities in any form though, like invisibility witch you've witnessed my father use before." Kai answers in full detail. "Does your dad know your bisexual?" Nya asks. "Yup. It's natural among Anacondrai when you consider my particular sex." Kai answers. "What do you mean? I'm sure Pythor isn't bisexual." Cole asks. "I am not a male." Kai answers. "Your a chick?!" Jay asks after doing a spit take with his water, right in Lloyd's face, the blond now regretted sitting across from him.

  Kai sighs. "I'm not female either." He answers. "What the hell?" Cole asks. "I'm unisex." Kai answers. "Uni-what?" Lloyd asks after drying his face. "Unisex. I have both male and female parts. Not only can I impregnate females, but I can also be impregnated myself by males." Kai explains. "And my mind is officially blown." Jay replies. "So is mine." Seconds Cole. "Well then." Nya says, looking awkward. "That's... New..." Lloyd says, looking awkward as all get out. "I know that that's common for several sea creatures, and come insects, but I never knew there were serpentine like that." Zane states, looking fascinated. "Yup, but unisex's are only among the Anacondrai tribe, non of the other four have such occurrences." Kai replies. "My gender is male though." He adds. "What?" Lloyd asks, confused now. "Sex is biological, gender is mental. A transgender is someone who was born one sex, but identifies with another. Like being biologically male, but felling like a female trapped in the wrong body. Gender is what you feel, your identity, rather then your biology like sex is." Cole explains. "So biologically, Kai is unisex, but he identifies as a male?" Lloyd asks. "Yup. All unisex Anacondrai do so actually." Kai answers. "Oh." Says the blond, still very confused.  

  Lloyd notices how Kai is shaking and grasps his hand under the table. Kai smiles to his lover in thanks. "I can only get knocked up one month a year though." Kai says out of the blue, causing Jay, Cole, and Nya to do spit takes, choking on their drinks. This causes Lloyd to be covered in water from Jay again, Cole to cover Misako in soda, and Nya to cover Dareth in tea. The three hit with the spray dry off. "JAY!" Lloyd screams. "Sorry!" Jay says hurriedly. "How so?" Zane asks casually. "That part of me is only fertile during mating season." Kai answers. "Serpentine have a mating season?" Jay asks. "Only unisex Anacondrai, but yeah. It's in April." Kai answers. "Wait, this is December.... April isn't that far away..." Cole thinks aloud before picking up his phone and texting Lloyd. Lloyd reads the text.  

Cole: NO SEX DURING APRIL!

Lloyd blushes madly. Kai glances at the phone and snickers before whispering in Lloyd's ear.

Lloyd: Kai believes in no sex until marriage.

Jay glances at Cole's phone and smirks.

Jay just joined the group.

Jay: What's the problem Kai? Got a small dick?

Kai just joined the group.

Kai: JAY! I will kill you!

Jay: You didn't deny it!

Kai: I am a proud 12 inches. That means a foot! And I'm thick!

Cole: OH MY GOD! LLOYD IS A PART OF THIS CHAT YOU MORONS!

Jay: 0_0

Kai: -_-

Lloyd: Seriously? I went to Darkly's of all schools! DARKLY'S! Come on man!

Cole: Sorry, I forgot.

Jay: Yeah, you've become such a good boy we kinda forget sometimes.

Lloyd: I AM NOT A GOOD BOY! I'm a bad boy! BAD BOY! >:(

Kai: Suuuurrree you are!

  Lloyd looks up to a snickering Kai in shock. He then looks to the snickering pair that is Cole & Jay. The green ninja huffs in defiance and crosses his arms, glaring into space. Kai, Jay, and Cole fall out of their seats laughing at this as the others look on, wondering what the hell is going on. "Group chat." Is the only explanation Lloyd gives before glaring at his boyfriend. Kai sobers up first, kissing Lloyd on the cheek. "Oh, come one! You know we were just picking on you.~" Kai says, wrapping Lloyd in a hug. Lloyd tries to push away. "Let me go you jerk!" He shouts. Kai rolls his eyes playfully. "If it helps, I think your a badass." Kai says into his ear, causing Lloyd to shiver in delight at the feel of Kai's hot breath on his ear. "A.... A little bit." Lloyd stutters out, blushing like mad. Kai snickers at this and licks his ear. Lloyd shivers even more.  

  "Can I please not be made to witness you molesting my son?" Misako asks, crossing her arms. Lloyd's eyes go wide and he blushes even more. Kai freezes and blushes, suddenly remembering where they are. "Ahem... S-sorry..." Kai says, letting Lloyd go and scotching away a bit. Cole and Jay crack up even more at this.  

"Well... It seems we now have two non-human ninjas on the team." Wu says, trying to keep a straight face and stay calm. You could tell by the sound of his voice that he was highly uncomfortable though.

  "Do you know why the spiders are after you?" Nya asks, trying to get back to business. "N-no... B-but my d-d-dad might." Kai answers, still blushing. "Great then! Call him up!" Dareth says. "There is no phone back at Four Weapons. He stays in touch with me through mail and calling me from a payphone." Kai replies. "Oh." Dareth says. "It looks like I'm making a trip back home. Anyone care to join me?" Kai announces. "I'd like to see what the shop looks like these days." Nya says. "Sounds fun." Jay says. "I-I second that!" Cole shouts. "Why don't we all go?" Misako asks. "Sounds good to me." Wu replies. "Dareth?" Nya says and he looks to her. "You stay here with your students. They need you." She says and everyone else starts nodding vigorously.

Quick confession... IT WAS SO HARD TO WRITE THIS CHAPTER WITH A STRAIGHT FACE WHILE IN SCHOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
