Deep into the oceans of Serenity, lives a rather large island named Ninjago. A lovely city created into the image of the first spinjitzu master. It was the perfect land, said by others. However, when each world is created, there must always be darkness that accompanies the greater good. The ruler of Ninjago tried his best to fight against the darkness that settled in his own lands. But he couldn't. Defeated by the evil forces, he surrendered and eventually perished, in caves that are still unlocatable till this day. Although the first spinjitzu master was no more, the people started to believe into a prophecy, a foretelling that astonished millions. It was the prophecy of the green ninja. It is said that the chosen one that would wield golden divinity, would be in triumph this time. The chosen one would be the one that takes the place of the first spinjitzu master. They would be the master of power, also known as the master of creation.

...you think that the prophecy stops there? You're a fool. That's just the beginning. I don't know what the others have told you, but that's clearly not half of the story. Yes, there will be a green ninja, but there will also be a light green ninja too. Both individuals would be destined to fight together despite their opposite elements. The light green ninja was born among the shadows and created by the supreme warlocks of darkness, that child would be gifted the power of destruction. The capability to destroy not only structures but a whole living person. Now having both ninjas of creation and destruction, together they will try and find a way to work together in harmony. Despite their differences.

They don't have a choice.

"What?! We're invited to the royal palace?!" The blue dressed ninja yelled in pure surprise. Lloyd nodded looking down at the letter, giving an uneasy look at the writer of the invitation. There, stood in bold letters: the emperor and empress of Ninjago. the green ninja felt nervous that he would have to meet with the highest position family here in their city. Yet, his teammates thought that they were the most important in Ninjago, Nope they're mistaken. "Yeah, I think that it's gonna be pleasant to meet them. Don't you think?" Lloyd replied to his friend. At this point, Jay was even more shocked than an actual electricity bolt running inside of him.

"I'm down for that. It's just, aren't you not the tiniest of concerned about the situation we're putting ourselves in?" The fire ninja overheard the conversation and decided to give out his own opinion. Jay and Lloyd's eyes widened as what their teammate said. It was true, meeting the emperor and empress would be a big risk. What if something just attacks in the middle of their meeting? The ninja were still unready from their previous adventure. So many secrets spilled, that it would take them longer than the natural forcefield of the reversal blade to process what just happened a year ago.
Some were still getting used to their new appearances but don't seem to be bothered by it at all. Well..the green ninja was the one with most of the issues about it. He never actually got the ability to live a normal life. Trust me, he enjoyed being the green ninja. But, he was just a child when he discovered that he would need to fight against his own father. Then there was the whole deal where he would need to drink some tomorrow's tea to help the ninja age back and now? there were four weapons that managed to fast forward his future.

"I don't exactly follow?" Jay, being the clueless one, shrugged, showing his confusion towards his two friends. Kai laughed a little. "The ninja and the wealthiest family out meeting? Don't you think that's a little sketchy? " he tried to prove a point only to lead to no avail. However Lloyd nodded at his own turn. "I agree with Kai. I'm sensing something sketchy too. " he told out his own opinion. The blue ninja shrugged. "Is it me or are you guys too paranoid?" he asked.
The green ninja struggled to find an answer. But why was he struggling? He already knew the answer. "Um.. how am I supposed to know? I mean face it Jay, we've fought evil villains in Ninjago almost all the time-" he was cut off by the lightning ninja rolling his eyes.

"Oh yeah, I remember the fight with that Djinn-" he said shortly. Lloyd and Kai moved back a little. A bit confused at his statement. "Uh..Jay I don't think we've ever fought a...what was it? A Djinn? " the fire ninja stated. Jay just shrugged once again and made his way out of the room they were currently in. "Well whatever. I have fought a djinn before...in my dreams. " he lied. Lloyd stretched his hand out to give him a warning. "Hey Jay, can you tell the others that we're dropping by the royal palace in a few hours please?" The leader of the ninjas asked. In which the blue ninja respected his demand. "Sure, I'll tell em. "

In a few hours, the ninja made their way towards the edge of Ninjago. Well, that was where the palace was situated anyways. "I still think this is a bad idea Lloyd. " Kai said grabbing on the back of the driver's seat which was where Lloyd was in. He narrowed his eyebrows, a bit annoyed of hearing that every five minutes however he was right. The leader of ninjas sighed. "Look, I feel the same way. What if something just attacks in the middle of nowhere? but we can't deny this offer. The emperor said that someone in their family really wanted to see us too. " he admitted. Kai fixed his hair a bit. "Well if the emperor and empress are fanboys and fangirls of us-" he was interrupted by Lloyd drifting on the side abruptly, causing them to almost hit a lamppost. Kai was slammed chest first on the seat. "Dude seriously..." he muttered, whilst rubbing his injury a bit.

The other ninja that were on the back of the vehicle laughed at the scene. "Well brother, now you know why you shouldn't assume things. " Nya was still recovering from her aftergiggles. Kai crossed his arms and sat back down beside Zane who was staring off outside the window. He seemed to be observing the view of Ninjago from here. "Ugh, maybe im right ok? They're big fans of us. What if this was just a whole meeting for them to get our autographs?" He suggested again but Lloyd denied it with him stopping the vehicle in front of large vermillion gates. "What's That? " Jay inquired, not too sure what that thing was from his view. Zane moved his head to the left so that his head pokes out of the vehicle.
"It appears to be gates. Very fancy ones." He confirmed. Lloyd drove even more closer to the gates. "We're here guys."

The gates soon opened, the guards that were surveilling on the guard towers were alerted of the ninjas's arrival. Lloyd and the others hopped out of the vehicle and observed their surroundings. Golden vases in each corner of the central square. Inside were jade roses. The green ninja was stunned by those flowers. He has never seen anything like it. Jade roses? What could that possibly mean? there were banners, celebrating their arrival and some of the townspeople were already there. They greeted their saviours with warm smiles. All beneath a summer sky, everything was well. No harm or villainy involved whatsoever. Which made the leader of the ninjas glad that his doubts were just him being paranoid.

"Ah, Ninjas. I'm happy you haven't declined our offer. " they heard a voice speak behind them. As they turned to face the speaker. There stood two outstanding individuals with shining jade kimonos. Lloyd smiled and let out a silent gasp. "Your highness." he lowered his head in a bowing manner. The empress giggled, whom Lloyd remarked that her particular makeup pattern suited her well. "You wanted to see us?" The water ninja inquired, putting her head up.
However, the emperor and empress shook their heads. "Not us, but rather our daughter. Princess Harumi" he introduced to the young girl that was approaching them gently. She gave a small little wave and Lloyd caught himself getting caught up in her beautiful composure.

"Greetings Ninja, I'm very honoured that you could make it to this lovely occasion." She smiled and turned her head towards the green and light green banners surroundings the palace. The fire ninja smiled back. "Ofcourse we wouldn't miss it. It's a pretty special event for us. " he added. Today was the festival of the prophecy of the green ninjas. Lloyd felt very honoured that this year he could celebrate it with the royal family. "Indeed. The green ninja is standing right here n front of me. " she put her hands to her chest as she tried to hold her excitement. Lloyd laughed and blushed. He has never seen someone so excited to see him before. "Yeah...I just wish that I knew the identity of the light green ninja. They're meant to be the element of destruction....I feel like that's a bad thing." he looked down. The princess frowned.
"You'll find who they are pretty soon. I promise." she reassured him.

Before Lloyd could ask her about that last sentence of hers, the emperor coughed. "Ahem, shall we?" he turned his attention to the palace. Kai and Jay smiled awkwardly. "Oh yes...Ofcourse your majesty." they apologized and told the others to get going inside. A festival wasn't going to celebrate itself. So far, the ninja seemed to have plausible feelings have the emperor and empress of Ninjago. But Lloyd? he felt like he has completely fallen for the jade princess's charms.
Though, one thought remained in his head as he climbed up the quartz staircase. Could the princess know more about the light green ninja? and what exactly does she know about that individual of destruction?
