Jay's p.o.v.

Waking the next morning, I look over to the clock. It's time for training. Oh, waaait, they guys went on a mission and left me here alone with Kai. Not that I don't mind, he's just...closed off. I would be too if I was a slave from birth. I still don't believe the records stating Kai's mother is dead. If so, we would have found the remains when we searched. Getting up, changing into some clothes, I go to get breakfast.

The smell hits like a ton of bricks as Kai walks out. He sets a plate down infront of me, eggs, bacon and grits. Taking a bite, the flavor explodes in my mouth. Kai looks at me, swallowing, I wrip my mouth. "This can rival Zane. It's really good." I say. Kai gives a nod, going to his seat and pulls out a sculpture.

He eats while painting it. "Say, I'm going to do a little training. Afterwards, if you want, you can play video games with me." I say. Kai picks his head up, I think he'll accept but he just looks at me. "What's...games." Kai mutters. I remember Cole telling us all something.

'Speak slow and soft. Explain what your doing. If not, Kai panics and runs away.'

Cole told us this on the third day Kai was here. Cole had wanted to help Kai with a shower and Kai flipped out. We found out that day Kai would sometimes be raped while taking a shower. After Cole explained to Kai he was going to wait outside the door, Kai agreed to the shower.

"Games are things we play to pass the time." I explain. Kai's eyes light up than dim. "Games were played. But, I would ruin them. Master would come to me and I would tell the game the others played. They didn't like me cause of it. So, anytime a game was played, it was done away from me." Kai says. "Well, you don't have to feel left out. We all play games here. I'm going to train, you can finish that or watch." I tell hem. "I'd like to finish this. Maybe join you for games later." Kai said. I nod, I go out.

Commlink cracking, I answer. 'How's Kai doing.' Cole asks. "I got hem to talk to me, hang on." Kai walks out, sculpture in hand and sits on the deck. "I don't want to be alone." He says, continuing. 'Jay.' "Sorry, Kai walked on the deck from the dinning room. He didn't want to be alone. I'm fixin to train for a while than go back in. Might show Kai how to play the station." I said. 'He's warming up to you. We'll be done in a bit, maybe mid-afternoon.' Cole states, the comm cuts off.

I run through kata's, noticing Kai glancing every now and then. After two hours, I stop. "Lets go in, get some water and I'm going to take a shower. Afterwards, I'll show you the games, if ya want." I tell hem. Kai finishes what part he's on and gets up, we head in.

Kai's p.o.v

I sit at the dinning room table waiting for Jay to get out. I'm actually looking forward to playing games with hem. Soft pads sound as Jay walks in, towel around his shoulders. "Ready." He asks. I nod and get up. Covering the clay with my bag, I put it in the studio Cole and Lloyd built for me. Jay waits for me as I shut the door. "One day, may I see inside." He asks. "Maybe some day." I say. Jay walks to a room, a couch, tv and a coffee table in it. "Welcome to the entertainment room." I stiffen at the name. "But, call it whatever you want." "Family....room." I studder out. Jay notices my unease, he backs up to give me space. Reaching for a remote, I curl on the couch as he sets a box up. "This is an x-box one s. We play games on it." I nod as he hands over a controller. He shows me the botten lay out and we play. Though, I'm not very good, I have fun. Jay pokes my side, I yelp. He looks at me, a grin on his face. Jay dances his fingers on my side, I throw my head back, laughing for the first time in ever.

"Whahhahhahat is thaahhaahhis." I say. "Your ticklish, and I'm tickling you." Jay goes to my belly and I buck, laughing harder. "STahahahOahahahP. Noooaahhahaha moahahaherahaha." He keeps on, I squirm and try to block but he keeps on. We end up falling off the couch, hem on top still ticking me.

Cole's p.o.v

We get back, putting our stuff down, Zane holds a hand up. We look, it dead quiet. Than, laughter sounds. "STahahaOahahaP. PLEhehehSAhahaES." Kai's voice ranges out. "Say uncle." We run to the family room, Jay on top of Kai, Kai squirming as Jay tickles hem. Jay let's go, looking to us as Kai breaths deep, a stray laugh here and there. Kai looks back, sees us and smiles. Not his small, bearly there smile, this one's all teeth.
