Kai's p.o.v

Wu, mom and dad sit across from me. We sit in Wu's room so not to be disturbed. Bella is in mom's arms as I look at the three. "So why have you called us son. Not that we don't mind. You didn't call for a social meeting, did you." Dad asks.

"I've been hearing voices other than mine all week. At first, I thought it was the stress of being a new parent but it kept on.

"The other day, I was in the bathroom about to shower, Cole watching Bella. Taking my shirt off, it got caught. Managing to pull it off, I got a shell shock." I said.

"What kind, son." Mom asks. I turn around, pulling my shirt off. The fourty-eight foot wings alone seen. Due to the now triple joints, when folded, they are hidden from sight. Turning back, dad has a look in his eyes.

"The Zodiac family lineage goes back to the time of the first spinjitzu master. They're were twelve guardian's. Sux had one ability, six had the other." Dad begins.

"The abilities were either telepathy or power of flight. The six with telepathy trained in the ways of the mind. They had such control, the master of mind couldn't read them.

"The ones of flight could rival the masters of speed, gravity, and air. They could reach the clouds without breaking a sweat. Dive and maneuver in a spit second.

"The twelve protected the first spinjitzu master, but, tragedy struck. The six with telepathy thought they should rule over the ones if flight, thinking they were more powerful. A civil war broke out among the twelve. A war that has been raging to this day. The children if the twelve branches lift and started clans of their own.

"One day, thousands of years ago, one of the telepaths foretold a prophecy.

A child will be born from love and hope.
Only to grow up knowing pain and hardship.
Only when he's learned true love and hope
With the combined powers restore the Zodiac family
And the war will end.

"None have been able to find this child, untill now. You, my son, are the descendent of a flyer named Faline, the leader if the flyers. You must restore the Zodiac family to its former glory." Dad says.

I'm speechless, how can I restore an entire family when I've bearly begun mine. "But...I'm I worthy. I'm I ready for such a toll." I ask.

"No one's truely ready, Kai. But, you have us..." Wu begins.

"No, Kai has to do this alone. The others may know about Kai's mission, but, none can interfere. A Zodiac started this war, A Zodiac must finish it." Dad says.

"But why me. I'm a former slave who's been free for a year and a half. I never knew love or hope till......I met Cole. I'm the...the child of prophecy. The bridge between the two." I say.

Dad nods, he stands as does mom. Wu goes to the door. "I believe we have to tell the others." He says, opening the door.

To say Cole is mad is an understatement. "I could have helped you love." He says. "But you shut me out. All of us. And now you have to go on a quest." He holds Bella so he's not yelling, for once.

"I'm sorry, I didn't want y'all to think I was crazy. Hell, I almost went crazy just listening." Cole hugs me.

"Your perfect the way you are. I dig the wings by the way. Now, go, restore your family. I got Bella." Cole says, kissing me.

Pulling away, I go to the deck. Standing on the rails, I look to my family once more "I will return." With that, I jump off, winging opening and I take to the air.
