Cole's p.o.v

I push on the steel beam trapping my leg. Lloyd lays not far, he's out cold. Zane was thrown out into the street, Jay is crouched over the lemp form of Nya, he's the only thing keeping another steel beam from crushing her. I put my weight to the beam on my leg, I notice a patch of red on my pants. Shit, most likely the artery is severed, meaning, if I want any chance of surviving, I have to leave the beam. The Pyro maniac is still in here, hopefu....the barrel of a gun is placed to my head. I don't move nor can I as he cocks the gun.

Jay looks up at me, his knee gives, he drops to it, a pop sounding as his shoulder dislocate's. 'Of, master of fire, if there was a time for you to pop up, now would be it.' I pray. The man suddenly cries in pain as I hear the whistle of throwing stars. 'Wu, did you come to save us' I think. A figure slams its feet into the man, jumps off and round house kicks hem. The figure lands beside me catlike and I see it's the master of fire. He spares a glance at me, than charges the guy. He moves too fast for hem to get a shot. At one point, he kicks the maniac into the beam with enough force to rock the beam, I cry out as it puts pressure on the artery.

"Your to late." The maniac says, after fire master had slammed hem into what remains of a support beam. He holds up a remote. Faster than he can even touch the botton, faster than Zane can throw, a star is embedded in the remote. "No, that was my grand finially. No...." "throes that harm my friends meet my fist, this that harm my family, meet my fire." Kai's voice ranges out, he throws a fire ball at the guy. Satisfied.....Jay cries out as his other leg gives. "Jay, hold on." Kai runs to hem, pulling Nya out than helps Jay. Jay stumbles to his feet, taking Nya and getting out. Kai than helps Lloyd, who's regaining consciousness. I wait as Kai runs back in to me. He rips his mask off, rips mine and ties two ends together. He than turns them tight about the severed artery.

He shoulders the beam, I help and together we tip it. He helps me up, Kai takes my weight and helps me out. The fire is out of control, Kai gives me to the EMT's and turns back to the blaze as firefighters try to contain it. Kai holds his hands out, eyes and body glowing as he taps into his full potential. The fire stops than, to all of our shock, draws to Kai. He absorbs the blaze, nothing remains, not even embers.

Kai closes his eyes, tossing his head back and let's loose a dragons breath. He turns to me as the EMT's load me up. "Can I ride." He asks. "Relationship." "Fiancee." Kai says, me nodding. The EMT let's Kai in, he sits on the bench. The doors close, the ambulance pulls off. Kai takes my hand and I his as the woman smiles at the two of us. She sticks me with an I.V as Kai kisses my cheek. "I'll explain when everyone's in the room." Is all Kai said as he lowers his head to my side. I stroke his hair, the morphine kicking in and I fall asleep.
