On top of the mountain, the Crystal King struggled with Garmadon, Lloyd with the help of Harumi and (Y/N). They dealt him blows wherever and whenever they had the chance.

Lloyd, of course, got another reprimand from his father and he got a fist to the face from his son in response to his complaining. However, now reconciled they fought against Werath.

- Stop fighting, you fools! The power of destruction will not defeat me! I am Oni and you aren't able to kill me! We can fight like this indefinitely!

- Pretty encouraging. - Garmadon said.

The Crystal King swung his tail and knocked them all to the ground. They stared at him with burning anger and hatred.

The King charged both fists with great power and was about to strike them when a mighty roar rang out. Everyone raised their eyes and looked at one of the buildings where He stood. Darkness in his lion form, looking straight at his creation of the past.

And behind him appeared a huge sea of warriors from the Moon Kingdom. Centaurs, manticores, dogs of death, minotaurs and to the amazement (Y/N), stone monsters. Krakenskull and his beast, the Three Brothers, the Grimrocs and the gargoyles with their general Garg. 

- Impossible. - whispered Werath.

Harumi, Lloyd, Garmadon and (Y/N) looked at him with mischievous smiles and satisfied glances.

- Okay... I have to admit that he has a sense. - Lloyd said with a giggle.

Darkness quickly moved into the swarm of battle along with his army. The Crystal King roared in fury and pushed all four of them off the mountain. Lloyd and (Y/N), who had an injured wing, grabbed onto the maw, carving its face into the rock. Harumi began to fall to the ground and Garmadon rushed to catch her. Werath waited for his creator to arrive. 

(Y/N) and Lloyd began to lose pressure on the stone, before they let go and began to fall. Suddenly, a fog began to flash towards them and they were absorbed in it.

Lloyd and (Y/N) opened their eyes and saw, that they were caught and sitting on the heads of a four-headed dragon. A beautiful, glowing golden dragon.

- Woah... is that, what I'm thinking of. - Lloyd said with a smile.

- Gosh, how I love you guys! - squealed (Y/N), hugging the head of the red and white dragon.

The dragons murmured at this, before looking at the Crystal King and roaring at him, throwing themselves into an attack. The Crystal King spread his wings and took off in pursuit of the dragon.

The dragon, after a brief clash, neutralized the king, attacking him with all four elemental powers. He then struck with his massive tail and destroyed the demon.

The mountain began to disintegrate. The dragon quickly flew away as the mountain exploded moments later. The storm clouds disappeared, showing a beautiful setting sun.

The dragon landed on one of the buildings and (Y/N) and Lloyd jumped off. Kai, Cole, Zane and Jay were already there and happily ran to them, drowning them in a group hug.

- (Y/N)! You're back to your form! - exclaimed Jay.

- Yes, finally the end of all this drama! - exclaimed Kai, once they had moved away.

- You guys were amazing! That dragon! Wow! - (Y/N) cried out still amazed at what, had happened.

They laughed and once again, this time separately, hugged each other. A moment later, Garmadon, Harumi, Wu, Misako and the rest of the League of Heroes rushed onto the roof.

They all stopped and stared in shock at (Y/N). However, they ran up and threw themselves into a hug. (Y/N) was knocked to the ground by Saber and Draco. She laughed out loud and hugged them. She got up from the ground and shook off the dust and was hugged again by the knights.

- You have returned and regained your form! - exclaimed Macy.

- The next time you need help, come to us, okay? Even if it would be 1am. - said Lance.

- Sure. - she replied and she sent everyone a smile.

The knights went to the ninja to talk to them. (Y/N) looked at Aaron, who was standing off to the side looking at her with a slight smile and crossed arms.

She slowly walked up to him and smiled slightly. Aaron laughed and hugged her tightly. (Y/N) returned the hug just as firmly. They sighed happily and pulled away from each other.

They looked into each other's eyes before the princess' gaze fell on his cheek, which was freshly cut. She looked at his wound.

- What happened to you?

- Eh, just a scratch, I'll be fine. - He shrugged his shoulders.

- But, it's not.... - she began, but Aaron interrupted her, placing his lips on hers.

(Y/N) tensed up before she melted and returned the kiss, entwining their hands. Suddenly there was a whistling sound and they moved away from each other. They looked behind them and saw the assassins, who stood leaning on their weapons and all but Harhuss smiling.

- Oy, shut up. - Harhuss said.

- Destroyer of fun and slayer of children's smiles. - said Miro, before squealing and starting to run away from an annoyed Harhuss.

Aaron and (Y/N) looked at each other and laughed. A roar and a shout rang out. Everyone looked in the direction of the sound perplexed. Suddenly Darkness and Aya appeared next to them all with tired smiles, leaning against each other.

(Y/N) nodded respectfully to them, which Aaron did. The siblings nodded back. The girl and boy looked at each other and walked closer to them. They knelt in front of them and bowed their heads down. The heroes came up behind them and also bowed.

- Rise. Princess and Defenders of the Kingdom. - said Darkness in a soft voice, already sitting on the ground.

All of the heroes stood up except Skylor, PIXAL, Wu, Misako and Garmadon.

- All of you. 

They raised their heads with uncertainty.

- We don't know if we are worthy. - Wu said.

- And for that very reason I know you are. - said Darkness.

Everyone stood and adjusted their clothes.

- So... Werath was defeated? - asked Jay.

Aya nodded and smiled. Everyone sighed in relief and smiled broadly. (Y/N) looked to the side and saw Pythor, Aspheera and Harumi standing shyly to the side. 

She approached them slowly and sent them a slight smile. They reciprocated it and (Y/N) hugged Pythor. Pythor returned the hug and placed his chin on the top of her head.

They moved away from each other and (Y/N) hugged Harumi, who returned it in surprise. All three former villains laughed and hugged as a group.

- Finally, it was over.

They moved away from the hug and Lloyd approached Harumi, who looked down shyly. The two began quietly talking to each other, so Pythor, Aspheera and (Y/N) stepped back.

- So we're good from now on? - Pythor asked.

- Yes. But it will take some time, before they trust you. You know... in Knighton we have some spare rooms in the castle. Actually a whole floor and... you know... you could live with us. How much do you want to live with me and these retards. - suggested (Y/N).

Pythor and Aspheera looked at each other puzzled, before looking at her with smiles.

- If you want to, and you'll be comfortable with us under one roof, we might as well... become roommates. And start new lives... eventually. - Aspheera said.

- Great. However, you will still have to somehow fix, what you have done. They will not easily trust you. - said Darkness approaching.

- We understand, your highness. We will do what we can. - replied Pythor.

Darkness nodded his head. - If you do what I decide to do to you, I and my people will forgive you for your actions and you will not face punishment. Swear to me, that you will never turn to evil again and will not fight against us.

- We swear. - they said together.

- So now what do we do? - Kai asked.

- What we have always done. We're going to rebuild. - replied Wu.

- Everything! It will take us an eternity! - groaned Lance.

- So I propose to start immediately. - he replied.

- Now!!? - everyone groaned.

- I was joking. - giggled the master.

All the heroes' jaws dropped, before they looked at each other and laughed. 

= Skipping time =

Armies from the Light Valley returned home along with the Knighton Army. All the heroes have gathered at the monastery to rebuild it.

- If we repair the monastery at this rate it will take us almost an eternity. - Lance said.

- Don't complain, babe. It's not like we fought and won the war two days ago. - said Madeline.

- It was two days ago. - he replied.

However, Dareth passed and with him other Ninjago residents and began to help rebuild the  Monastery of Spinjitzu. Master Wu sighed contentedly and looked at the setting sun.

- Yes, indestructible.

Not far from the monastery, (Y/N), Darkness and Aya sat in a clearing of buttercups. Both of the rulers were in their lion form and lying on the grass, while she sat with her legs crossed in front of them.

- Is this the end?

- Unfortunately. We have to return to our kingdom and this is most likely the last time we will be given to see each other. - replied Aya sadly.

- Why? Have we done something wrong?

- On the contrary, my dear. But everything has its time. You and your friends have grown up and no longer need our help. It's time for you to start living your own.

- I will miss you guys.

Aya smiled. - We will miss you too. We know very well, that you will do very well in life. The royal one and the heroic one.

- Thank you. For everything. 

(Y/N) chuckled and snuggled into the soft fur of Aya, who giggled affectionately and embraced her with a paw. She stepped back and did the same to Darkness, who returned the hug. 

The trio smiled at each other and got up from the grass. Darkness and Aya bowed to (Y/N), before spreading their wings and starting to fly away.

Aya in the sky created a portal and disappeared into it with her brother. (T/N) sighed sadly, before starting to return to the monastery. 

The story has come full circle. From meeting in an ordinary village to other lands. Evil has already left Ninjago once and for all and will no longer be threatened. Now it is time for them, to live with their lives, which they have always wanted to have.
