Lloyd had been sitting on the wooden floor in the bathroom for two hours. He curled up and had his arms wrapped around his legs.

He wrangled with his thoughts, shaking with despair and fear. His thoughts were still haunted by Harumi.

He didn't admit it to anyone, but he had nightmares. Nightmares associated with her. Like a puppet, the Crystal King controlled the girl of his heart and forced her to do things, which she performed without objection. 

The boy knew very well, that war was coming. Aya is already with them, and they are just waiting for the Crystal King's move. Darkness could come with his army at any moment.

Lloyd was very worried about her safety. If he doesn't do anything about it and save her, she will die... again. And that would no longer survive his already broken heart. The fact, that he couldn't save and help her get back on the good side.

However, he knew there was no chance, without a good power to help. Without additional support, you don't even have a chance of getting to the Temple.

A ball containing the Ancient Power could help him do that. Just how to steal it?

Lloyd paused for a moment and raised his head from his knees. He looked ahead in concentration and glanced at the door outside. He furrowed his brows and sighed. He stood up and put on his kimono.

He stepped out onto the deck and looked over the railings at the League of Heroes, who were talking or fighting as preparations for battle, also bringing Madeline into the plan.

He clenched his hands on the wood and clenched his jaw, as his gaze fell on that device holding the bullets. 

He made a decision. It's now or never. This is the last chance to save Harumi, once you have to break the rules. Being a hero requires sacrifices.

With a nimble movement, he jumped off the ship and started sneaking towards the ball device. Garmadon stepped out from inside the Bounty and looked over the railings at his son and raised an eyebrow, impressed.

- Finally starting to think like Oni.

He quietly headed for the device, but gasped and hid as Saber and Draco walked around the device, playing tag with each other. Saber stopped for a moment and looked toward the old crates, seeing something out of the corner of his eye.

He sniffed his nose and growled, extending his claws. He slowly crept toward Lloyd, who prayed he wouldn't see him.

Draco roared and knocked the lion to the ground in amusement. Saber laughed and started chasing after the dragon, which began to move away.

Lloyd sighed in relief and, after looking around to see if anyone was watching, approached the machine. His eyes glazed over and he was already reaching for the bullet. Suddenly an arrow flew past his head, making the boy jump up and his eyes darted to Aaron, standing next to him with a crossbow in his hands.

- Don't even try, Lloyd. I saw you up to something. You will not take that ball. - He said in a firm tone, aiming the crossbow at him.

Lloyd raised his hands up and stepped back a little. He raised his eyebrows.

- Are you going to shoot me?

- If you don't walk away from the ball then yes. Go away ... slowly. - He growled and took a step forward.

- Aaron, you don't understand. I need this ball.

- For what? We already have a plan in place. Wait for Darkness' army. We will defeat this crystal fanboy for good.

- You don't understand. I... need to save her. Before she is killed, you understand!? I can't lose her a second time! - he said with a desperate tone.

- Lloyd, calm down. We all want to save them. They are all controlled. Do you think, (Y/N) doesn't want to save Pythor?

- You see!? We all have a common goal! All I have to do is touch the ball and take back the power! Nothing will happen. - He said and looked at the ball.

- Don't you dare! If you do, the ball can turn you into ashes! If even nothing will happen to you, you will break the rule from (Y/N)! You will betray her and us!

- Aaron... if (Y/N) had been threatened by something like Harumi is now, you would have done the same thing I did. Forgive me... I have to do it. - He said and reached for the ball.

- No, Lloyd, man no!!!

Lloyd caught the ball in both hands and sighed happily. The ball began to spark and sent a strong electric shock at Lloyd, to whom it meant nothing. The ball emitted a small thunder before it exploded with a huge wave of power that threw Aaron and other things onto the stones. Aaron flew onto a stone block and got stunned.

A ball shook the entire base, which threw everyone off balance.

- The power!!! - shouted (Y/N) and everyone started running to the device, which was turned into dust.

Lloyd felt a great energy passing through him and started laughing ominously, which was very unlike him. Evil temptations, thoughts and power, slumbering in Lloyd's heart and the power of the ball mixed together.

- Yes...! Yes...! More power!!  - he shouted in a joyful voice and his voice was distorted.

The Oni Power and the Ancient Power engulfed the body of the boy, who took it in. He scowled, as the golden aura engulfed him and began to change him. His hands turned into sharp claws, a pair of golden horns began to grow on his head, and his face began to change into that of a real demon.

Instead of the already green kimono, the aura created a golden armor with jade on it's chest. When the aura penetrated his body, Lloyd was no longer there.

Now it was someone completely different. It was Oni... Lloyd... discovering his evil side. 

The League of Heroes came running and gasped in horror and shock, widening their eyes at what was once their friend.

The ball had already absorbed his hand and the demon clenched his hands into fists. He opened his golden, pupilless eyes.

Lloyd let out a very loud roar of fury, spreading his arms wide.

- What is that?! What happened to Lloyd!? - Kai asked.

- This is no longer Lloyd. - said Wu in a distraught voice.

- What do you mean? - Jestro asked, cowering in fear.

- Lloyd discovered his inner self. It's... Oni. - Aya said in a serious tone. - Just like my brother and Garmadon.

Lloyd looked at them with murderous lust and they all scowled at his stare. Draco growled and opened his maw, charging the plasma. He fired a projectile at Oni, which he blocked without hesitation with his hand and accepted it's heat.

Draco, shocked, repeated his attack several times, but got the same result. All of them, having no choice, reached for their weapons, ready to fight what was once Lloyd.

(Y/N) spread her wings in a gesture of dominance and showed her sharp teeth. She growled at Oni in an attempt to intimidate him and let out a loud roar.

Oni growled at her with the same energy, refusing to comply, and issued a mighty roar, showing his also sharp teeth.

Lloyd moved on the dragon and knocked her to the ground, like a wild animal, starting to scratch and bite. (Y/N) in a swift motion, she punched him in the face and knocked him off her.

The pair roared at each other ominously, circling each other. Lloyd lit up his horns with power and teleported.

(Y/N) widened her eyes in shock, when suddenly the tentacles wrapped around her and threw her in the direction of the sharp stones. (Y/N) managed to jump in space and hit her head on Lloyd's back. 

Lloyd quickly stood up and let out a roar, charging his fists with energy. He threw himself at the High Princess and punched her hard in the mouth, then kicked her in the stomach, pulling her back several steps.

Lloyd charged at her and she did a turn in retaliation, striking his chest with her sharp tail. Lloyd whined slightly and (Y/N) charged her hand with energy and slammed her fist into his jade on his chest, sending him flying.

He rolled on the ground and shook his head. He got up from the floor and looked carefully at his opponent.

The League of Heroes started to run at him, but he roared at them and sent an energy wave as he hit the ground with his charged fist, causing them to be pushed back hard.

(Y/N) wheezed worriedly and threw threatening daggers at Oni. She growled at him in fury, as they began to circle each other.

- Why so much hatred in you, Lloyd?

- I just want to help Harumi. And you... are standing in my way. - He hissed at her.

- By turning into a monster, you won't help anyone. And especially her. You said you wouldn't try to become your father at any cost, and what are you doing?

Lloyd growled. - You don't know me. You had great power! You could have saved her, but you didn't! I will do it for you! 

- Stealing power? You broke the law, Lloyd. The most important rule of the League. You obey the order of your Princess.

- So what? Are you going to hail me a traitor and condemn me to execution? - he sneered at her, knowing full well, that she would never do that.

- No. I don't. But... they do. - she said with complete seriousness, referring to the court before Aya and Darkness. - They can send you to Tartarus for that.

- Yeah, and you let them do it.

(Y/N) fell silent. Lloyd sent her a mischievous grin, to which she growled. Lloyd quickly teleported away, and (T/N) gasped.

Oni quickly appeared behind her and hit her hard on the back, sending a paralyzing shock. (Y/N) let out a loud roar of pain and fell to the ground as the electricity hit her.

She looked over her shoulder at Lloyd, who was looking down at her. He sent her a crazy smile, like Yandere.

- Forgive me, but I have to do this. For her. So that in the end, we will be happy. I will save her and come back, I swear.

- L-loyd... don't... beg... don't... do... this. - she howled through paralyzing pain.

Lloyd raised his fist, charging her with a golden mist, then struck her. After that, she saw only darkness. 

Oni smiled with satisfaction and sighed happily.

- I'm coming to get you, Harumi. And I'm going to rescue you. - He said, then turned around and started running away from the base at a fast speed.
