Kai's P.o.v.

In Dareth's dojo, I watch Cole and the other's training Lloyd. Chowa coo's as she wants attention. Lloyd is blindfolded as Jay charges hem.

Jay crashes through the window as Cole charges. I stand, heading down the hall. Climing the roof, walking the ramp of the Bounty, I enter.

Coming to my room, removing the jacket, Chowa cries, clapping as I bring her close. Chowa latches on, gently feeding as a knock sounds.

Mom walks in, smiling as Chowa closes her eyes. "I remember that. You always were gentle." Mom says, I smile as Chowa falls asleep.

Laying her in the crib, pulling my jacket back on, mom goes to step when the ground rumbles. Uncle steps before the door. "The ground moves. I fear unnatural causes." He says. We head for the Dojo.

Cole wraps an arm around me, kissing my cheek. "Where's ChoCho." He asks. "In her crib." I say and hold my phone up, showing the monitor.

The TV is on. "NGTV reporter Gayle Gossip on the scene of what appears to be an earthquake rocking the city of Ninjago. But it's an earthquake like no other, as scientists have yet to pinpoint the cause. And more frightening still, the aftershocks are getting stronger." I look out to the street.

"What do you think this could be?" Cole asks me.

I cross my arms. "Wouldn't be surprised if it was Garmadon. We haven't seen him for a while." I say.

Mom hits my head lightly. "He would never. Y'alls father is evil, but he would never do anything to put his son's in harm's way.

Uncle nods, walking up "Misako's right. He only tried to thwart his training. This is something else.

"But what is it?" Jay asks.

Zane whistles and summons his falcon "My friend, be my eyes and look for danger in the streets from above." Falcon caws, flying off.

I run out, the ninja following me. A woman falls as the earth gives way under her. I jump up, wings forming and flying above the streets.

More earthquakes hit, I get people out of harm's way. Coming to the ninja, their talking. "These things keep coming with no warning." I say, landing. Mom looks at her scroll "That's it. A warning. The scrolls said the earthquakes would be a warning. A warning for something far worse to come." Mom says.

I look at her, walking from the group. "Far worse? What could be far worse?" Jay says as I kneel.

"Misako, the indestructible Stone Warrior we fought yesterday. Where did you find him?" Cole asks as I close my eyes.

"He was buried under the city." Mom says as my fire casts out, going far beyond my range. I sense the Serpentine in a cavern far below me.

Jay gasps "You don't think there's more, do you." Uncle looks around as I sense something else.

My eyes snap open as I shoot to the air. A fist grabs my ankle, I'm thrown across the city. Slamming into Brog tower, I black out.

Cole's p.o.v

Protecting the people of Ninjago, I watch in horror as my beloved mate is thrown into Borg Tower. A Stone Warrior swings at me, I back flip and round house kick it.

I cry out in pain as my ankle creaks, it's broken. We get to the NGTV building, Ultradragon comes back from Borg Tower but Lloyd looks sad.

"Kai wasn't in the building. Ultra couldn't pick up Kai's scent." Lloyd says. My ears fall flat, I look down as the Bounty flies up. We board and Zane looks at my ankle. It has to be placed in a cast.

Using crutches, I go onto the deck, Misako holds Chowa. I go over, taking her one armed as Chowa whines. "I know, I want mama too." I say and hold Chowa close.

Kai's POV

Opening my eyes, I'm in a dirt pit. Rolling over, rattling is heard as I stand. Looking around, I'm not in any old pit, its a pit of dark matter.

"Hello, son." I look up to father on a bridge, an orb beside hem. "Dont even think about escaping, stone warriors patrol the rim and around the camp. Also, the chains are vengestone." The orb says.

A stone warrior drops a pickaxe. "Get digging, boy." The orb laughs. I cross my arms, turning my back. A whip creaks across my back and I drop as it hurts. Grabbing the axe, I reluctantly begin digging.

'Cole, guys, where are y'all.' I think as I work.
