That Cursed ramen song IS cursed!

One day, Jay was humming his infamous cursed ramen song, bouncing around the room with his usual energy. But mid-step, he misjudged his footing, and before he knew it-thud!-he tripped, falling awkwardly on his leg. He winced as a sharp pain shot through him, but being Jay, he brushed it off, limping away like nothing happened.

Days turned into weeks, and though the pain lingered, Jay kept it hidden from everyone. He didn't want to worry anyone, least of all Kai. But the secret weighed on him, especially when every step reminded him of the fall.

One evening, after days of contemplating, Jay finally approached Kai, his heart racing. "Kai?" he started nervously.

Kai looked up from the book he was reading. "Yeah, Jay?"

"I... uh... can I ask you something?"

Kai gave him a curious look. "Sure, what's up?"

Jay froze. His mind went blank, and before he could stop himself, he blurted out, "I just wanted to ask if you were okay! Yeah, that's it!"

Kai blinked in confusion. "Uh, yeah, I'm fine, Jay. Are you sure *you're* okay?"

But Jay didn't wait for more questions. He panicked, spun around, and sprinted to his room, slamming the door behind him.

A few moments later, there was a knock. The door creaked open, and Kai leaned in the doorway, crossing his arms. "You seriously think you can avoid an injury, Jay?" His tone was calm, but his eyes showed concern.

Jay's heart skipped a beat. "I-I'm not injured!" he stammered, trying to play it off.

Kai wasn't buying it. He stepped into the room and walked over to Jay, gently guiding him to sit on the bed. "How long?" he asked, his voice soft but firm.

Jay looked down at his hands, fidgeting nervously. "It's fine," he mumbled.

Kai sighed, crouching down to look him in the eye. "Jay. How long?"

Jay muttered something under his breath.

"What was that?" Kai asked.

"Two weeks..." Jay muttered a bit louder this time, his face flushed with guilt.

Kai's eyes widened in shock. "TWO WEEKS?!" he exclaimed, his voice rising in disbelief.

Jay winced. "Oh, I think he's angry..." he mumbled to himself.

Kai took a deep breath, trying to keep calm. He sat next to Jay and put a hand on his shoulder. "Why didn't you tell me?" he asked gently.

Jay shrugged, trying to smile but failing. "At least it hasn't been hurting for a mo-" He quickly slapped his hand over his mouth, realizing he was about to make things worse.

Kai raised an eyebrow. "A *month*?" he asked, his voice now laced with worry.

Jay didn't respond, his hand still over his mouth, his face growing redder by the second.

With a sigh, Kai pulled Jay into a hug, holding him close. "Oh, Jay..." he whispered, his voice filled with concern.

Jay, who had been trying so hard to hold it together, felt his emotions catch up to him. His calm facade shattered, and tears welled up in his eyes. He buried his face in Kai's gi, his hands clutching the fabric as the tears quietly spilled over.

Kai held him tighter, rubbing his back gently. "You don't need to hide stuff like this from me. I'm here for you, always."

Jay sniffled, his voice shaky as he whispered, "I didn't want to worry you... I didn't think it was that bad..."

Kai ruffled Jay's hair lightly, trying to bring some comfort. "You're more important than any worry, Jay. How did you fall?"

Jay hesitated, then mumbled, "It's not important..."

Kai shook his head, still holding Jay close. "It's important if it's hurting you. Let me help, okay?"

Jay, still leaning into Kai's embrace, nodded quietly.

Kai sighed softly as he gently pulled Jay closer, his arm still around his shoulder. "Alright, Jay, let's take a look at that leg."

Jay's eyes widened slightly, but before he could say anything, Kai had already grabbed his hand, giving it a reassuring squeeze. "I'm right here. I'm not going anywhere, okay?" Kai's voice was soft but firm.

Jay swallowed nervously, nodding. His heart was racing again, but this time it wasn't from fear. It was the warmth of Kai's hand in his, the comfort that came from knowing Kai wasn't upset-he just wanted to help.

Kai guided him to sit on the couch and knelt in front of him, still holding onto his hand, never letting go. "Just let me check, okay? Tell me if it hurts."

Jay gave a shaky nod, watching as Kai gently rolled up his pant leg to reveal the bruised and slightly swollen area. He winced, realizing just how bad it looked now that someone else was seeing it.

Kai didn't say anything at first. He just examined the injury with careful precision, his thumb lightly brushing over the bruise. "Does this hurt?" he asked, his other hand still gripping Jay's.

Jay flinched a little but shook his head. "Not too much."

Kai frowned slightly, his gaze softening. "You should've come to me sooner. You know that, right?"

Jay felt a lump in his throat, but he nodded again. "I didn't want to worry you. I thought it'd just go away on its own..."

Kai chuckled softly, though there was a trace of sadness in his eyes. "Jay, you worrying me by not telling me is worse."

He let go of Jay's leg for a moment to grab some supplies from the first-aid kit he'd brought over. But even as he reached for the bandages and ointment, he never let go of Jay's hand. He held it tightly, his thumb brushing over Jay's knuckles in a soothing rhythm.

Jay watched him, his chest tightening in a way he didn't expect. He wasn't used to being cared for like this-so patiently, so thoroughly. The warmth of Kai's hand in his was grounding him, keeping the nerves at bay.

As Kai began wrapping Jay's leg, he glanced up every few seconds to check on him. "You doing okay?" he asked, his tone gentle.

Jay nodded, though his voice came out softer than he intended. "Yeah, I'm... I'm okay."

Kai gave him a small smile. "Good. Almost done."

True to his word, Kai finished wrapping the leg, securing the bandage with a final touch. He sat back a little, still holding Jay's hand, and gave him a reassuring squeeze.

"There, all done," Kai said, his smile growing. "See? Nothing to worry about."

Jay let out a breath he didn't realize he'd been holding, his body relaxing slightly. "Thanks... for, you know, helping."

Kai leaned back against the couch, still not letting go of Jay's hand. "You don't need to thank me, Jay. That's what I'm here for."

Jay looked down at their joined hands, his thumb lightly tracing over Kai's fingers now. "You... didn't have to hold my hand the whole time."

Kai chuckled softly. "I figured you might need it." He paused for a moment, then added, "And if you ever need it again, I'll be here. Always."

Jay's eyes stung again, but this time it wasn't from fear or nerves. He smiled faintly and squeezed Kai's hand. "I'm glad you are."
