Kai hit the wolf mask warriors on the mask. " Keep the heat up!" He yelled, shooting fire everywhere.

" LOOK OUT WHERE YOU'RE FIRING!" Nya yelled back as she put out the fire on the wall.

" Sorry!!"

Suddenly, there was a strong wind, sweeping two into the air and far, far away.

Then, two blobs of darkness were shot into the air and surrounded two more warriors. 

They were sucked into a black hole.

And then blue light surrounded the rest of the warriors, and they were sent flying into the air.

Lloyd, Cole, Zane, Kai and Nya exchanged a look. " Who's there?" Lloyd called. " Show yourself!"

There was a familiar laugh. " Miss me?"

Kai gasped. " Mia?!"

The person ran into Kai's arms. " Kaiiii!!!"

Nya ran to Mia, and they shared a big hug.

Emma nudged Annie. " I should sketch this."

Annie shook her head, smiling. " Nah. Let 'em have their moment."

Kai looked at Mia, smiling. " I'm so happy you stopped being depressed!"

Mia furrowed her brows. " Depressed? Huh?"

Nya laughed. " Okay, Mia, stop the act."

" No, really. I haven't been in my room since the merge!"

Cole blinked. " Where were you?"

Mia grinned. " With my two best friends and cat, exploring California and Oregon. It's a really large state, y'know."

Zane raised a hand. " Then who is in your room?"

" No one!" Mia insisted, confused.

" Well, something is. I've been feeding them." Kai justified, crossing his arms.

Mia gasped. " Emma! Oh no!"

Without a second thought she ran into the monestary, leaving everyone outside, confused.

" Huh?" Emma asked. " What did I do now?"

A moment later, Mia came out with a dummy in her hands.

It looked exactly like Mia.

" Emmy, next time we make these, remind me not to make them look so.... lifelike."

Lloyd pointed a finger at it. " You mean...."

Annie opened its jaws and gaged. " We need to throw this out. There's rotten food in there!"

Blackie meowed from Mia's bag. " Well that's just revolting."

The group stared in silence, processing the bizarre twist.

Kai blinked. "So...you're telling me I've been feeding this thing for years?!"

Mia nodded, holding the dummy at arm's length like it might come to life. "Yep. You were duped by a scarecrow."

Emma snorted. "Not just any scarecrow—a masterpiece of craftsmanship. I told you I was good at making lifelike stuff!"

Nya frowned, pinching the bridge of her nose. "Wait. You mean we've been tiptoeing around Mia's room, thinking she was in there being 'depressed,' and it was this dummy the whole time?"

"Pretty much!" Mia chirped.

Lloyd grimaced. "But...why does it smell like rotten food?"

Mia winced. "Uh, funny story... Blackie might have stashed some snacks in its chest cavity when we first made it. You know how he gets with hoarding food."

Blackie meowed indignantly. "I do not hoard food. I save it for emergencies!"

"Sure you do," Annie muttered, rolling her eyes.

Zane tilted his head, inspecting the dummy. "I must admit, the craftsmanship is impressive. However, the situation raises a question: why create such a dummy in the first place?"

Mia grinned sheepishly. "Well, it was Emma's idea. She thought it'd be funny to prank everyone while we were on our road trip."

Emma held up her hands defensively. "Hey, it worked! You all thought she was here the entire time!"

" Though we didn't think an interdimensional portal would wind us up 5,311.76 miles away from home." Annie muttered.

Cole groaned. "So while we were worrying about Mia being all moody and reclusive, you guys were off having the time of your lives?"

"Yup!" Mia said brightly. "We saw the Golden Gate Bridge, went hiking in the Redwood Forest, and even found this super cool haunted house in Oregon!"

Nya threw her hands in the air. "And you didn't think to tell us you were fine?"

Mia blinked. " You didn

Kai facepalmed. "Okay, but how did none of us notice this thing wasn't you? It doesn't even move! We're ninjas! We're supposed to be observant!"

Emma stifled a laugh. "Clearly, you're not observant enough."

Lloyd sighed, shaking his head. "This has to be the weirdest prank I've ever been part of."

Mia tossed the dummy onto the grass. "Well, the good news is I'm back now, and we don't have to deal with it anymore. Anyone got a trash bag?"

Annie nudged the dummy with her foot, grimacing. "Forget a trash bag—we need a biohazard team."

Blackie hopped onto Mia's shoulder, tail flicking smugly. "I warned you about leaving me out of your plans. Next time, consult me. I would've made it purrfect."

Emma grinned. "Noted. Next prank, Blackie gets a say."

Kai groaned, rubbing his temples. "Please, no more pranks. Ever."

Mia smirked. "No promises!"
