Jay turned. " Singing!"

Kai rolled his eyes. " I can see that, zappy."

Jay stedied himself out. " Thanks for the input, hot head."

" Guys!" Mia exclaimed as she ran in. " There's a polar bear in Ninjago!"

Kai and Jay stared at her, then burst into laughter. " I... I musta heard you wrong!" Kai said though laughs. " A polar bear?!"

Mia rolled her eyes. " Don't believe it? See the news!"

Mia smiled. " This." She said as she patted her head. " Now, I have to go rescue a bear. I might need backup."

Suddenly, Mia hears a honk.

She ran down to the hanger bay and put the garage, to see Annie in the van.

" Hop in!" She called sliding down the seat.

Mia grinned and held her hand up. A bag flew into it. She ran to the car, slid through the window to the driver seat, and hit the gas.

Soon they arrived at the beach, the last place the bear was sighted.

" Ok, gang, spread out " Mia ordered. " It's a long beach, so it might take a while. We sho-"

" Found it!" Emma called.

They turned, to find Emma pointing one of her brushes to the water.

They saw an ice float.

With a baby polar bear.

" Wait, where's it's mum?* Annie asked.

Mia shrugged. " Dunno. Maybe they got separated."

Emma squinted and saw how bony the cub was. " No doubt about that."

Mia turned to her SIL. " Got any ideas?*

Rose thought for a second. " Hm.... We - I mean, Mia- could make Emma a bridge with her wind to keep Emma from the water."

" Why is it always me who rescues the animals?" Emma asked excitedly, though she knew the answer. She just likes to hear them say it out loud.

" Because you're the only one of us who knows how to speak polar bear." Mia replied.

" Tha- HEY!* Emma exclaimed. " You didn't say that last time!"

Mia rolled her eyes. " It changes every few days."

Emma sighed. " Let me at it."

Mia nodded, and used her wind to levitate her friend and set her on the melting ice cap.

Emma had to move fast. " Come on, Snowy." Emma cooed. " Don't be shy!"

Emma gingerly stepped onto the melting ice, her breath misting in the chilly air. The baby polar bear, Snowy, eyed her with wary curiosity. Mia and the others watched anxiously from the shore.

Emma crouched down, speaking softly. "Come on, Snowy. It's okay. We're here to help you." She reached out a hand, trying to coax the bear cub closer.

Snowy shuffled towards Emma, the ice beneath him creaking and cracking with each hesitant step. Emma's heart raced, but she maintained her calm demeanor, hoping to gain Snowy's trust.

Suddenly, the ice began to break apart. Emma's eyes widened as she realized the precarious situation. "Mia!" she called out, her voice tinged with urgency. "The ice is breaking!"

Mia, ever quick on her feet, immediately summoned her wind powers. She created a gust that steadied the ice and reinforced it, giving Emma a safer platform. “Hold on, Emma! I’ve got you!”

Emma moved swiftly, reaching Snowy just as the ice beneath her began to crack more aggressively. She gently picked up the cub, who let out a soft whimper but didn’t resist. With Snowy secured in her arms, Emma hurried back towards the reinforced ice patch.

Mia, meanwhile, adjusted the wind to create a safer path back to the shore. "Just a little more, Emma!" she called out, her focus intense as she controlled the gusts to guide them safely.

Once Emma and Snowy were back on solid ground, Mia rushed to her friend’s side. “Good job, Emma. You got him!” she exclaimed, her voice full of relief.

Emma set Snowy down gently, the cub shivering from the cold but otherwise unharmed. “Thanks, Mia. I wasn’t sure I was going to make it,” she said, brushing the snow off her clothes.

Annie walked to the van and motioned for them to join. " Emma?"

Emma nodded, and sat on the examination table, holding the cub.

Annie carefully slid the metal disk under his belly and pressed. Snowy whimpered but Emma held him close.

Mia observed and took a picture. As it printed, she said, " this is one for the board."

Emma groaned. " But the board is where you keep the embarrassing pictures of your brother! I like that!"

Rose nodded. " We could put another board next to it " she suggested.

" Or we could do this." Mia said, grabbing tape and sticking it to the wall.

Annie moved to Snowy's eyes. " Be a good boy, Snowy." She whispered.

Annie gently opened Snowy's eyes, inspecting them with a soft touch. Snowy blinked, his small, frightened eyes adjusting to the light. Annie's expression was focused and caring as she checked for any signs of injury or distress.

Emma kept a comforting hold on Snowy, her concern evident as she softly cooed to the cub. “It’s okay, Snowy. Annie’s just making sure you’re alright.”

Mia, meanwhile, was busy with the camera. The photo of Emma and Snowy printed out with a soft whir, and Mia carefully stuck it onto a new board she had started assembling. “There we go, a new board for the good stuff,” she said with a grin, adding the photo to a space beside the one with Jay’s less-than-flattering moments.

Emma looked at the new board with a mixture of amusement and mild exasperation. “I guess that’s fair. Just as long as it doesn’t end up next to the embarrassing photos of your BIL and Jay.”

Rose chuckled and nodded. “It’s a good idea. We should celebrate the successes just as much as we keep track of the mishaps.”

Annie finished her examination and looked at Snowy with a satisfied nod. “He seems to be doing well. Just needs some warmth and a good meal. I’ll prepare some formula for him.”

“Great,” Mia said, giving Annie a thumbs-up. “Thank you for taking care of him.”

As Annie prepared the formula, Mia and Emma stood nearby, discussing their next steps. “Once Snowy’s settled, we’ll need to organize a search for his mother,” Mia said. “I’m sure she’ll be looking for him.”

Emma nodded. “And I’ll help with the search. Snowy’s in good hands now, so we can focus on reuniting him with his family.”

Annie brought over a small bottle of formula and gave it to Em, who carefully fed Snowy. He  began to drink eagerly, and the cub seemed to be warming up and feeling more comfortable, which was a relief to everyone.

Mia took one last photo of Snowy with Emma and Annie, capturing the moment of relief and care. “This one’s definitely going on the board,” she said with a smile. “It’s nice to have a reminder of the good we’re doing.”

Emma, still holding Snowy, looked at Mia and the others. “Thanks, everyone. This was quite a day, but it’s good to know we made a difference.”

Mia nodded as she started to van. " Should we go to the house?"

Annie scoffed. " The house? Girl, it's a monestary!"

Yeah, but you live under my room!"

" Because it was the only place left!*

Mia sighed. " Fair. Anyway, we should hang up posters."" Already done." Emma said as she handed the finished pictures to Annie. Rose peeked over her shoulders, and Mia turned her head for a second. " That's nice."

Emma nodded proudly as she cuddled the bear. " We need to do all it takes to find his mommy."

Mia smiled, appreciating the dedication. “Agreed. Let’s make sure everyone knows we’re looking for her. The more eyes on the lookout, the better.”

Days passed without a sign of Snowy’s mother, and the group grew increasingly anxious. Emma, determined not to give up, finally called the team together. “Alright, pack up! We’re heading out. Get the bounty ready.”

Mia looked up from her spot on the couch. “Where are we going?”

Emma’s face lit up with a resolute grin. “Antarctica.”

Mia blinked in confusion. “Uh, Emma? Polar bears are in the Arctic, not Antarctica.”

Emma’s eyes widened slightly as she realized her mistake. “Oh. Right. Then we’ll go to the Arctic!”

Annie, who had been busy organizing their gear, looked up with a knowing nod. “Already done. We’re all set for the Arctic.”

Mia’s eyes narrowed as she noticed her suitcase being packed. “Are those my clothes you packed in there? And my toothbrush? An- Oh, never mind.”

Rose, who had been quietly gathering supplies, called out, “Snacks are ready. I packed plenty for the trip.”

Emma, meanwhile, was collecting her camera and art supplies. “I’ll take care of the camera and art supplies. We’ll need to document everything and maybe do some sketches.”

Mia nodded and turned to Rose. “Great. And I’ll get the entertainment sorted. We’re going to need something to keep us occupied on the long journey.”

The team moved with purpose. Mia rummaged through her closet, selecting a few favorite books and a portable gaming device. She made sure to pack chargers and extra batteries, ensuring they would have plenty to do while traveling.

She also packed her stuffed animal, threw others, car stuff, her cat, a bunch of doll clothes ( don't ask), a stroller, another blanket, sleeping mask, fan, space heater, and a night light.

Emma carefully packed her camera, ensuring it was protected by a cushioned case. She also brought along her sketchbook and pencils, ready to capture any interesting sights they might encounter.

She also got Chico.

Because her husband and the others were also coming. I mean, what type of wives would leave their spouses at home?!

Rose busied herself with the snacks, neatly organizing a variety of items into easy-to-access bags. She made sure to include everyone’s favorites, from granola bars to dried fruit.

Annie, the logistics expert, finalized the packing list and checked everything twice. She made sure that each item was in its place and that nothing essential was left behind.

Once everything was packed and ready, they gathered in the main room. Emma checked the time and then looked at the group with a determined expression. “Alright, team. We’re heading out. Let’s find Snowy’s mom and bring her home.”

Once everything was packed and ready, the team gathered in the main room, buzzing with excitement and last-minute preparations. As they waited to depart, Emma and Morro found a quiet corner to pass the time. Emma was sketching in her notebook while Morro doodled beside her, working on a series of illustrations.

Emma kept a close eye on Morro’s drawings. “Hey, Morro, remember—no skulls this time,” she said, half-teasing, half-serious. “We don’t need any more of those creeping into our sketches.”

Morro, with a smirk, nodded but continued to sketch fervently. He glanced at Emma’s sketchbook, his eyes narrowing in concentration. “Alright, alright. No skulls. But you have to admit, my zombies are pretty creative.”

Emma raised an eyebrow as she caught sight of Morro’s latest creation—a zombie that bore an uncanny resemblance to her. She let out an exaggerated sigh. “Hey! Is that supposed to be me?”

Morro looked up, his expression a mix of pride and mischief. “What? Can’t a zombie have a bit of personality?”

Emma shook her head with a playful frown. “Just make sure it doesn’t look too much like me, okay?”

Chico, Emma’s loyal feline companion, was nestled comfortably in her lap. At the sight of Morro’s drawing, he meowed softly, as if expressing his own disapproval of the zombified Emma.

Emma chuckled and gave Chico a reassuring scratch behind the ears. “See, even Chico agrees. Let’s keep the drawings a bit less… undead, shall we?”

The group’s lively chatter and laughter filled the room as they finalized their preparations. Annie and Unagami, who were busy with their own tasks, exchanged amused glances, while Mia and Nelson were engrossed in a quiet conversation. Rose and Jake were also busy discussing their plans for the trip,  but their talk was CHEERFUL. ( looking at you MORRO)

With everything packed and their spirits high, Emma clapped her hands to gather everyone’s attention. “Alright, team. Time to hit the road. We’ve got an Arctic adventure ahead of us, and a polar bear family to reunite. Let’s go!”

Mia nodded and took to the helm. " Let's go!" She exclaimed, watching the sails open and carry them to sea.

Morro and Emma played fetch with the polar bear, while Snowflake, Chico and Blackie lounged around in the sun, purring.

Annie and Unagami were mapping the area and where they had to go, Rose and Jake were unpacking, And Nelson.... Well, he was next to Mia, keeping a steady hand on her shoulder.

" Mia, turn southwest 58 degrees." Annie called

Nelson and Mia exchanged a look. " Huh?*

" Use your reference guide!*

Nelson took a paper out and positioned it in front of them. " Uh.... That way!" Nelson said pointing.

Mia sighed. " Here goes nothing."

She turned and turned and turned the wheel, and they started to spin!

As the vessel began to spin, Emma let out a whoop of excitement, her hair flying wildly in the wind. “Woohoo! This is amazing!” she shouted, reveling in the thrill of the spinning sails and the rush of the Arctic air.

Morro, looking increasingly anxious, grabbed the railing tightly. “Water. Why is it always water?!” he called out, his eyes darting nervously between the waves and the spinning horizon.

Mia, struggling to keep control of the wheel, glanced at Morro with a wry smile. “Ask The_Sage_Ninja_Morro AKA Emma. She should know.”

Emma, who had been enjoying the moment, looked over in surprise. “What? How should I know?!” she protested, her voice barely audible over the roar of the wind.

Nelson, still at Mia’s side, pointed to the guide. “We need to adjust the course! It says we should correct our heading slightly.”

Mia nodded, trying to focus despite the spinning motion. “Alright, alright. Just give me a sec to get this under control.”

As Mia adjusted the wheel, the spinning began to slow, and the vessel gradually stabilized. The sails caught the wind more evenly, and the spinning ceased, leaving the group feeling more grounded.

Emma, catching her breath, turned to Morro with a playful grin. “See? I’ve got this under control. And besides, you’re the one who wanted to make it exciting!”

Morro rolled his eyes but couldn’t help but smirk. “Yeah, well, I didn’t expect a rollercoaster ride.”

Rose and Jake, now finished unpacking, walked over with snacks and drinks. “Here, everyone,” Rose said cheerfully, handing out granola bars and juice. “Take a break and enjoy the view.”

Jake, grinning, added, “Yeah, we’re heading into the Arctic. Might as well savor the adventure.”

As the crew settled down with their snacks, Annie and Unagami continued to review their maps, ensuring they were on the right track. Snowflake, Chico, and Blackie lounged comfortably, basking in the sun as they enjoyed the gentle sway of the boat.

Nelson leaned closer to Mia, giving her a reassuring smile. “You did great. Just a little more fine-tuning and we’ll be on course.”

Mia smiled back, feeling reassured by his presence. “Thanks, Nelson. Let’s hope the rest of the journey is a bit smoother.”

Annie turned to Unagami and exchanged a look. " Should we tell her?"

Her husband shrugged. " Later.*

Two hours into their voyage, the boat began to rock gently, a sign that they were nearing rougher waters. Annie, her brow furrowing with concern, approached the group. “There’s something you should know,” she said, glancing at Unagami for confirmation.

Unagami, who had been studying the maps intently, nodded. “Go on, Ann.”

Annie took a deep breath. “We’re approaching an area known for sudden ice floes and unpredictable currents. It’s crucial that we stay alert and prepared. These waters can be treacherous, especially for a vessel of our size.”

Emma’s eyes widened. “Ice floes? That sounds… challenging.”

Unagami stepped forward, adding, “Exactly. Ice floes can shift rapidly, and we need to navigate carefully to avoid collisions. I’ve plotted a course through the safer channels, but we’ll need to be vigilant.”

Mia, who had been listening closely, turned to face the crew. “Alright, so what’s our plan?”

Annie took out her tablet and displayed a detailed map of the area. “We’ll need to adjust our course slightly to avoid the most hazardous zones. I’ll guide us through the safest route, but everyone needs to keep an eye out for any ice floes that might drift into our path.”

Rose, ever practical, began checking the supplies and safety equipment. “We should also make sure everything is secured and ready for any sudden maneuvers.”

Jake and Morro prepared the deck for potential ice contact, ensuring there were no loose items that could get in the way.

Emma, catching the seriousness of the situation, grabbed her camera. “I’ll keep an eye on the surroundings and document any changes. Let’s stay alert and make this as smooth as possible.”

Nelson, at Mia’s side, reassured her. “We’ve got this. Just follow the course adjustments and stay sharp.”

As the boat continued through the icy waters, everyone focused on their tasks, working together to navigate the challenging environment. The rocking of the boat became more pronounced, but the team’s coordination and readiness helped them manage the situation effectively.

The icy waters were proving to be more challenging than anticipated. The crew was now in the thick of navigating through unpredictable ice floes. Emma, with her camera in hand, was shouting instructions to the crew from her vantage point.

“LEAN RIGHT!” Emma bellowed, her voice cutting through the wind. Morro, standing on the opposite side, was frantically trying to steer the boat in the direction she’d indicated. Moments later, Morro yelled out, “LEFT!” as the boat had already veered off course.

This back-and-forth communication created a chaotic atmosphere. Emma’s directions came rapidly and sometimes conflicting. “RIGHT!” she yelled again, only for Morro to cry out “LEFT!” a split second later. The crew scrambled to keep up, each direction creating a new challenge.

Every time Emma shouted, Morro tried to adjust accordingly, but by the time he reacted, Emma’s next command often contradicted the previous one. The boat rocked and swayed, and the crew had to brace themselves against the sudden shifts. Rose and Jake worked together to secure the loose items on deck, while Annie and Unagami focused on monitoring the navigation instruments.

“UNDERNEATH!” Emma suddenly yelled, startling everyone. Morro dove to his knees, and the crew ducked as low as they could. The boat scraped against a low-lying ice floe, causing it to jolt violently.

“Emma, can you give us some consistency?!” Morro shouted back, clearly exasperated. His face was flushed from the exertion and frustration.

Emma, looking determined, yelled back, “I’m trying to avoid collisions! Just follow my directions!”

The constant shifting and sudden commands made the situation increasingly difficult. Mia, at the helm, struggled to keep the boat on course while following the erratic instructions. Nelson stayed close by, offering encouragement and trying to help steady her nerves.

The crew’s movements became a chaotic dance, a sequence of urgent reactions to Emma’s commands. The boat tilted left, right, and occasionally swerved under the guidance of their frantic shouts. Ice floes seemed to loom closer with each passing second, adding to the intensity of the moment.

“RIGHT!” Emma shouted as the boat veered dangerously close to a large block of ice. Morro, already anticipating, yelled “LEFT!” but it was clear the boat was already set in its trajectory.

Every time they thought they had a moment’s respite, Emma’s next command would come, throwing them back into a frenzy. The constant change of directions, combined with the looming ice floes, made it difficult for the crew to maintain their balance and focus.

Despite the challenges, the crew’s perseverance and teamwork shone through. Mia’s concentration and quick adjustments helped them navigate through the difficult waters. Rose and Jake kept the snacks and supplies secured, and Annie and Unagami continued to monitor and adjust their course.

Emma, panting from the exertion, finally called out, “Alright, I think we’re through the worst of it!”

The boat steadied as the ice floes became less frequent, and the crew gradually relaxed, though still on high alert. Emma took a moment to catch her breath, her face flushed with the effort.

Morro, wiping sweat from his brow, looked at Emma with a mixture of relief and frustration. “Next time, let’s try to synchronize our calls a bit better.”

Emma nodded, acknowledging the feedback. “Got it. Let’s keep moving and focus on finding Snowy’s mom.”

Yeah Emma. We just survived ice flows and you BARELY HELPED

but anyway

As night fell over the icy expanse, the once lively deck of the boat was now bathed in a serene, silvery moonlight. The temperatures had dropped significantly, and the crew's breath became visible in the crisp night air. The darkening sky was dotted with stars, casting a gentle glow over the frigid landscape.

Nelson, looking up at the sky and feeling the cold bite at his cheeks, called out, “Come on, muffin. We need to go in. It’s freezing out here.”

Mia, who had been busy checking the boat's controls, sighed and called back, “Fine. Come on, Blackie!” She gestured for her sassy black cat, who trotted over with an air of indifference.

Emma, still clutching her camera, carefully picked up Chico, her fluffy companion. “Alright, Chico, let’s head inside. It’s too cold for you out here.”

Morro picked the bear up. " Come on polar bear who's nake i don't know."

Unagami, holding Snowflake close, nodded in agreement. “And I’ll bring Snowflake in, too. She’s not built for these temperatures.”

As the crew made their way into the warmth of the cabin, they were greeted by a comforting glow from the lamps and the scent of hot cocoa that Rose had thoughtfully prepared. The inside of the boat was cozy, with blankets and cushions scattered around to offer some respite from the cold.

Nelson set the temperature control to a warmer setting, and Mia quickly got to work setting up her cozy spot. She pulled out her blankets, arranged them neatly, and made sure Blackie was comfortable in his little bed next to her.

Emma settled into a corner with Chico and Snowflake, setting up her camera and sketchbook for a bit of evening work. She wanted to capture the tranquil beauty of the Arctic night, even if it meant braving the chill for just a moment.

Unagami and Annie worked on securing the boat and preparing the next day’s supplies. Annie meticulously reviewed their maps, ensuring they were well-prepared for any challenges they might face.

Rose, meanwhile, handed out mugs of hot cocoa to everyone, the steam rising gently from the warm drinks. “Here, everyone. This should help warm you up.”

Mia took her mug gratefully, sipping slowly and enjoying the warmth spreading through her. “Thanks, Rose. This is perfect.”

Nelson settled next to her, his arm around her shoulders. “Yeah, it’s a nice break from the cold out there.”

The cabin soon became a haven of warmth and camaraderie. The crew exchanged stories and plans for the next day, their laughter and chatter blending with the comforting sounds of the boat’s gentle rocking.

Emma, holding Chico close, glanced around at her friends and family. “Alright, everyone. Let’s get some rest. Tomorrow’s another big day, and we still have a polar bear mom to find.”

With nods of agreement, the crew began to settle down for the night. Mia, already feeling the comforting embrace of her blankets, murmured to Blackie, “Let’s get some sleep. Tomorrow’s going to be a big day.”

The next morning, the boat was bathed in soft, golden sunlight as the crew slowly woke up from their slumber. The gentle rocking of the boat and the soft chirping of birds outside created a serene atmosphere that made it hard for anyone to stay asleep.

Nelson was the first to stir, blinking awake and feeling a bit disoriented. As he rubbed his eyes, he noticed he was lying on top of Mia, who was herself nestled comfortably on top of a pile of blankets and pillows. The sight made him chuckle softly.

Mia, still groggy, opened her eyes and looked up at Nelson. “Good morning,” she mumbled, her voice slightly muffled by the blankets. She tried to stretch but realized she was trapped beneath the pile of sleeping bodies and warm covers.

Blackie, the sassy talking cat, was sprawled on top of the blankets, right next to Mia’s face. He yawned and stretched, his green eyes gleaming with amusement. “Well, isn’t this cozy? Didn’t realize I’d be sharing my bed with the whole crew.”

Emma, who had managed to end up wedged between Chico and Snowflake, slowly woke up. She glanced around and blinked in surprise at the tangle of bodies around her. “Looks like we’ve all turned into a big, cuddly heap,” she said with a chuckle, trying to extricate herself from the pile without disturbing the others.

Unagami and Annie, who had also ended up in the pile, were slowly stirring, their limbs intertwined with those of their friends. Annie managed to poke her head out from under a blanket and groaned. “I didn’t realize we’d become a human (and animal) jigsaw puzzle.”

Rose, who had ended up on top of Jake, finally woke up, rubbing her eyes and smiling at the sight. “Well, this is definitely one way to wake up. Good morning, everyone.”

Jake, buried beneath Rose, stretched and then let out a soft laugh. “Morning! I guess we were all just too comfortable to move.”

Mia finally managed to wriggle free from the pile, still chuckling. “Alright, everyone, time to get up. We’ve got a polar bear mother to find and a day of adventure ahead of us!”

Blackie stretched and leapt off the pile, landing gracefully on the floor. “About time! I’m ready for some breakfast and maybe a little less ‘togetherness’.”

*******
After a hearty breakfast, the crew was gathered on deck, enjoying the crisp Arctic air. The morning sun glinted off the icy waters, casting a golden hue over everything. Emma, who had been scanning the horizon, suddenly exclaimed, “What is that?”

Annie, who was busy checking the map, squinted into the distance. “I see it too,” she said, her voice filled with excitement. “It looks like land!”

Rose joined Annie at the edge of the deck, her eyes following the direction Annie was pointing. “Is it really land?” she asked, trying to make out the details.

Annie checked the map once more, her face lighting up with realization. “Yes, it is! According to the map, Snowy’s home is just around that point. We’re almost there!”

Snowflake meowed softly and nudged her owners, Annie and Unagami, as if to say, “Look, we’re close!” Her green eyes sparkled with anticipation.

Emma clapped her hands in excitement. “This is it, team! We’re so close to finding Snowy’s family. Let’s get ready to disembark and find them!”

The crew quickly prepared for their arrival. Mia and Nelson coordinated their efforts to ensure everything was packed securely, while Emma grabbed her camera and sketchbook, ready to capture the moment. Blackie, who had been lounging lazily, perked up and stretched, clearly excited for the next leg of their adventure.

Annie and Unagami were busy organizing their supplies, making sure they had everything they needed for the search. Rose and Jake checked their gear, ensuring they were ready for whatever the Arctic might throw at them.

With everything in place, Mia took the wheel of the boat, steering it toward the approaching land. The crew’s excitement was palpable, and they exchanged enthusiastic glances as the shoreline grew closer.

As they neared the shore, the team could see a rugged landscape dotted with ice formations and snow-covered terrain. Emma looked at the scene with a mix of awe and determination. “Alright, let’s find Snowy’s family and make sure they’re reunited. This has been an incredible journey, and we’re almost at the finish line!”

After thirty minutes of traversing the icy terrain, the group began to feel the chill more acutely. Mia, who had been trudging through the snow with determination, threw her hands up in frustration. “You’ve gotta be kidding me! We’ve been searching for ages and still no sign of Snowy’s family!”

Nelson, equally cold and tired, wiped his frost-covered brow and glanced around. “Maybe we’re on the wrong side of the Arctic. This place is huge, and we might not be in the right spot.”

Emma, who had been carefully examining the snowy landscape through her camera lens, suddenly exclaimed, “Nope, we’re in the right place! Look!”

She pointed her camera towards a snowy ridge that jutted out against the white expanse. The lens captured a heartwarming sight: Snowy’s mother, a large polar bear with a distinctive scar over her right eye, was emerging from behind the ridge. Her fur was a slightly darker shade than Snowy’s, and she carried an air of both strength and tenderness.

Emma’s excitement was palpable as she snapped several pictures, capturing the emotional reunion. “Look at this!” she said, showing the camera’s screen to the group. “This is it! Snowy’s mom is right there!”

Mia’s frustration melted away as she saw the images. “I can’t believe it. We actually found her!” Her voice was filled with relief and joy.

The team approached carefully, not wanting to startle the bears. Snowy’s mother, initially cautious, sniffed the air and then made eye contact with Snowy. The baby bear, who had been peeking from behind Emma, let out a soft whimper of excitement.

Annie and Unagami, who had been monitoring the situation closely, exchanged satisfied smiles. “Looks like we’ve done it,” Unagami said, nodding. “Snowy’s family is finally back together.”

Rose, who had been busy organizing the supplies, joined the group and gazed at the heartwarming scene. “This is amazing. I’m so glad we could help.”

Emma continued to take pictures, capturing the moment from various angles. Her camera flashed intermittently as she documented the reunion. “This is definitely going on the board,” she said, grinning. “It’s going to be a memory we’ll cherish forever.”

As the bears interacted, Snowy nuzzled up to his mother, and the larger bear gently licked Snowy’s face. The bond between them was evident, and it was clear that the reunion was as emotional for the bears as it was for the team.

Mia, feeling a mix of exhaustion and satisfaction, looked around at her friends. “Great job, everyone. We’ve done it. Snowy is home with his mom, and we can finally head back.”

Nelson smiled and placed a reassuring hand on Mia’s shoulder. “Yeah, we did good. Now let’s get some rest before we head back.”

Mia laughed. " Rest? It's a new continent! Come on, guys! Where's your sense of adventure?"

" Where it's supposed to be, tha k you very much." Nelson stared, and everyone laughed
