Which episode is this from?
And this?
Anyone know?
Anyway
" Ready for a night of fun?" Mia asked, barely keeping herself contained.
The other girls nodded excitedly. " Yes!* They cheered.
Rose took bubble solution out of her bag. " I got this in case we wanted to have a bubble party like last time." She said shyly.
Mia smiled. " Good, job, SIL!"
Annie raised a brow. " SIL?"
" Sister in Law.'
" And let me guess. Kai is BIL?" Emma said as she set up the sleeping bags.
Mia nodded. " Yep!"
Emma looked around. " Where is he, anyway?"
Mia rolled her eyes. " Movie."
" And your SIL?"
" You mean Nya? She's with Pix and Skylar, at the noodle house."
Annie grinned as she dumped all the snacks out of her bag. " Just means we get to have more fun!"
The girls squealed.
" Let's take a picture!" Emma said as she took her phone out. " Now, just pretend you're bored."
They obeyed, and Emma took the picture.
But then they took one of Annie and Rose having a pillow fight, Mia and Annie playing volleyball, hide and seek, silly faces, mixing ingridents and even burning the oven!"
" They all look great!" Mia sighed as she flipped through the images. " Well, all except that last one."
They all wearily looked at the burnt muffins and the oven, which had smoke coming from it.
" Good thing we had the water elemental by our side or this house would have burnt like the first time." Annie piped up.
Everyone groaned.
" Don't remind me!" Emma sighed. " Her brothers were so angry."
Mia chuckled softly. " It's fine. I hope. Anyway, this time, we do it better.
Suddenly, her phone rang. She took a deep breath, and mouthed, ' pretend you're ruining the house, okay?'
The girls nodded.
" Hello, Ja-" Mia started.
" EMMA GET THE POTS!" Annie yelled.
" THE POTS?! FORGOT POTS! GET THE WATER!" Emma yelled back.
Rose slammed cabinets. " MIA WE NEED YOU!"
" uh, Mia? Are you okay?" Jay asked, his voice uncertain.
Mia smirked, giving the girls a wink. "Oh, hey, Jay," she said casually, though she could barely hold back her laughter as the chaos unfolded around her. Emma banged on a pot, making a racket, while Rose continued slamming cabinets and pretending to look frantic.
"Mia! THE HOUSE IS GOING TO BURN!" Annie screamed, waving her hands in the air dramatically.
Jay's voice on the other end of the line was hesitant. "Uh... Mia? What's happening over there?"
Mia covered her mouth, trying not to laugh too hard. "Oh, you know, just the usual sleepover chaos. No big deal."
There was a long pause from Jay. "Do I need to call Kai? Or—"
"NO!" Mia interrupted quickly. "No need to bother him, he's enjoying his movie night. We've got it totally under control." She gestured wildly to the girls, who were now tossing pillows around like maniacs. Rose was giggling so hard she could barely keep up the act.
Jay let out a skeptical hum. "Are you sure? It sounds like something's on fire."
Mia grinned mischievously, mouthing to the girls, bigger chaos. Without missing a beat, Annie knocked over a chair, and Emma screeched, "GET THE FIRE EXTINGUISHER!"
Rose dramatically flopped to the floor, covering her face with a pillow. "I CAN'T HANDLE THE PRESSURE!"
Jay's voice was on the verge of panic. "Mia! Do I need to—"
"We're fine!" Mia reassured, quickly stifling her laughter. "Really, Jay, it's just girl stuff. You wouldn't get it." She bit her lip, trying to keep her tone as innocent as possible.
There was a deep sigh from the other end of the line. "Alright... but if I hear about a burnt house tomorrow, I'm not covering for you with Kai."
Mia finally let out the laugh she had been holding back. "Deal. Goodnight, big bro!"
As soon as she hung up, the room erupted in laughter. The girls collapsed onto the floor, clutching their stomachs, tears forming in their eyes from laughing so hard.
"That was priceless!" Emma wheezed, wiping her eyes. "He totally bought it!"
Mia grinned, still catching her breath. "He always freaks out when there's even a hint of fire."
"Well, considering who your brother is..." Rose said between giggles, "it makes sense!"
Annie raised her hand for a high-five, which Mia gladly gave. "Best prank ever."
Mia nodded, looking around at the happy, chaotic scene. "Okay, girls, now let's actually bake something we won't burn!"
Twenty minutes later, the sweet smell of success had turned into a thick, black cloud of smoke. Mia was the first to notice as the oven began to hiss and sputter. Her eyes widened as flames suddenly licked at the edges of the muffin tray.
"Uh... guys?" Mia said, her voice trembling with disbelief.
Rose, who was pouring juice, looked up and screamed, "THE OVEN'S ON FIRE!"
Panic ensued. Annie rushed to grab the oven mitts but dropped them in her panic. Emma spun in circles, shouting, "I THOUGHT WE FIXED THIS!"
Mia, who was usually composed, felt her heart race. "EMMA! GET THE WATER!" she yelled, her voice an echo of their earlier prank.
"NOT THE WATER!" Annie screamed, finally pulling the oven door open. The fire leaped out, and they all backed away as the flames grew. "Use a towel or something!"
Mia was trying to think clearly, but the chaos around her wasn't helping. "Okay, nobody panic!" she ordered, though her voice betrayed her own rising fear. "We just need—"
The fire alarm suddenly blared, making everyone jump. Mia ran for the windows, throwing them open, while Emma grabbed a towel and started smacking it at the flames. "THIS IS NOT HELPING!" she yelled, the fire only growing.
Rose grabbed a jug of juice and desperately dumped it on the flames. "WHY DID I THINK THIS WOULD WORK?!"
Mia looked at the kitchen, now filled with smoke. She knew they needed to act fast or the whole house would go up. Her mind raced, and she did the only thing she could think of—she grabbed her phone and dialed the one person who could help.
"Jay," she whispered frantically into the phone, "we actually have a fire!"
"What?!" Jay yelled. "I thought you were kidding earlier!"
"I'm not kidding anymore!" Mia shouted over the noise. "We need Kai! Get him, fast!"
In the background, Annie was running around, trying to fan the smoke away with a tray, and Emma was coughing. Rose had already retreated to a corner, hugging a pillow in sheer terror.
Suddenly, the door slammed open. Kai, still in his movie-night clothes, stood in the doorway, his face a mix of disbelief and exasperation. "What in the world..."
Without hesitation, he raised his hands, summoning a wave of fire energy. The flames in the oven were sucked away into his hands, leaving the kitchen charred but no longer burning.
The girls all froze, wide-eyed. Mia, still holding the phone, looked up at her brother. "Uh... surprise?"
Kai glared at them, his expression dark. "This is why you don't bake without supervision."
Everyone gulped, staring at the blackened remains of what had once been muffins.
Jay's voice on the other end of the phone was faint but amused. "Did you burn the house down?"
Kai ruffled Mia's hair as he took the phone from her. "Almost. But don't worry, I got it."
Mia sighed, feeling the adrenaline finally start to fade. "Thanks, Kai."
Kai gave her a small smile. "Next time, maybe don't start a fire to prank your brother, huh?" He winked, and Mia couldn't help but laugh, even though her heart was still racing.
As the girls began to clean up the mess, Mia whispered, "Well, that was one way to end a sleepover."
" It's not over!" Emma said as she threw Mia a pillow. " Come on, let's make a pillow fort!"
Ten minutes later, amidst the laughing and giggling of building their epic pillow fort, there was a strange, squelching noise from the kitchen.
Mia frowned, pausing mid-construction. "Did anyone hear that?"
Emma tossed another pillow into the growing fort. "Hear what?"
A second later, Rose let out a yelp. "Uh...guys?"
They all turned to see Rose standing ankle-deep in water. The kitchen floor was quickly becoming a small lake.
Mia's eyes widened in horror as the water began creeping towards them, soaking the base of their masterpiece. "WHAT?!"
Annie's jaw dropped. "How did we flood the house making a pillow fort?!"
Emma, standing with her mouth agape, pointed to the sink, which was overflowing. Water gushed out like a fountain. "I think we left the tap on when we tried to clean the dishes after the fire!"
Mia threw her hands in the air, her voice filled with disbelief. "Of course! First, we almost burn the house down, and now we're drowning it!"
Rose frantically grabbed a stack of towels. "Okay, okay! We just need to stop the water, right?"
Emma, knee-deep in water by now, was trying to figure out how to turn off the tap. "I think I broke the faucet when I twisted it too hard!"
Mia ran her fingers through her hair, groaning. "This can't be happening."
Annie, trying to be the voice of reason, suggested, "Let's just—uh—call someone? Maybe Jay or Kai? Again?"
Mia looked up at the ceiling, as though asking the universe why it hated her. "Jay's going to lose his mind..."
Just as Mia was about to pull out her phone again, the front door burst open. Kai stood in the doorway, drenched from the knees down, his expression a mixture of utter disbelief and resignation.
"You've got to be kidding me..." Kai muttered, surveying the water-filled living room.
Mia's face flushed red with embarrassment. "It was an accident! We were just making a pillow fort!"
Kai let out a long, exasperated sigh. "How do you go from a pillow fort to flooding the entire house?"
Before anyone could answer, Jay's voice called out from behind Kai. "Mia? What did you do now?" He stepped inside and immediately splashed into the growing puddle. His eyes widened. "Oh no... what happened here?"
Mia laughed nervously. "Uh...we're never having a sleepover here again."
Kai crossed his arms, shaking his head. "You think?"
As the water continued to flood the room, Jay and Kai got to work shutting off the water, but not before both brothers gave Mia a look that clearly said: You're cleaning this up.
Thirty minutes later, they were done cleaning the mess.
" Thank goodness those two are gone!" Mia sighed as she dropped the mop.
Rose nodded. " Honest. Now, are you ready for more fun?"
" Like?" Annie asked breathlessly.
Emma grinned as she looked up. " Swings and bubbles!"
" I call dibs!" Emma yelled as she ran to the swing and hopped on.
" Gotta do something first!" Mia called as she put her communicator on the ground.
Annie noticed. " Aren't we gonna need it?"
Mia shook her head. " I don't think so. I mean, why would we need them?"
Annie shrugged and started pushing her friend. " So, Mia," Annie began. " I was thinking of installing a new weapon to make the monestary defense stronger!"
Mia nodded thoughtfully. " Good point, but you're gonna need to talk to Pix."
" Uh, guys....?" Rose piped up.
" Good point." Annie sighed
" Mia, Annie....?"
" I don't thi-"
" GUYS!" Rose yelled.
Both girls turned to her. " Yeah?"
Rose pointed to the swing, which was..... FLYING AWAY!
" but..." Annie said as she turned to her arms, which were pushing AIR!
" Okay, okay, stay calm..." Mia said, but then took off running.
Suddenly, there was a crunch. Mia turned to Annie, who held up the remainder of her communicator.
" No prob! We can ca-" Mia took her phone out and realized THERE WAS NO INTERNET!
" uh... Anyone getting a signal?"
Annie and rose checked.
" Nope."
" I HAVE SOME!" Emma yelled.
Mia grinned. " GOOD! CONTACT MY BROTHER!"
Emma paused. " ONE QUESTION. WHAT'S HIS OHONE NUMBER?"
Mia groaned. " I don't know!"
Annie had an idea. " We should call them on the hotline."
She turned to Emma. " FIND THEIR NUMBER ON THE INTERNET!"
" WHATS THE INTERNET?!"
Mia groaned.
" Uh .... Should we call fire fighters?" Rose suggested.
" What's a... Fire fighter?" Mia asked.
Annie groaned. " People who wear black... And red hats.... And drive trucks.... And save people from fire?"
" Kai's the elemental master of fire. He can suck it!"
Then she sighed. " Too bad they're on their way to Shintato."
Annie came up with an idea. " Use your wind!" She exclaimed.
Mia nodded and extended her arms, then pulled them back.
Emma just went farther.
" NIT HELPING!" Emma yelled.
Mia turned to Annie. " Can you....?"
" Shockwave is just gonna push her farther away."
Mia sighed. " I can try to bring her back."
She just made Emma drift farther away. " HEY, I CAN SEE THE MOON!"
Annie looked around in panic.
" Mia! Use your wind to get rocks or something to make a staircase!"
" I'm not the elemental master of Earth!"
Annie groaned. " We're doomed."
Then she spotted a lasso. " Rose!" She yelled, throwing the rope to her.
Rose nodded and twirled it. " Let's hope I can get this right." She muttered.
She threw the rope, and it caught the swing!
But Rose started to fly away. " Uh, guys....?"
Annie and Mia helped her.
Finally, when Emma was on the ground, she laughed nervously. " Hastag, ' I was blown away by our intelligence." She muttered as she posted the picture online.
Mia picked the communicator with a weary expression. " Annie, please tell me you can fix this."
Annie picked up the communicator pieces, examining them closely. "I mean... I could try, but this thing is toast." She sighed, turning the pieces over in her hands. "We might need Pix for this."
Mia groaned. "Great. How am I supposed to explain this one to Kai?"
"Just tell him it flew away along with the swing!" Emma offered helpfully, still catching her breath from her wild ride.
Rose grinned, wiping some dust off her clothes. "We almost turned a sleepover into a disaster, but hey—at least it was fun."
Mia threw her hands up. "Fun? Emma almost ended up orbiting the moon, and now our communicator is in pieces!"
Annie raised an eyebrow. "We should be focusing on the real issue here, Mia."
Mia blinked. "What? The fact that I'm about to get grounded for a century?"
"No." Annie crossed her arms, grinning. "That we're out of snacks."
The girls all exchanged glances before bursting into laughter.
Emma, still giggling, pulled out her phone again. "Okay, okay. I think I can still order a pizza before my signal cuts out."
Mia sighed in relief. "At least something is going right tonight."
Just as Emma was about to press 'order,' the phone beeped, and the screen turned black.
Emma gasped. "No! My phone just died!"
Mia stared up at the sky, hands on her hips. "Really? I swear the universe is messing with us."
Annie chuckled and patted Mia on the back. "Don't worry. If we survived a fire, a flood, and an Emma-launch, we can survive no snacks. We're ninja. We'll figure something out."
Rose smirked, tossing a blanket over their half-built pillow fort. "Looks like it's back to basics, huh? We'll just have to make do with what we have."
They all gathered around the fort, sitting cross-legged, looking around at the mess they'd caused. Despite the chaos, the room felt warm with the bonds of their friendship.
Mia flopped back onto a pillow, staring at the ceiling. "You know... I'll take this crazy sleepover over any boring day. But next time? I'm letting Kai or Jay handle the snacks."
Ten minutes later, after rebuilding their pillow fort and exhausting their stash of snacks, the girls grew restless. Mia stretched and glanced at the others. "Alright, this is getting a little too quiet. What do you say we head outside for some fresh air?"
Emma nodded enthusiastically, her energy levels never seeming to wane. "Yeah! Let's see if we can find the moon that I almost reached earlier!"
Rose, always a little hesitant, looked at the door and then at Mia. "You sure that's a good idea? It's kinda late..."
Mia shrugged. "What could go wrong? We've already survived everything else tonight. Besides, it's nice out!"
The girls put on their shoes and quietly snuck out of the house. As they stepped outside, the night air was crisp and cool. The moon was high, casting eerie silver shadows over the yard. They walked down the path leading to the edge of the woods behind Mia's house, laughing and joking about the chaos of the sleepover.
"Do you think Kai would believe us if we told him about the flying swing?" Emma asked, nudging Mia.
Mia smirked. "He'd just roll his eyes and blame me for everything."
Annie chuckled. "Probably."
Suddenly, a rustling sound echoed from the woods. The girls froze mid-step, eyes wide as they turned toward the sound.
"What was that?" Rose whispered, her voice trembling.
"I... don't know," Mia said slowly, stepping closer to the others.
Another rustle. Then a low growl.
Emma's eyes widened, and she backed up slightly. "Uh... guys?"
Out from the shadows, a massive figure emerged. Its glowing yellow eyes pierced the darkness, and its fur glistened under the moonlight. Standing on two legs, towering over them, was a werewolf. Its snout twitched as it sniffed the air, lips curling back to reveal sharp fangs.
The girls screamed in unison, stumbling backward.
"IS THAT A REAL WEREWOLF?!" Annie shrieked, her eyes nearly popping out of her head.
"It can't be real! Werewolves don't exist!" Rose stammered, but her voice lacked any confidence.
The werewolf growled again, stepping closer, its claws scraping the ground with every movement. The girls scrambled to their feet, hearts racing in panic.
"Okay, okay, this is not happening!" Mia yelled, eyes darting around. "We need to get back inside, now!"
The werewolf howled, its eerie cry echoing through the night. The girls bolted toward the house, feet pounding against the ground. The werewolf lunged forward, and Mia could feel its presence getting closer with every step.
"MIA, RUN FASTER!" Emma screamed, practically dragging Rose with her.
"I'M TRYING!" Mia yelled back, glancing over her shoulder to see the werewolf closing in.
They reached the door just in time, Mia slamming it shut behind them. They stood there, panting, leaning against the door.
"I-I'm not crazy, right?" Annie asked between gasps. "We just saw a real werewolf?"
"Yup," Mia said breathlessly, nodding. "That... was real."
The werewolf let out another chilling howl from outside, and the girls jumped.
"What do we do now?" Rose asked, her voice shaking.
Mia swallowed hard. "I... I don't know. But I think we need a new plan. Fast."
As they huddled together, the sounds of the werewolf pacing outside sent chills down their spines. Whatever came next, one thing was for sure: this sleepover had taken a turn none of them had ever expected.
The girls, still shaken from their encounter with the werewolf, decided they needed answers. Mia was the first to speak up. "We need to figure out what that thing is and how to stop it. There's only one place with that kind of information... the library."
Emma blinked, looking confused. "What's a library?"
The rest of the girls groaned in unison. Mia threw her hands up dramatically. "Seriously, Emma? It's the place with books!"
"Oh! Right, right," Emma said, nodding like she totally knew. "Why didn't you just say 'the place with books'? That would've made more sense."
Mia pinched the bridge of her nose. "Emma, it's literally common knowledge."
Annie shook her head, stifling a laugh. "Let's just get moving before the werewolf gets any closer."
The girls hurried through the dark streets, the sound of distant howling keeping them on edge. When they finally reached the small, old library in town, it was eerily quiet. They pushed open the heavy doors, and the musty scent of ancient books greeted them.
Rows and rows of bookshelves stretched out before them. Dusty, old tomes and modern novels sat side by side, the moonlight filtering through the tall windows giving the room an almost magical glow.
Mia led the group, her eyes scanning the shelves. "Okay, we need to find something about werewolves. Maybe there's a section on supernatural creatures."
Annie pointed to a nearby sign. "That way. Non-fiction."
"Why do we even have to learn about this stuff in books? Can't we just Google it or something?" Emma whispered, her voice echoing in the stillness.
Mia shot her a look. "Because some of us actually know what a library is. And some things aren't on the internet."
"Fine, fine. Books it is," Emma muttered, trailing behind them.
They combed through the shelves for what felt like hours, flipping through pages of old, forgotten books. Finally, Rose gasped as she pulled out a thick, leather-bound volume. "Guys! I think I found something."
The others rushed over. The title of the book was written in faded gold letters: The Creatures of the Night.
Mia grinned. "Good job, Rose! Let's see if it's got anything on werewolves."
They flipped through the brittle pages, scanning for information. Finally, they found a chapter on werewolves. The illustration on the page looked almost identical to the creature they had seen. Mia read aloud:
"Werewolves are supernatural beings who transform under the full moon. They are highly dangerous and can only be stopped by... Oh, great. Silver weapons. Because that's something we definitely have just lying around."
"Silver?" Annie asked, frowning. "Where are we supposed to get silver?"
"Beats me," Mia said, tossing the book onto the table with a sigh. " The boys have all our weapons."
Rose leaned over the book, continuing to read. "There's also something about repelling them with wolfsbane."
Mia raised an eyebrow. "Wolfsbane? We're not exactly gardeners, either."
Emma, who had been wandering around the library, suddenly called out, "Hey! I found something!"
They rushed over to find Emma holding... a romance novel.
"Emma!" Mia groaned. "That's not going to help us with a werewolf!"
"How do you know? Maybe love is the answer!" Emma said with a grin, flipping the book open dramatically.
Annie facepalmed, and Rose chuckled softly.
Mia shook her head, trying not to laugh. "We're doomed."
The girls gathered around the makeshift scarecrow they'd built from whatever materials they could find in the library's basement. Old clothes, a broomstick, and some random pieces of fabric were all they had managed to pull together. It looked more ridiculous than intimidating.
Emma stood with her arms crossed, inspecting the scarecrow with a skeptical look. "This isn't gonna work," she said flatly.
Mia, adjusting the hat on the scarecrow, sighed heavily. "Thanks for the words of encouragement, Emma."
Emma shrugged. "But I wasn't being optimistic."
Mia groaned loudly, rubbing her forehead in frustration. "Then could you at least pretend to be? We're fighting a werewolf here!"
Annie, standing nearby with her hands on her hips, raised an eyebrow. "Yeah, Emma, unless you've got a better plan, maybe try helping instead of criticizing?"
Rose, holding some extra fabric, chimed in softly, "I don't know, guys. Maybe if we make it look scarier... like, more werewolf-y?"
Mia looked at the scarecrow, then back at Rose. "How do you make something look more 'werewolf-y' with a broomstick and some old clothes?"
Rose thought for a moment. "Maybe we could draw fangs on it? Or add claws?"
Annie started digging through a nearby supply closet. "Claws... claws... Ah!" She pulled out some metal coat hangers, bending them into the shape of long, jagged claws. "How about these?"
Mia gave a half-smile. "Now we're talking."
As they worked on their "upgraded" scarecrow, Emma walked around, arms still crossed. "You know, even if we make it look terrifying, what's it supposed to do? Scare the werewolf? Like, *boo*, and it just runs away?"
Mia shot her an exasperated look. "It's called a *scare*-crow for a reason. Maybe if it looks enough like a threat, the werewolf will stay away!"
Emma raised an eyebrow. "A threat? This thing looks like it's one gust of wind away from falling apart."
Mia took a deep breath and put her hands on her hips. "Look, it's not perfect, but it's better than nothing! Unless you have some secret stash of silver weapons hidden somewhere?"
Emma bit her lip, clearly not able to argue that point. "Okay, okay. We'll give it a shot."
After finishing up the scarecrow, they propped it up near the front door of the library, facing the direction the werewolf had come from earlier. It looked more like a failed arts-and-crafts project than an actual deterrent, but they didn't have any better options.
As they stood there, admiring—or rather, tolerating—their creation, Emma finally broke the silence. "So, we just wait?"
Mia nodded, trying to be confident. "Yeah. We wait."
Annie leaned closer to Mia. "And if this doesn't work?"
Mia sighed. "Then we run. Fast."
The scarecrow had barely lasted a minute before the werewolf barreled through it like it was made of paper. Pieces of fabric and broomstick scattered everywhere, and the girls were left standing frozen in shock for a split second.
"WHY DOES NOTHING WORK WITH US?!" Emma screamed, grabbing Annie by the arm and bolting toward the library exit.
"ASK THE WORLD!" Rose yelled back as she followed them, running as fast as her legs could carry her.
Mia was the last to move, her instincts kicking in just in time as she darted after the others. "I thought scarecrows were supposed to work on anything!" she muttered, breathless, trying to keep up with the frantic pace.
The werewolf let out a guttural growl and started after them, its eyes glowing in the dim light. The girls sprinted down the aisles of the library, dodging chairs, tables, and bookshelves, the sound of its claws scraping against the floor behind them.
Annie glanced over her shoulder. "It's getting closer! What now?"
"Library plan B!" Mia yelled.
"WHAT'S PLAN B?!" Emma shrieked.
"NO IDEA! I JUST MADE IT UP!" Mia confessed, weaving between the rows of books.
They reached a stairwell, and without hesitation, Mia gestured for the others to follow. "Upstairs, come on!"
They thundered up the stairs, the sound of the werewolf's snarls growing louder by the second. Once they reached the top, they slammed the door behind them, trying to catch their breath.
Rose was panting heavily, her back against the door. "Okay... now what?"
Mia glanced around the empty hallway, then down at the useless communicator still in her hand. "Now, we hope that werewolves can't climb stairs."
There was a loud crash from below, followed by the sound of splintering wood.
Annie groaned. "Of course they can climb stairs."
Mia scanned the hallway desperately. "What can we do? The attic ain't gonna help us," she said, her voice tinged with frustration.
Emma, still catching her breath, suggested, "We need something to defend ourselves with. Something big."
Rose spotted a large bookcase nearby. "How about we barricade the door with that?"
The girls quickly moved to the bookcase, pushing it against the door as the sounds of the werewolf grew louder. The door shook with each thud, but the bookcase held firm.
Annie looked around and spotted a row of old, dusty artifacts and ancient weaponry displayed in glass cases. "What about those? We might find something useful."
They hurried over, smashing through the glass cases to retrieve what they could. Emma grabbed a large, ornate sword, while Mia picked up a hefty-looking staff. Rose and Annie each grabbed a smaller, but still formidable, object.
"We've got to make a plan," Mia said, trying to steady her nerves. "We need to lure it away from us, then find a way to get out of here."
Just then, the door began to creak open despite their efforts. The werewolf's growls were louder than ever.
Emma, gripping the sword tightly, said, "We need to act fast. I'll create a diversion. The rest of you get ready to fight or run."
Mia nodded, readying her staff. "Alright. On three, Emma, you make noise and draw it in. The rest of us will be ready."
Emma took a deep breath and, with a determined look, walked to the edge of the hallway where the werewolf would see her. She began making loud, clanging noises with the sword against the nearby walls.
The werewolf's growls intensified as it charged towards the sound. Mia, Annie, and Rose braced themselves, preparing for whatever came next.
As the werewolf turned the corner and saw Emma, it lunged towards her, and she ran, leading it down the hall away from the others. Mia, Annie, and Rose used the opportunity to slip through a side door and make their way to an emergency exit.
The corridor was chaotic as the werewolf chased Emma, but the girls managed to reach the exit, flinging it open and stumbling out into the night.
Panting and exhausted, they looked back at the library, now safely behind them. Mia, shaking with relief, said, "We did it. We actually got out."
"That was way too close," Annie said, leaning against the wall.
Emma caught up to them, still holding the sword. "Next time, let's just stick to a sleepover and leave the monsters out of it."
Finally, they trudged back to the living room and collapsed on the floor.
" That.... Was.... Intense...." Mia wheezed, trying to catch her breath.
Emma nodded. " Agreed."
" Let's never do that again." Annie suggested.
They all agreed.
But before they could get too comfortable, the door slammed open, and the boys thundered in.
" WHAT IS THIS?!" Lloyd yelled, his phone shaking in his hands.
The girls squinted at the image, then gasped.
It was the Emma to the moon picture.
" Uh.... Um.... Ermm...." Rose stumbled.
" RUUUUUUUUUUUUN!" Mia yelled, and the girls took off running, the boys following close behind.
Encore
As soon as Mia yelled, "RUUUUUUUUUUUUN!" the girls bolted out of the living room, laughing nervously as they dashed down the hall. Behind them, the boys stormed after them, their faces a mix of frustration and disbelief.
Lloyd was leading the charge, waving his phone in the air. "Do you guys realize how much trouble you're in? Posting this online?! What were you thinking?!"
Cole, still catching his breath, muttered, "And what's with the fire... AGAIN? You girls are a walking disaster!"
Kai, on the other hand, was gritting his teeth, trying to keep his cool. "This is the third time this month you've dragged us into some mess!"
Jay was stumbling along, torn between being mad and finding it all hilarious. "You literally flew to the moon, Emma?!"
Zane, as calm as ever, simply said, "This situation could have been avoided with proper safety precautions."
The girls, still sprinting, tried to come up with excuses as they raced through the hallways.
Mia shouted back over her shoulder, "It wasn't our fault! The swing just... took off!"
"And we didn't mean to set the kitchen on fire!" Rose added.
"We thought we could handle it!" Annie huffed, clearly trying to catch her breath.
Emma, still laughing between breaths, yelled, "And the moon was nice!"
The boys were gaining on them, with Lloyd and Kai looking ready to burst.
"You're grounded for life, Mia!" Kai barked, his face red with frustration. "And you burned the kitchen again!"
Mia shot him a look, still running. "I said I was sorry!"
As they rounded a corner, the girls dashed into the backyard, looking for a place to hide, but the boys were right on their heels. They quickly scrambled behind a large tree, trying to keep quiet as the boys approached, their footsteps heavy.
Cole spotted them first. "There they are!"
"Scatter!" Mia yelled.
But before they could run off in different directions, Jay grabbed Mia by the arm, and Kai caught Emma mid-sprint.
"You guys are in so much trouble," Lloyd said, panting. "We can't keep bailing you out of these messes!"
Kai, still holding onto Emma, sighed. "You owe us for cleaning up after your disasters. Again."
Zane, who had finally caught up, looked at the girls with a disapproving yet understanding gaze. "Perhaps next time, we could try a less dangerous form of fun?"
Jay, still amused, gave Mia a playful nudge. "At least you didn't actually get launched into space, right?"
Mia groaned. "It wasn't that bad..."
The boys all exchanged exasperated glances before Kai muttered, "Let's just go inside. You guys are cleaning the kitchen."
The girls, defeated but still giggling quietly, followed the boys back into the house.
As they all headed inside, Cole leaned toward Lloyd and said, "Honestly, I'm just glad we caught them before they set anything else on fire."
Lloyd sighed. "Yeah, me too."
But then they turned, to find the girls weren't following.
Then they heard yells, and saw the girl flying off the space.
