Rontu looked around. " Last I remember, there was one more of you. A girl clad in pink."

Egalt nodded. " You said her name was..... Lea. No, no. Mia. Mia Walker. The daughter of the late Daisy Walker and Raymond Walker."

Kai sighed and rubbed his temples. " Yeah, about her...... she's in the room."

Egalt cocked his head. " Really? Why?"

Nya walked to Kai and put an arm on him. " She wants to find her brother. The blue one of us. Jay. My Yang. Kai and Mia's brother. And our lightning wielder."

" But that one wields lightning." He pointed to Pika, who was trying to spin with Char, Bulby and Squirtle.

Lloyd shook his head. " That's one of her pets."

" And the black one?"

" The black cat's with her."

" Oh." Egalt remained silent for a second. " SHould she not come out once in a while to practice her elemental powers?"

Kai shrugged. " We try to reason with her."

" Pika!"

She won't listen to us either!

" Chaaaaaaaaaaaaar!"

" Bulba."

I find it quite frustrating

Everyone stared at the animals, confused.

" Pika. Pika Pi."

Right. I forgot. They can't understand us.

" Uh, guys? Could you try to reason with her?" Kai asked as he crouched to their level.

" Pika piii!" Pikachu said in frustration.

I just said, we've been trying!!!!!

" He looks angry." Egalt observed.

Char gave him a deadpan look. " Char. Char."

Say that one more time and I'll burn you to the bone!

" Could you four just go?!" Nya exclaimed.

The animals groaned but obeyed, walking into the large monastery and walking to the guest room Mia was given.

When they went in, they found a bunch of scrolls lying around.

And Blackie reading two with a magnifying glass. " Where is it....." He muttered.

Mia was nowhere to be seen.

" Pika?"

Where is she?

Blackie looked up. " In the pile of scrolls."

" Uh..... Char."

There are scroll piles everywhere.

Blackie sighed. " Check the one I'm sitting on."

Squirtle shrugged. " Squirtle."

It's worth a try.

So, one by one, they threw scrolls behind them and finally saw Mia's hair.

" Pi- Ka- chuuuuuuuuuuu!"

Mia peeked out. " Hi, Pika. You wanna help me with my scrolls?"

Pikachu gave her a look. " Pika. Pi."

Egalt is asking for you to go train and whatnot

" Let him say whatever he wants. He doesn't have a brother he needs to find."

" Pika pi!"

" Char!"

" Bulba!"

Come on, Mia!

You can do it!

Or we'll drag you out.

Mia sighed. " Fiiiine. Make me a difficult obstacle course. Make it really difficult." She said, " Then come in when it's ready."

" Squirtle!"

Okay!

They ran out, and Mia settled back into her pile. " Let's hope it takes 'em a while."

" That's like asking the tide to stop moving." Blackie said as he looked up.

Mia shrugged. " Never hurt to ask."

Thirty minute later, Pikachu and Char, each taking one arm, dragged Mia outside.

" Okay, okay, le-" She stopped when she saw the course.

It was humongous!

" Wow!" She exclaimed as she ran to it. " It's huge! Jay would have loved it......."

She sighed sadly and kicked the dirt. " Jay...... I should be in there, not here!"

" Mia, look. We know you love Jay, but you need to take a break." Kai stated as he appeared from the shadows. " It's not healthy for you."

Mia rolled her eyes. " You always say that."

" Because it's true!"

" Pika pi!"

You should listen to him.

Mia sighed. " Bulba, start the watch."

" Bulba!"

Mia and Pikachu got to the starting. " Ready?" She asked, in starting position.

" BEgin!" Egalt bellowed, and Mia spinjitzued away.

She jumped up, spinjitzued, and kicked two red lanterns with her foot. Pikachu twirled around her, and Mia giggled. " Pikachu!" She exclaimed. * Don't distract me!"

" Pika-tchu."

Mia shook her head and looked ahead.

She dodged two punching bags and slid under a formation of rocks.

Then a scaly tail came in and almost made her trip.

" Oops " Egalt said flatly

Mia rolled her eyes. If the old dragon was going to do this, he could.

He did it three other times, each of which caught her off guard.

" You've become weak." Egalt taunted. " You need to train more."

That was it. Mia couldn't take it any longer.

She grabbed his tail, spun the large dragon, and made him crash into the building

" Mia!" Nya yelled. " What did you just do?!*

" What he asked for me to do " Mia brushed her hands. " Resume."

She jumped up, kicked back, whipped around, and spun.

" Char, Pika, Squirtle, on, now!* She yelled.

The three Pokemon understood and hopped on.

Mia jumped, spinjitzued, and broke out into a pink dragon, soaring through the sky with the Pokemon clinging on.

" PIKACHUUUUUUU!"

" CHAAAAAR!"

" SQUIRTLE!"

Mia landed on both her feet and one hand. She stood up, and saw the others looking at her.

" What?"

Egalt, who has stood up, walked over to her. " Who taught you?"

Mia looked at him. " Someone." she said vaguely.

" Pika piiiii!" Pikachu said as he spun around And around.

" Bulbasaur?"

Can I have a go?

Mia nodded, and Bulbasaur went on. Mia spinjitzued, jumped, spinjitzued, and flew.

The others watched in astonishment as Mia flew gracefully in the sky.

" Wow.* Lloyd muttered. " That's incredible!"

Cole nodded. " Yeah. Who knew she could do that!"

Zane analyzed her. " She seems to be having fun."

Mia landed again, and Blackie and Bulbasaur climbed off.

Blackie's fur was all messed up, but he didn't care.

" That was amazing!" He exclaimed. " I haven't seen you do that for a long time!"

Mia giggled. " Oh Blackie."

Rontu walked up to her, the purple dragon confused. " When did you learn?*

" Few years ago.*

" Where?"

Mia froze. She looked at Blackie. " We can't tell, remember?"

Mia sighed. " Yeah. Sorry."

Mia sighed, feeling the weight of Rontu's question lingering in the air. She glanced at Blackie, who was now stretching and yawning, clearly in need of a nap. "Go on, Blackie. I'll join you in a few minutes."

"Meow," Blackie replied, slowly padding toward the guest room. "I need a nap."

As he disappeared inside, Egalt crossed his arms, still puzzled. "So, you won't tell me where you learned those skills?"

Mia shrugged, trying to keep her expression light. "I can't. I need to feed my pets. You know how they get when they're hungry."

Rontu tilted her head. "But—"

Mia cut her off. "Can't. It’s complicated." She gave a small, playful grin, trying to deflect their curiosity.

Pikachu, ever the curious one, piped up. "Pika Pika?"

You're gonna go back to the scrolls, aren't you?

Mia chuckled, knowing exactly what he meant. " Maybe "

"Pi!" Pikachu nodded vigorously, darting back towards the guest room, followed closely by Squirtle and Charmander, who exchanged glances as if to say, Here we go again.

Bulbasaur, on the other hand, stood protectively in front of Mia, puffing out his chest. "Bulba!"

Mia laughed, reaching down to scratch behind Bulbasaur's ears. "Oh, Bulby. You're so cute when you're being noble, you know that?"

His eyes sparkled with pride, but then he seemed to deflate a bit, realizing he couldn't stop her from returning to the scrolls. "Bulba..."

Rontu, still curious, took a step closer. "You really should join us in training, Mia. You have potential. More than you realize."

Mia waved her hand dismissively. "Yeah, but I need to master my own skills first. Besides, I have a brother to find."

"Your brother?" Egalt asked, raising an eyebrow. "Does he have skills like yours?"

Mia nodded, a hint of sadness creeping into her smile. "He’s better than me. He’s always been the one who protects us."

"Then train. Get better," Rontu encouraged, her purple scales shimmering in the sunlight. "Find him."

Mia's heart sank slightly at the reminder. "I will. Just give me some time."

Egalt, sensing her reluctance, softened his tone. "No one’s rushing you, but don't forget that training helps you grow stronger, not just for yourself but for those you care about."

Mia nodded, feeling the weight of his words. "I know. I promise I’ll train more."

"Good," Rontu said. "Then let’s see that obstacle course again. After you feed your pets, of course."

Mia smirked. "Alright, you’ve convinced me. I’ll be back after I check on them."

As she turned to follow her Pokémon back into the guest room, Pikachu glanced back at her. "Pika!"

Mia waved her hand, already feeling more motivated. "You four better not make a mess of the scrolls while I'm gone!"
