ACNH Adventures

" Uh, Morro?"

" Yeah?"

" When I asked you to get milk, I meant the ACTUAL WAY."

" But this IS the proper way."

Emma sighed as she slapped her head. " Morro, I meant go to the market, not get an ACTUAL COW!"

" Oh." He turned to the cow, who was on a leash.

" Well, here you go." Morro handed the poor girl the leash, and the cow mooed.

" Wha... what am I supposed to do with it?!"

" Dunno. You're the human."

Emma groaned and looked at the cow, who was blinking and looking at her like, Ask the ghost.

Emma let out a sour groan. " Come on, cow." She muttered. " Let's take you back to the farm."

" WHAT?!" Morro yelled from inside the house.

BEfore Emma could reply, there was a blinding light from inside the house. The couple had to shield their eyes.

" What was that?!" Morro asked, pushing his head back in place.

Emma rolled her eyes. " Mia, doing some experiments."

" that did not look safe, though."

Emma sighed and grabbed Morro's arm and flew to Mia's room. ( Being a ghost had its perks.)

( He just needed to remember not to go through walls or Emma would end up with a big fat bruise on her head.)

When they arrived at Mia's room, she was nowhere to be seen.

ON her bed though, was her nintendo. Emma picked it up.

Her avatar was just standing there.

" Eh. Must have gone to the bathroom." She said, placing the device back on the bed.

Little did she know, when Emma left, Morro stayed and became invisible.

Mia's avatar sighed. " Oh thank goodness. If Emma saw she would have been screaming."

" Screaming because of what?" Morro asked as he un- camouflaged.

Mia's avatar looked around. " Who said that?"

" Me."

The avatar saw Morro and sighed. " Morro, listen to me. I need you to get Nelson. Tell him it's happened."

" What happened?" Nelson asked as he entered.

Morro pointed to the nintendo. Nelson picked it up.

" How?"

The avatar shrugged. " Dunno."

Nelson shook his head fondly. " There was a portal, and-"

" I couldn't resist." Mia sighed. " Yes, Nelson. Yes."

Nelson looked at the Nintendo with weary. " How do we take you out?"

Mia shrugged.

Morro and Nelson stood in the room, the Nintendo in Nelson's hands. The avatar of Mia on the screen looked back at them, a mix of frustration and anxiety etched on its pixelated face.

"Alright," Nelson said, looking at the Nintendo's screen, "We need to figure out how to get you out of this."

Morro floated beside Nelson, his ghostly presence shimmering with curiosity. "So, what exactly happened? How did she end up in the game?"

Mia's avatar sighed. "I was experimenting with a new feature, and things... didn't go as planned. I'm kind of stuck here now."

Nelson raised an eyebrow. "A new feature? You're not making any sense."

The avatar nodded, its pixelated features showing a hint of distress. "Yeah, I was testing a portal device I created. It was supposed to just be a virtual space, but I think it connected to an actual dimension... or something."

Morro floated around, looking intrigued. "So, you're saying Mia got herself trapped in some kind of virtual dimension?"

Mia's avatar nodded solemnly. "Exactly. Now, I need you two to figure out how to get me out of here."

Nelson looked at the screen thoughtfully. "Alright. Let's start by figuring out what kind of portal she used. If we understand that, we might be able to reverse the process."

Emma, who had returned from her detour with the cow, looked into the room with confusion. "What's going on? Why are you guys staring at the Nintendo?"

Nelson glanced up. "Oh, Emma, just in time. Mia's stuck in the game, and we need to figure out how to get her out."

Emma's eyes widened. "You've got to be kidding me. How did she manage that?"

Morro chimed in, "It's a long story. Let's just say she got a bit too experimental."

Emma shook her head, stepping closer. "Alright. Let's focus on solving this. We need to find out what Mia's portal device was supposed to do."

"Wait, what's that?" Nelson asked, pointing at a small blinking light on the Nintendo.

Morro floated closer to it. "That might be the key. It looks like it's signaling something."

Emma picked up the Nintendo again and examined the screen. "Maybe it's a clue on how to get Mia out."

The avatar of Mia, noticing their attention, spoke up. "If you find the control panel, you might be able to access the main program. There should be an option to exit or reverse the portal."

"Great!" Nelson said. "Let's find that control panel."

They all huddled around the Nintendo as Emma navigated through the menus, searching for the elusive control panel. After a few moments of tense scrolling and clicking, Emma finally found the settings.

"Here it is," she said, pointing to a "Portal Control" option. "This should be it."

Nelson and Emma worked together, following the instructions from Mia's avatar. The screen flickered, and a series of commands appeared, prompting them to input the correct sequence.

Morro watched, floating in anticipation. "Come on, come on. We need to get her out of there."

Finally, after a few tense moments, the screen flashed with a burst of light. Mia's avatar began to shimmer and then, with a final flicker, it disappeared from the screen.

"Did it work?" Emma asked, looking at Nelson.

Before anyone could answer, Mia herself tumbled out of the Nintendo, landing with a soft thud on the floor. She looked dazed but relieved.

"Am I... out?" Mia asked, sitting up and rubbing her head.

"Yeah, you're out," Nelson said, helping her up. "Glad to have you back."

Mia looked at them with a sheepish grin. "Thanks, guys. I guess I got a little carried away."

Emma shook her head, trying to suppress a smile. "Just... no more experiments without supervision, okay?"

Morro floated beside Mia, giving her a playful nudge. "And maybe stick to less adventurous hobbies next time."

Mia laughed. "Agreed. I'll try to keep my experiments a little less... dimensional."

Emma glared at her. " Ya think?"
