Still 1

When they arrived, Mia dismounted from Sapphire in a fluent motion and ran to her fretting friend.

" It's getting worse!" She said. " They really hate you ninja."

Mia sighed. " Here's the plan. Me and Rose go in there are TRY to reason with them. No elemental powers. You guys stay hidden."

Everyone agreed. Except Nelson.

But before he could object, Mia said, " And yes, we need the peace keeper with us."

" Wahoo!" Nelson cheered, jumping up and down.

The Realm of Endless Baths shimmered before them, a swirling vortex of pink and blue hues that distorted the surrounding sky. It pulsed rhythmically, like a giant bubble about to burst. Mia grimaced, picturing endless sudsy landscapes and mountains of bath bombs.

Rose, beside her, tugged at her braid nervously. "You sure this is the right place, Mia?"

Mia nodded, forcing a smile. "Positive. Now, remember, diplomacy. No wind powers, no fiery outbursts. Just charm and negotiation."

Rose swallowed. "Charm? Me? Okay, but if things get out of hand—"

"We run," Mia finished, her voice laced with humor despite the situation. "And hopefully, Nelson can distract them with his…unique brand of cheer."

A muffled yell emerged from Mia's backpack where Blackie currently resided.

Taking a deep breath, Mia straightened her shoulders and adjusted her gi. "Alright, let's do this."

Stepping through the shimmering portal, they found themselves in a world unlike anything they'd ever seen. Lush, pastel-colored hills rolled as far as the eye could see, dotted with what appeared to be gigantic bath tubs overflowing with rainbow-colored water. Gentle waterfalls cascaded into glistening pools, and fluffy clouds drifted lazily across the bubblegum-pink sky. Even the air smelled vaguely like lavender and chamomile.

A group of figures approached, clad in pristine suits and holding clipboards.

" Hello." One of the figures said. " We are members of the administration. My name is sub agent Tessa. Identity yourselves."

" My name is Mia Elizabeth Walker. These are my friends, Rose Cunningham and Nelson Decided."

" My last name is NOT Decided!" Nelson hissed.

" Well it is now." Rose muttered.

Mia stepped forward. " We are here to speak from the ninja."

" The ninja?" Tessa snorted. " Those so called ' heros' are just monkeys in disguise!"

" Hey! We- rather, they- are NOT monkeys!" Nelson shouted, stepping forward.

" WHY do you think the ninja are monkeys?" Mia asked.

Another agent ( Ella) spoke up. " Because, they stole a dangerous artifact, stole the equipment Zane, and keep defeating us!"

" What if you try looking at it in their view?" Rose suggested.

" Why would we want to do that?" Ella asked.

" Because, what you think or see may not be what we see!" Nelson piped up.

Mia took over. " What if that so called ' dangerous ' artifact was a weapon used to save the world and end merge-quakes."

Tessa sighed heavily. " Now that I think about it, the sky-ripping treamors have ended. There hasn't been a single one since two months!"

" And what if they're defeating you so they can go save the world? I mean, the day of the Blood moon, I did hear you guys were slowing the ninja down from saving some type of spell." Rose added.

" Bonzle. Her name is Bonzle." Mia said flately.

" But what about the equipment? That doesn't justify their actions." Ella said.

Mia sighed, scratching her head. " Zane is... A different story." Then, looking at a cyborg in the distance, she said, " look at that agent. He is a cyborg. Do you think he is equipment, just because he has gears and not a heart?"

Ella shook her head. " No, we actually never thought of it like that."

" And if he were to be short circuited and never turn on again. What would you say happened to him?"

" He died." Tessa said, still confused. " But what does that have to do with anything?"

A third agent ( Asphalt) thought out loud. " So maybe, they see the equipment -"

" Zane!" Mia cried. " His name is ZANE!"

" Apologies. Yes, ZANE, as a living being rather than a rob-"

" Nindroid."

"  O-kay. Yes. As a nindroid, like how we see Agent Alphabet over there as human."

Nelson silently laughed, biting his lip. He found that a person named ' alphabet ' was quite amusing.

Rose nodded. " Yes. Though they may look different, and have more knowledge than us because they are walking rule books and dictionaries, they are nonetheless similar to us."

" You make a valid point." Ella said.

Then, a fourth agent ( Bob) said, raising his gun" Wait a minute. Do you have an authorization to ask us these questions?"

" Oh... Um.... Ah.... I...-"

" Yes, she does. She has a family member who works in the Administration. " Rose said, confidently.

" I do?" Mia was confused.

Rose nodded. " I heard it in my dream."

Rose was the elemental master of... Well, they didn't really know. She could hear things and see things other people couldn't see or knew existed.

Mia shrugged. " Whatever you say."

Agent Bob lowered his gun. " Okay. Please identify which agent."

" It's not an agent." Rose piped up. " It's a manager."

" Ma... Manager?" Agent Bob scratched his head. " There's only one manager in each unit. Which one is your sibling in?"

Mia turned to Rose, who shrugged. " My dreams aren't that detailed. You know that."

Mia sighed. " I haven't seen any of my family members since the Merge."

" Oh. Then this will be a lot of paperwork."

" PAPERWORK?!" Nelson exclaimed.

" Yep. The administration is all about paperwork." Mia sighed.

A collective groan echoed through the pastel landscape of the Realm of Endless Baths. Paperwork. The bane of heroes and villains alike. Even the prospect of endless suds seemed less daunting compared to mountains of tedious forms.

Nelson, ever the optimist, tried to inject some cheer. "Hey, maybe they have a really efficient filing system? Like one of those fancy color-coded things!"

Mia, however, wasn't buying it. "Knowing our luck," she grumbled, "it'll be handwritten in triplicate, on some kind of ancient papyrus scroll."

Tessa, the head agent, seemed to sense their growing frustration. With a small smile, she held up a hand. "Don't worry, formalities are important, but we can be flexible. Perhaps you can answer a few questions while we get the paperwork started?"

"Questions?" Rose perked up, a spark of curiosity igniting in her eyes. "I love answering questions, especially about things I don't know!"

Mia rolled her eyes at Rose's enthusiasm, but secretly she was curious too. Understanding the administration's perspective could only help their cause.

Tessa cleared her throat. "First, who is this family member Rose mentioned? And what unit do they work in?"

Rose, ever the dreamer, paused for a dramatic moment. "Hmm, let's see... their name is... Bartholomew! And they work in the... Department of Unidentified Sock Mysteries!"

A confused frown creased Tessa's brow. "The Department of Unidentified Sock Mysteries? We don't have such a department."

Rose blinked. "Oh. Right. Maybe it was the Department of Lost Buttons then?"

The agents exchanged bewildered glances. Bob scratched his head in confusion. "Lost buttons? We don't have that either."

Mia, sensing the situation spiraling out of control, stepped in. "Alright, Rose. Maybe your dream connection isn't as strong as you thought."

Rose pouted, her cheeks flushed. "But I was so sure..."

Tessa, despite the absurdity of the situation, chuckled softly. "It's alright. Sometimes dreams can be a bit... metaphorical."

Suddenly, a lightbulb seemed to flicker on in Mia's mind. "Wait a minute," she said, her voice gaining a hint of excitement. "Rose, your dreams... they show you things that are…unidentified, lost, or even forgotten. Right?"

" Right."

" So, identity the person you saw."

" Identity?!" Rose was astonished.

" Yes. If you can see unidentified things, and you know I have a family member who works in the administration, then remember how he looks. Or some clue."

Rose sighed, closed her eyes, and assumed fighting stance. A few moments went by, and the agents were tapping their foot impatiently.

Then, Rose's eyes snapped open.

" Relocation!" She exclaimed. " He works in relocation!"

" Relocation...." Tessa took out a book and flipped through a few pages. " Yep, we have a unit called relocation."

" Could you teleport him here?" Mia asked, hopeful.

Bob nodded. " Yes, we can do that."

A collective gasp escaped the group as Bob aimed a strange device at a blank spot in the air. Light swirled and crackled, and then, with a poof of multicolored smoke, a young man materialized in the pastel field. He wore a suit and had a gaming console perpetually attached to his arm. His eyes darted around in confusion, taking in the bubblegum sky, the overflowing bathtubs, and the group of surprised faces staring at him.

"Uh... hello?" he stammered, his voice a nervous squeak. "Where am I? Who are you?"

He heard a gasp, and then arms wrapped around him tightly.
